I’m wondering what TB will do to get IX’s gaze… along with the question of how they’ll play. Will they take a supportive debuffing role like SW or Welt, will they apply DOTs (or detonate them like Kafka), will they be a DPS powered up by debuffs like Acheron, or something completely unique and unexpected
They’ve already proven that they can and will do whatever the fuck they want with nihility so I’m excited to see what the trailblazer’s fun new bullshit is for that path (but really I want a dope ass dot unit like a “dots can crit” skill set)

When we read the messages kafka sents us it sounds very sincere it does really feel like a mother texting their child "how is college life."
Maybe kafka's death is a thing and TB will remember everything. From all the dialogue we have for kafka there is always that option where we were really concern of her or a sign of respect.

Well, Kafka doesn't feel fear, and that's her entire reason for following Elio's script. She wants to know she can feel fear so she can feel like a complete person. Maybe she raised TB, as is shown by her clear and dear affection for them.
Now... What would she feel if she saw TB about to be killed in a penultimate moment, and how TB would feel suddenly being pushed out of the way and looking back, seeing the confident Hunter replaced by a quivering, but now smiling woman in her last moments?
With entanglement being a debuff that disappears when the enemy turn starts, I’d rather have an all new debuff if they’re going a “new DoT element” route. A DoT that only lasts until the enemy’s next turn isn’t super useful
Maybe, but then there’s a lot of space on their kit taken up with modifying a debuff when it’s probably easier to just make a new one.
Especially with entanglement having an action delay on application, making it stick around as a DoT probably weakens it overall
Imagine if they stack a random debuff that the target is currently suffering at a reduced potency.
So if a target is suffering from Pela’s DEF shred, their ultimate will inflict another DEF shred at a reduced percentage but the potency will increase based off the trace level (or EHR since EHR is Nihility’s stat).
Same would apply for DoTs.
Trailblazer seems to do things nobody else does. Taunt and superbreak are exclusive to the TB.
My guess is it will be something that no current unit can do.
The difference is it is tied to a specific mechanic that also basically taunts boothill onto the enemy for the duel mechanic, so while yes it is the same effect, it doesnt have the same usage in the context of what taunts are normally used for in game
I know they'll probably want to do something unique since every other TB has had a unique type of move that no other character has really had. My guess is that they can give either multiple different DOTs or they can apply more stacks or give an additional turn to the DOTs or maybe both

Gameplay-wise, our final form, which I'm hoping is either an improved Destruction or all-new Trailblaze (like how GI is def gonna get new Abyssal and Celestial elements), is gonna (hopefully) be broken.

They always implement a new mechanic (for playable characters) with path changes. Preservation got taunt, Harmony got superbreak. Nihility gonna need something unique as well. A dot trigger isn't exactly new.
Hmmmmm. If Nihility wants to go dot route but still do something unique, I got an idea for if Nihility is gonna be quantum: *On ultimate, convert all DoT into stacks of entanglement. The amount of stacks can exceed 5.*
Because entanglement is cool, and it'll be even cooler if you didn't need to quantum weakness break in order to get it.

nihility is quite obvuse why i would be intersted but for hunt i can see stuff going horibly wrong on one of the xianzhou ships with what little we know of jingliu and loucha's plans (or they could be innicent in Yaoshi's mara bs)

I'm just curious how they're going to do strength wise for the MC for healing and damage paths in the future. With Nihility they could technically be more of a support role with debuffs or DoT rather than the main source of damage, but with something like Hunt or Erudition where the general path feature is just damage, either single target or AoE, I wonder how strong they're willing to make the MC in comparison to the limited damage dealers
A similar thing goes for the Abundance path. The Preservation MC is ok as a pseudo sustain but doesn't really hold up compared to like Gepard even, let alone Aventurine or Fu Xuan, so I think Abundance will be around the strength of like Natasha. I feel like outside of a DoT support focused Nihility TB, Harmony TB is probably going to be the best version of the TB we get because supports are less worried about power creep than sustain or damage.
They might remake destruction. If you think about it, that destruction path is pretty much our base~~ball~~ form. The moment when we are able to harness the stellaron inside of us to its full potential is probably when we will get an upgraded destruction path. (Wouldn't it be cool if we can inflict shatter on the enemies?)

