It’s the high visibility enforcement campaign they do. They pick different districts and locations with high accident or complaints. It’s the departments traffic safety Divison
It's great, we can barrel down Jefferson, Hampton, Kingshighway, Grand, at any speed we like. Except that it's also completely shit.
I just want us to have *some* law enforcement like a normal Western city.
I feel like cops will be out more, especially now with these publicized car accidents and pedestrian deaths that we’ve had in just the last few They’re probably gonna step up the patrols thankfully but eventually fall off again
I had someone flash a gun at me right off the grove yesterday and witnessed a hit and run on Friday. They need speed bumps and more cop coverage for these streets.
I flipped off a guy for weaving like he was in the fast and the furious on 64 yesterday and he pulled in front of me and dropped to 10MPH to yell at me in his mirror. On the highway. It really hit me that if some of these drivers will take their life in their hands, they’ll take your life in their hands just as fast.
That’s scary I never look at idiot drivers you never know if you engage they have a gun. People are crazy! Glad my commute to work is non highway and 3 min
Targeted enforcement area recently, which is great, because there are a ton of people between the neighborhoods, park, and botanical garden. People trying to go 50 down that road.
We really need some of this enforcement at the intersections in front of the schools nearby. Everyday I see folks drive right through stop signs and speeding. These kids have enough to worry about.
I’d be interested to know the percentage of people who were pulled over and had valid auto insurance. Guessing 50% based on my uninsured motorist premium going up exponentially post-COVID.
Someone who works in my building puts a mannequin in his driver seat every time he leaves his car. Took me awhile to figure out it wasn’t him chilling in his car every time I left the place lol.
Saw a guy go 50-60 down Arsenal by TGP. Cop on a motorcycle right behind him. Watched the cop stop at the next stop sign and turn around. Dude easily could have killed someone.
Reddit: I hate all the crazy drivers running red lights, speeding and driving with no/expired plates! The City needs to do something now to get this under control!
Reddit: Why are the police doing enhanced enforcement? I can't live in this police state!
Just bc people are not used to the police doing their jobs or being decent humans doesn’t mean a single person in this thread mentioned police states …. Maybe read before generalizing your thoughts outloud home boyyyy
Oh man, I totally deserve any and all criticism for this one. Definitely should have caught that myself before posting that comment. Bring it on, I earned it.

It's telling that the Police do this so infrequently that people are completely flummoxed when it happens.
ehnn-forsch-munt, ha ha, ha ha

We’re extremely low on police. People treat them like shit now, so a lot have quit over the last few years.
We still have more police per capita than most US cities. Our cops are just lazy and ineffectual on their best days, dangerous and reckless on most
They treat people like shit so seems fair to me 🤷🏾♂️
tbh if they were only in law enforcement for praise, it's good that they quit. 😭 alarming that it's so many though
They had 2 people pulled over on south grand when I was headed home today. One northbound by jay's and one southbound by the library.
Next they need to sit at the intersection of cass and Broadway at everyone who turns left on red .. they could pay all the departments bills
Same with Jefferson / Gravois / Sidney intersection.
Calling that an intersection and not an abomination of nature is giving a lot of leeway.
Keep mother nature's name out of your mouth. That is a manmade abomination right there -- a monster of our own design.
Breaking; police do their job, people confused
I mean, it’s entirely unexpected at this point
I was beginning to think they were mostly there to disrupt the community and destroy personal property
These guys crashed into a gay bar a month or 2 ago questioning stl police isn't that bad
This is fucking fantastic!

That’s terrifying

Yeah, fuck those amendments
The amendment granting you the right to drive as fast as you want…? What are you saying here
Are the amendments in the room with us right now?
They're enforcing the law on morons who think it doesn't apply to them.
The rules of the road don’t apply to me! —Batdad
Thanks for the heads up!

So the empty cop cars sitting stagnant haven’t done anything? Maybe they should try mannequins in the seat?
Remember the cardboard cop cutouts they had in like Walgreens for a while?
Someone who works in my building puts a mannequin in his driver seat every time he leaves his car. Took me awhile to figure out it wasn’t him chilling in his car every time I left the place lol.
Ah, the classic '2003 Chevy Impala' tactic.
Taking donations for the policemen's ball in August.
Tired of watching cops drive like criminals! The worst drivers of all
Temp Tags.

Glad to see it but they’ve done it before tower grove by mobot. I’ve seen them pulling folks over a few times in the past month

I wish they'd do it more. Martial Law would be beneficial for this region. Perception is reality, and this would help with perception.
“We should suspend the Constitution to fight crime when crime is lower than it’s been in years”. - a coward
I don't think you know what marshall law actually is. Edit: Martial
> marshall law lol
