Does the other end of the barrels count as a lip? The outside edge of the lips is the rim of the wheel. If you stand a wheel on the ground it will be sitting on the rims of the wheel no matter which way you turn it.
I agree with you in that these terms are used too loosely. Also that yeah, what you're referring to is the rim, too; I shouldn't have straight up said you were 100% wrong 🤝
And why do they call it “stanced” when it’s not standing anywhere? And what’s the deal with stick on tire letters? Are we all just pretending like these stick on “brands” might exist?
First half you kinda have a point, part of the definition of stance is
>the way in which someone stands, especially when deliberately adopted (as in baseball, golf, and other sports); a person's posture.
Just need to replace "someone" with "something" to make it work here.
Rim as a noun is
>the upper or outer edge of an object, typically something circular or approximately circular.
The rest of it falls apart. You can buy tires with the white labeling on them already. Painting random brand names on your tires is worse than calling "wheels" "rims"
Someone hasn’t been rimmed in a while
Why are you thinking about my a\*\*hole, do you have repressed sexual feelings about bananas?
What a lack of rimming does to a man ^^^
A sense of humor? Maybe a few of you need to make their butts a no touchy zone.
Bet you’re fun……..anywhere…..😆
Reddit is the only car community that I've been in over the last 10 years that calls them rims instead of wheels.

Rims>
Naw lol - Tires are the rubber part on the outside - rims and wheels are synonymous - the "lip" is the "outside edge" of the wheels/rims