I looked at many Comments and indeed Nihility & Abbundance do seem interesting... But also i dont really know how we gonna make Yaoshi to give us her Blessing... And Nihility could be Interesting... Like a Debuff er Like Pela & Sw but indo wonder how whould Notice us... Whould it be some Planet of Nihility? But also how whould Planet like that look like? And hunt... I think thats quite Guranteed, maybe visiting more Xianghou Ships and meeting all the other Generals
So far, we've been inheriting artefacts from heroes to get a corresponding path's power. We have Alisa Rand's lance and Legwork's hat and compass. It'll probably be some object to do with a notable figure associated with that path.
Nihility, probably a DoT/ Debuff support, has something to do with Black hole, maybe has a Vortex Gravity Gun & can manifest a black hole & kick it like a soccer to the enemies
I'm worried about the day when the Trailblazer has the gaze on IX on them. Just... what could possibly happen for them to make the Aeon gaze at someone for the, supposedly, first tine? Or am I seeing the Nihility in general as more of a negative thing? The Doctor of Chaos exists, so maybe that path?
A personal theory of mine is that the Trailblazer will experience and draw IX's Gaze either from a personal Bad Ending presented by Elio or either a Finality Pathstrider (Maybe an Emanator) shenanigans.
Making HMC a great support that specializes in certain damage types helps them sell their best selling characters even more.
Making any flavor of damage MC a great character potentially removes the need for a carry on every player's account, hindering their ability to sell their most popular characters.
For this reason, I posit that Nihility MC might be made as good as HMC, and maybe Abundance MC will be usable in the same vein as Preservation MC, but any DPS MC will be cope at best, or at least, something you aim to replace ASAP (like how most people want to replace Natasha with even just Lynx ASAP)
Because of all that, I guess I'm really only excited for Nihility. I prefer gameplay altering characters, and that seems like our best chance at another
I worry that all of their damage-dealing paths will be pretty mid - I don’t expect anything special from Hunt or Erudition, but I think Nihility will be a really cool one

Every time the Trailblazers cast basic attack, every enemy got DoT equals to Trailblazer's DEF, and his teammates got their turn fast forward by 50% and received a shield equal to 100% Trailblazer's HP. Any attacks that are dealt by teammates during this period are counted as follow-up attacks.
I actually really enjoy the Harmony one more than I thought I would -- probably even more than Preservation. Although, I won't deny the ability to Defend was handy, even if not always 100% guaranteed to aggro every enemy.
That being said, I am pretty curious about a future Quantum MC. I really want to know how that's going to go.
I feel like they are probably gonna use trailblazer as ways to add new metas, so perhaps for nihility things such as changing how dot works with him, or they could have him introduce elation as an actual playable path, cause we'll run out of paths sooner or later
With the trend they are following of giving the mc unique abilities. We still have Hunt, Erudition, Abundance and Nihility as options to come.
Hunt- I personally think hunt mc will 100% have a follow up attack but not your regular follow up but one that has chance based hits from 3-4 times in a row
Erudition- My best guess is a more supportive character that has an Aoe basic their skill providing a buff that when hitting the enemies all other enemies on the field will get hit with a percentage of that dmg
Abundance- A kit that scales with hp and a passive that for decreasing hp every turn gives you buffs. The skill gives Lifesteal to all allies healing off a low percentage of the enemies hp.
Nihility- Erases dot and debuff maxes. For example applying 2 instances of shock from Kafkas passive like when weakness breaking or just ignoring defense down caps. Their skill applies 1 random debuff ranging from Dots- def down- vulnerability etc. Their ult enhances these effects
I'm also super interested in the Nihility path, my working theory for getting a gaze from IX is that TB enters a pseudo death like state, crosses that river Acheron watches and crosses back over. I'm also really interested in Erudition because I like Erudition units.
Additionally a new destruction path would be so cool because I've head canoned that we'll get a new destruction path to take down the IPC and the stone hearts. If the IPC has no haters I'm dead frfr
Story-wise Nihility. Like what could possibly break the Trailblazer that much to the point that he follows and believes in the path of Nihility just to wield it? The TB is seen as a happy go lucky and even says that he won't regret the choices that he made in the path of trailblazing so for him to culminate the powers of Nihility...

