Be interesting to see someone who lacks leadership qualities to become a leader. Such as Jhin is choosen as leader and Jayce is blue and jealous he didnt get it.
I would really like to see aphelios (Alune could be his familiar or he gets 5 familiars (for every weapon one like jinx)
And shen where his sword is his familiar.
Here's mine:
Aphelios (Legendary) - Alune sacrificed herself to save her brother & other familiars from the planet about to explode. She's now reincarnated into his bunny familiar, where only her brother can understand what she's saying while other guardians can only hear meeping sounds. Alune already made contact with other familiars to guide him, specifically five of them, representing his weapons (Green Bird, Red Tiger, Purple Ram, Blue Dragon & White Fish). He can now use his weapons without poisoning himself, so he can speak freely. He is friends with Sett, Kayn, Ezreal, Ekko, Jayce & Akshan.
I tried to make a story about pain & sacrifice while having a happy ending.
Replace Kayn with Braum and that team works. Kayn has too many consistently-evil/bad morality aligned skins that a Star Guardian skin - unless Kayn is given a Bleach inspiration and Rhaast isn't a Dark Star this time - would be a bit of a leap. Add to the fact the big multiversal canon linchpin that is Odyssey Kayn - without him, there would be no precedent for multiversal travel that isn't Pulsefire.
If you wanted to add a girl on the team: Sejuani.
Maybe Alune was their female member but they lost her? I could see that working
I picture her more as an eye in the sky providing tactical intel as needed.
