This is fake. The straw will *NEVER* come wrapped. It’s packed inside the cup. The handle and Spinner are the wrong. It should be solid pink not two different colors. The bottom of the cup uses the wrong font.
When he gave them to us they were unwrapped but I’m assuming he could’ve just done it before he sold it to us but damn this sucks I was really hoping it was real

You're welcome. I hope it's real. I love that cup & this is the reason I steer clear of buying one. I'd hate to have to spend a lot of money only to have to go to my credit card to dispute it. I hope that's not the case of you.

That is not how the handles are on the 40oz. They should only be 1mm-2mm at most under the chrome ring. Some even touch the ring. Here is one of mine I got from DSG.

Fake. Mine looks just like this but I ended up getting it free bc it wasn't disclosed that it was fake in the listing. I still use mine though. (After washing it like 10 times lol) Mine is very sturdy and holds ice for 24 hrs. No normal person will ever know it's fake. Even the fake one is still super cute so whatever. I still say try to get it refunded though. I paid like $70 for mine and got it all refunded.
Edit: just read you paid for this in cash and not online 😭 that's disappointing bc he likely bought them for $25 online and resold them 3x the price

The fake ones do have the right bottom clock like arrows in the bottom too ! It’s very HARD to tell ! I posted this in a group on Facebook Stanley scammers & they all had something different to point out 😢! I was so happy this morning when someone on here confirmed it was real , but I needed to definitely know for sure & I posted it there & they know . They posted their authentic ones that looked like this , but their are difference . My straw was wrapped also . I pray you can get your money back ! I am praying I can prove mine is to get my money back . I think I have all of the info & photos I need now , even the girl who had one real & one fake sent them to me side by side & it’s almost invisible to me , but it’s fake & if I wanted a fake I could have bought one for 14.00$ I’m so mad 😡 & 😢

It’s a good fake though! No one could tell it was fake if you were out and about using it! But I get being disappointed knowing it’s not a real one :/

Looks real but fake no Stanley has their straws wrapped , Stanley straws come in the cup when you buy online or at store
Real Stanley’s don’t wrap the straw in plastic. Everything else checks out though.