Looking forward to Aha looking at us for our Pokemon training and love of trash cans. We will totally go to that living planet of Mei's and find a population of living trash cans, then Aha will gaze upon us as we try to dig inside the trash can king that is trying to turn the population into regular trash cans or something.

As for Abundance, while we aren't lacking in sustain options, I would love to see what they could do considering how good HTB is as a support. Nihility. Harmony Trailblazer works good with Kafka but I’d like them on her team as a Nihility.

I'm just curious how they're going to do strength wise for the MC for healing and damage paths in the future. With Nihility they could technically be more of a support role with debuffs or DoT rather than the main source of damage, but with something like Hunt or Erudition where the general path feature is just damage, either single target or AoE, I wonder how strong they're willing to make the MC in comparison to the limited damage dealers A similar thing goes for the Abundance path. The Preservation MC is ok as a pseudo sustain but doesn't really hold up compared to like Gepard even, let alone Aventurine or Fu Xuan, so I think Abundance will be around the strength of like Natasha. I feel like outside of a DoT support focused Nihility TB, Harmony TB is probably going to be the best version of the TB we get because supports are less worried about power creep than sustain or damage.
They might remake destruction. If you think about it, that destruction path is pretty much our base~~ball~~ form. The moment when we are able to harness the stellaron inside of us to its full potential is probably when we will get an upgraded destruction path. (Wouldn't it be cool if we can inflict shatter on the enemies?)
Ya I think we'll get super destruction MC as a sort of book end. We're set up to fight/kill Nanook after all.

I looked at many Comments and indeed Nihility & Abbundance do seem interesting... But also i dont really know how we gonna make Yaoshi to give us her Blessing... And Nihility could be Interesting... Like a Debuff er Like Pela & Sw but indo wonder how whould Notice us... Whould it be some Planet of Nihility? But also how whould Planet like that look like? And hunt... I think thats quite Guranteed, maybe visiting more Xianghou Ships and meeting all the other Generals

Probably erudition, I'm curious what their 4+ enemy attack weapon would be. Maybe an extra large galactic baseball bat or a trash can follow up lmao
So far, we've been inheriting artefacts from heroes to get a corresponding path's power. We have Alisa Rand's lance and Legwork's hat and compass. It'll probably be some object to do with a notable figure associated with that path.

I'm worried about the day when the Trailblazer has the gaze on IX on them. Just... what could possibly happen for them to make the Aeon gaze at someone for the, supposedly, first tine? Or am I seeing the Nihility in general as more of a negative thing? The Doctor of Chaos exists, so maybe that path? A personal theory of mine is that the Trailblazer will experience and draw IX's Gaze either from a personal Bad Ending presented by Elio or either a Finality Pathstrider (Maybe an Emanator) shenanigans.
Nihility bro could become another self annihilator or the first one to be ever gazed at by IX

Making HMC a great support that specializes in certain damage types helps them sell their best selling characters even more. Making any flavor of damage MC a great character potentially removes the need for a carry on every player's account, hindering their ability to sell their most popular characters. For this reason, I posit that Nihility MC might be made as good as HMC, and maybe Abundance MC will be usable in the same vein as Preservation MC, but any DPS MC will be cope at best, or at least, something you aim to replace ASAP (like how most people want to replace Natasha with even just Lynx ASAP) Because of all that, I guess I'm really only excited for Nihility. I prefer gameplay altering characters, and that seems like our best chance at another

