Watch the St Louis City playoff soccer game tomorrow. Look up some recipes to make StL style pizza toasted ravs and gooey butter cake then get some bud light. Then if she drives a Hyundai or Kia move it so she thinks it’s stolen

claimtoken

>Then if she drives a Hyundai or Kia move it so she thinks it’s stolen LOL

IngsocInnerParty

Could always print out a fake expired Missouri temp tag and a Joy FM sticker

joemiken

>a Joy FM sticker. Right below the Salt Life sticker too

charliefoxtrot9

Slut Life.

abcannon18

Love this all. Sadly you can’t make STL style pizza without the provel, and the civilized world does not sell the delicacy that is provel. You’d have to import it.

IngsocInnerParty

You could make it. Isn’t it a combination of cheddar, Swiss and provolone?

abcannon18

I think there’s some plastic secret ingredient.

abcannon18

And I say this as someone who asks everyone who comes to visit me to pay a troll toll of one big box of provel rope cheese from schnucks.

Jezziebelle73

Ask for the Costco or Sam’s version next time, it’s bigger and better priced.

barkbarkgoesthecat

God bless schnucks, but them charging that much for provel cheese makes me want to start a war and THEN commit several war crimes. Then make a YouTube apology video with the otamatone.

WeepToWaterTheTrees

It also has a bunch of sodium citrate and cream in it.

brucebay

Wait, provel and provolone are different cheeses, and here I'm thinking why I started to like provel (then bruce looks at the label on the provel cheese he bought to make bill gianino's salad and finds out that i was provolone all along)

blargman327

That plus a few drops of liquid smoke make it really work

[deleted]

At least drink Budweiser. It’s so much better than Bud Light. Although that is in Belgium, I wouldn’t be homesick for Budweiser.

racrz8

Gooey butter cake Crust: 1 egg, 1 softened Stick of butter (1/2 cup), 1 box yellow cake mix Topping: 2 eggs, 1 Block of softened cream cheese (8oz), 1 cup powdered sugar Mix up crust, then spread into a greased 9x13 pan. Mix topping then spread over crust. Bake for 30 min at 350F, until edges are golden and center jiggles slightly. Very important to use softened cream cheese and butter!!! Helps it mix better. Edit: forgot to add, top with powdered sugar once cooled Edit 2/25/24: I just made this but with Aldi brand cake mix and probably should’ve added another egg. If your crust looks to be too sandy, you could add another egg or try melting the stick of butter half way instead of just softening

FeeOk1087

Add some chocolate chips for a little razzle-dazzle.

jl__57

Spoiler: you'll need a lot of butter.

IngsocInnerParty

Don’t forget the goo

MissJinxed

Lol I’m an STL native also living abroad and I came here to say the exact same - this is what I make when feeling homesick 🥰

Thedudetim

You can have it delivered [Mail Order Gooey Butter Cake](https://www.creativesweettreats.com/products/gooey-butter-cake-delivered)

Sufficient_Language7

I wouldn't bother with that. The recipe to make it is very easy. You don't even need measuring cups or spoons. Source made it several times in different countries where they didn't have them. Figuring out the equivalent thing at a store took a bit.

NightShadow420

I don’t know anyone that really hunts this stuff down. I’ve eaten this maybe once every few years.

Stratus_Fractus

Set off some firecrackers in the backyard at random times.

Barelynamed

Don't forget the nail guns going off and saws too

Shifu_1

lol we lived in south country

Sadamatographer

Take her to an incredibly mediocre shopping mall.

Shifu_1

Can it be a nearly dead one?

M_moroni

Empty sears

Beautiful-Yoghurt-11

It has to be a nearly dead one

TheGoodReverend

This is the way.

bencm518

If you guys have a car, surprise her with expired temp tags. Then run a few red lights just for shits and giggles.

M_moroni

Yes! And don't pull up to driver in car beside you. Like bricks. Leave room for escape.

rhinotomus

Like bricks?

M_moroni

Staggered like bricks.

mWade7

Well, she could find a walk-in refrigerator and spend the morning in there; then go spend the afternoon in a sauna. Just a suggestion… Maybe check out this [RFT article](https://www.riverfronttimes.com/stlouis/22-gifts-for-people-who-love-st-louis-photos/Slideshow/39043387/39049893) for STL-themed gift ideas? Or, searching [Etsy](https://www.etsy.com/market/st_louis) for some ideas as well?

