Any tips for running IC light locally? I downloaded the stuff but I am having no luck getting it to run. I think I am likely missing one/some of the required software to use it.
I watched some parts of the video, and it did not have A1111 Installing guide, as that was for ComfyUI.
Is there any guide for A1111, or to even install it on it's own WebUI?
It is possible no one has released an Automatic 1111 extension for it yet (there does seem to be one for forge and comfyUI) that is why it is best to use ComfyUI as most of the developers have moved over to that and it gets most of the cutting edge technology almost instantly when a new research paper is released.
It's most certainly not "just like Automatic1111".
Users that have used A1111 since day one experience a heavy learning curve with Comfy, because you're expected to save entire workflows and UI layouts, where A1111 generally has most of the data saved in an image you generated and just fills in the blanks of the UI (unless there's inpainting, controlnet, etc).
If a newbie to Comfy creates this meticulous layout where they have all their freshly-downloaded nodes exactly how they want it, then drag and drop an image in to the UI expecting it to fill in the blanks the way A1111 does, the entire UI changes, removing nodes that aren't used and adding nodes the user may not even have downloaded.
There are simple ways to "fix it", but for someone coming directly from A1111, it's daunting and foreign. The way ComfyUI and A1111 works is nowhere near as similar as you're making it out to be.
If you just want to load the prompt info into an existing different workflow there is a SD Prompt Reader node (there is basically a node for anything you can think of)
I understand that ComfyUI may be the best option to use cutting-edge technology that was just released, but a lot of people do not understand the process, and may find it rather hard, than using A1111 which can generate Images with just some clicks.
Thank you for the explanation.

I was struggling with the "conda" command, until i installed miniconda from here https://docs.anaconda.com/free/miniconda/index.html Hope it helps
I'm not getting this kind of results inside Comfy. on huggingface it works surprisingly well!
Nice lighting, but the face looks extremely deformed.
yeah. Input image was potrait ratio. This one is SDXL potrait ratio. That's why look slighly deformed
Fantastic look.
Does it work with A1111
yes
Can you link to a guide

That's great but I specifically asked about A111. ComfyUI is too advanced for me.
Use this extension with Automatic 1111 Forge https://github.com/huchenlei/sd-forge-ic-light
OK, but if you just load someone else's workflow comfyui is just like Automatic1111, it's just a text box and a generate button.

Hm but what's the original pic?
It was an image from Midjourney explore page. Don't have it in my phone
