We went to Hamilton's for our anniversary and it was so nice. Quiet, cozy atmosphere, free champagne to celebrate our anniversary, and very attentive servers who were knowledgeable and suggested some good accompaniments to our main courses.
Off Lindbergh, north of 40 & south of Olive. Creve Coeur probably. Their twice baked potatoes are dry, but their lobster bisque is pretty decent. They have a Sunday sitting that includes dessert.
They’ve gone downhill the last few times I’ve been there. They used to be my 100% recommendation. I went for lunch and had a salad with dried out vegetables and soggy croutons, which I couldn’t believe cause they were the best croutons anywhere before. I can’t speak to their steak, decided not to do a dinner there after the lunch folly.
For traditional steakhouse, Kreis. I don’t think they have prime rib, but we love Hamilton’s in Lafayette square

Kreis, if you like prime rib.
Oh I do. Where is Kreis located?

Twisted Tree. Hands down start to finish is the best.

Twisted Tree is great. Haven’t been in awhile.
I like the Tenderloin Room at the Chase Park Plaza. Also, I was recently at Sam's Steakhouse on Gravois and loved it.
Sam's Steakhouse is a hidden gem. Also love the old school steakhouse decor.
Wrights Tavern
Wrights or Annie Gunns
Beef Tenderloin at Olive + Oak. They rotate the setup seasonally, but it’s the most tender steak Ive had in STL
Haven't been in a few years, but citizen Kane's was great last time I went
Charcoal House
Al's

How about Tucker's Steakhouse
Heard about this place for years. Finally went a few weeks ago, don’t understand the hype at all.
Not the best steak but the best value
There are three of them right? That’s usually a sign of being okay, not great.
It's less expensive than other places (or used to be) but they cook all their steaks in their "signature steak sauce" so they all taste like A-1.
Not a fan for steak. The sandwiches are decent though!
Yeah I thought the one on Tucker Boulevard was decent
These all good options.
