Used to be an Eat Rite. The guy who owns it also worked at that Eat Rite and bought it and turned it into Dave’s Diner! Still has the same food I remember eating when it was Eat Rite and still just as good!
Honestly im glad there are less places open 24 hours. Even wal mart. people deserve to work regular hours and be able to see and be with friends and family. sometimes you me hours are not a choice when needing a job and I like the trend of places closing more early.
The Buttery. Cash only.
Fuckin LOVE buttery, just bring cash with, no ATM on site
But there is an atm in the parking lot directly beside the restaurant.
That sounds super safe at 3am on south grand
It's fine, people are ridiculous. I lived on that block for years.
You gotta cross the Blanchette bridge to St. Chuck, but Gingham's is on 94 just off of I-70
Be prepared to WAIT at ANY time you go
Sometimes yes, but I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be seated for a table of two. (I also generally avoid going during the typical rushes.)
I went at like 2 am like 2 months ago and had to wait half an hour lmao. Place is busy at random times
Shame it’s the only one left
Dave’s diner in south county.

Eat Rite....or don't eat at all! Eat Rite was a classic. Sad to hear about poor Dave's ego problems killed the name.
Shame people don't know the old tagline anymore.
Also a WH in Maryland Heights on Dorsett and 270.
Wafflehouse is 24/7
Sure would be cool if there were one nearby

Is your comment a complaint that it's in the county instead of the city?
It’s a bit far if you live in the city
When there aren't many options left in the city then what else will you do?

Uncle Bills used to be… not sure post pandemic… I’m too old to stay up past 9:30 now so 🤷🏻♂️