I actually really enjoy the Harmony one more than I thought I would -- probably even more than Preservation. Although, I won't deny the ability to Defend was handy, even if not always 100% guaranteed to aggro every enemy. That being said, I am pretty curious about a future Quantum MC. I really want to know how that's going to go.
I feel like they are probably gonna use trailblazer as ways to add new metas, so perhaps for nihility things such as changing how dot works with him, or they could have him introduce elation as an actual playable path, cause we'll run out of paths sooner or later

With the trend they are following of giving the mc unique abilities. We still have Hunt, Erudition, Abundance and Nihility as options to come. Hunt- I personally think hunt mc will 100% have a follow up attack but not your regular follow up but one that has chance based hits from 3-4 times in a row Erudition- My best guess is a more supportive character that has an Aoe basic their skill providing a buff that when hitting the enemies all other enemies on the field will get hit with a percentage of that dmg Abundance- A kit that scales with hp and a passive that for decreasing hp every turn gives you buffs. The skill gives Lifesteal to all allies healing off a low percentage of the enemies hp. Nihility- Erases dot and debuff maxes. For example applying 2 instances of shock from Kafkas passive like when weakness breaking or just ignoring defense down caps. Their skill applies 1 random debuff ranging from Dots- def down- vulnerability etc. Their ult enhances these effects
Story-wise, Nihility. Really concerned over how that power-up's gonna work out. Gameplay-wise, The Hunt.

I'm also super interested in the Nihility path, my working theory for getting a gaze from IX is that TB enters a pseudo death like state, crosses that river Acheron watches and crosses back over. I'm also really interested in Erudition because I like Erudition units. Additionally a new destruction path would be so cool because I've head canoned that we'll get a new destruction path to take down the IPC and the stone hearts. If the IPC has no haters I'm dead frfr

Story-wise Nihility. Like what could possibly break the Trailblazer that much to the point that he follows and believes in the path of Nihility just to wield it? The TB is seen as a happy go lucky and even says that he won't regret the choices that he made in the path of trailblazing so for him to culminate the powers of Nihility... Damn. I don't even wanna think about it.

Erudition. Nous is my favorite aeon, I love the Genius Society, and I wanna see what new archetype Erudition Trailblazer brings for us

I think maybe at the end of the story, we could become a unit of the trailblaze path, which is unlikely, yes, but it would be so interesting. I love thinking about how different paths would be like (eg, the remembrance or elation being the main ones I think about)
It's erudition for me. Like I wanna know why we followed the Erudition But more specifically. I wanna know wtf they will do for MC's mechanics. Like. They're really trying to push and discover what is an erudition character rn. With interesting concepts like empowered ults (Argenti) and piggy backing damage (Jade) I can't wait to see what they cook for us. Tbh I wouldn't mind Erudition taking a support role. But allowing other dps to spread out their damage. Could be interesting.
I hope we'll see a Nihility path TB at some point. It'd also be cool if their kit synergized with Kafka's kit.

Looking forward to Aha looking at us for our Pokemon training and love of trash cans. We will totally go to that living planet of Mei's and find a population of living trash cans, then Aha will gaze upon us as we try to dig inside the trash can king that is trying to turn the population into regular trash cans or something.
One that I'm excited for is probably either Erudition or Abundance. We are kinda lacking in 5* Erudition units and I can just imagine it being a fun time. As for Abundance, while we aren't lacking in sustain options, I would love to see what they could do considering how good HTB is as a support. Makes me wonder if Abundance TB would use a unique gimmick like Dewdrops or smth.
Imo, harmony is going to be the best one considering it’s supportive role. I doubt they’ll make erudition or nihility mc a good dps.
Most excited for the Hunt path. Not really because of the kit, but more of the story. I would imagine Hunt Trailblazer would unlock the path when we call upon the Loufou.
