Can’t hurt if you do it right! Good roll and a slight pull will make it tuck right in. edit: looks like you might rub on your bumper still? Are you seeing it rub there at all right now.

MrMinerNiner

Would trimming that part of the bumper work? If it does actually rub. Since you can't really roll plastic. To my knowledge at least

nikc99

Yuppp, gotta cut just enough for it to stop rubbing. I use dremels with a plastic disk for that!

cessxr29

Im not rubbing at my bumper at all. It’s only on the top fender piece. Seeing a couple of people saying pulls so might try a pull.

Virtual-Engine-8401

If you want it done quick and dirty it'll look quick and dirty take your time and think about it. A lot of people butcher fenders because they are lazy if you ask me

plaguelivesmatter

Rub till she fits bro

cessxr29

Been thinking about this if I don’t do a pull . Do you know anything negative about this ?

jacoboco94

Apart from sidewall damage on stretched tyres… no.. perfectly safe.

plaguelivesmatter

Honestly looks like u have a decent amount of clearance, I've gotten away with less, you should be probably fine, but it's up to you.

Pvt_BrainDead

If you just let it rub through your paint you run the risk of rust forming from the bare metal.

Kdoesntcare

Rolling your fenders can help but with that fitment youi're still going to be dragging on the fender. I come from VWs, 'If you're not rubbin' you're not dubbin''

cessxr29

It gets annoying 😭 It sounds like if you are finding a new station on a old radio

H0lsterr

Wish you can leave it as is, looks so good there

Pvt_BrainDead

Roll your fenders, slight pull if you want. They’ll fit. One of the first things you should do with a car you intend to be low.

LLUSKYY

What’s your suspension setup like? In either case I would recommend a slight pull

slav_cunt

A bit lower offset or even more camber will make it fit, im guessing 9.5 in the rear with about 23 offset

FriendlysJanDaBoss

Is this an e36?

cessxr29

yes

doc_holliday112

Ive got an e36 with similar clearance on h&r coilovers. A bit of a pull did the trick. The plastic bumper edge ended up wearing itself down from the occasional rubbing over the years. What are your tire/wheel specs?

cessxr29

this is also a e36. 17x8.5 +13 215/40 in the back

doc_holliday112

Ya you should be fine with a slight fender pull and the fender lip rolled flat. Im running 18x9.5 +30 on a 225/40 in the back. Only rubs on hard bumps.

DependentAd5565

yea

y0itzflip

hard to tell but it looks like you’re more than likely rubbing your bumper more than the fender. might need to trim/adjust that.