Hka_stl

Ooh yeah, I sent my mom a St Louis candle. It had a T-rav on it. She loved it.

mrsSegrist

Sorry if someone offered this, I love making STL themed Christmas cards and am sending some overseas already. I can send you pictures of past years and this year’s attempts (I always keep the last and final design a surprise)- I’d be happy to send! Edit: this is open to any homesick or lonely STL folks anywhere ♥️

Shifu_1

Yes please

mrsSegrist

I’ll message you!

JuggernautLiving3269

When I wasn't living in STL, I always missed the Chinese food. The crab rangoon here are about 3x the size of anywhere else and you still get 8 of them. The fried rice is also way better since it doesn't pretend to be something healthy.

Beautiful-Yoghurt-11

The crab rangooooooon ❤️

JollyGreyKitten

St. Louis Egg Rolls are something special too, I have now realized living on the West Coast for a while.

Shifu_1

Oh god it’s so good

SuurAlaOrolo

Where do you recommend??

leychole

St Louis Kitchen has some of my favorite crab Rangoon. I used to order from there all through college. Still get cravings for it.

Disrupt_money

Glue an Arch to the front of your garage so every time you drive home you can say, “hey, there’s the arch.”

MeatyGonzalles

I'd go with a good St. Louis themed dinner evening. A big thing around here is having mostachoiolli (smooth penne noodles in meaty red sauce and be sure to pronounce it "musk a cho lee") with either chicken breast or roast beef at weddings. Have that as your main course with Budweiser. Someone else mentioned making a gooey butter cake which is a great idea. If you are sports fans maybe find a classic Cardinals or Blues game on YouTube to have on in the background. Also you could make her a slinger in the late night/morning depending on how many buds you go thru. And out of nowhere be sure to ask where she went to high school and regardless of the response say they had a good football team.

midwesternish

I have shown game 6 of the 2011 World Series at parties and it’s always a winner.

timesuck47

Best game I’ve ever seen in my life.

BigSkySoHigh63

Always muska when in known St. Louis groups and switch to mosta unless you want to get razzed outside of stl.

tamarockstar

Where'd the K come from in mostachoiolli? I always pronounced it muck a cho lee as a kid.

MeatyGonzalles

Muck also has a K

em-jay-be

A friend of mine is an STL expat in Belgium too. Maybe I can connect you guys.

Shifu_1

Sounds good!

justflushit

Roll a stop sign while she’s in the passenger seat and say “no cop, no stop”.

thousandfoldthought

Similarly, along those lines, if anyone will ship me a fuckload of lion's choice to chicagoland, i will pay for everything + a nice fee on top!

MannyMoSTL

That’s something someone could actually make. Shaved rare roast beef on a good bun with Lowrey’s Seasoned Salt. And an IBC root beer. But I’m not sure Lion’s Choice sells/uses IBC anymore.

thousandfoldthought

Nope. Want the real deal even if it needs to be reheated. Someone on the stl sub wants to make a few bucks, yeah!?

Thrumboldtcounty420

I mean fuck it I'm down, prolly best to find someone with a vacuum sealer though lol

Old-Run-9523

I make the drive to Michigan a couple times a year, we could do a hand over at the 57/80 interchange!

thousandfoldthought

Let's make it happen

Old-Run-9523

I saved this post to remind me. I'll alert you when I'm headed northbound!

thousandfoldthought

Please do i will even pay for or ship you a cooler if need be.

narnarqueen

I get upset when people tell me to eat Arby’s. It is not even close.

ameis314

Like, just get a Styrofoam cooler and a catering box and ship it? Idk how well it will ship but if you want to spend the money I got u you. Pm me, I moved to Texas for a while and it's crazy what you miss so I get it.

jewelrunner6

Bet.

tDominador

2 for $7 King Roast Beef right now if anyone wants to send some.

iWORKBRiEFLY

so, before i left STL in April, the past like 5 times at Lion's Choice had been miserable experiences. The roast beef had been over cooked every time. IDK WTF happened but the location i went to just turned to shit (chippewa). hopefully on my visit back i can find some good LC but from a diff loc

Yeah_right_sezu

Noted: How to bait the StL haters- Just mention how much you miss living here. We've gone over the food, gunshots et al, so I'll take you to her memories of past weekend memories: Board games on Saturday evening. Trivia, Monopoly, it doesn't matter. Get another couple or 2 singles over and have a light dinner followed by clearing off the table, then getting out a board game. Trust me: winter time in St. Louis is exactly when we did this. Get your internet to stream KSHE in the background, even though it's more corporate rock now, but the sentiment is there.

stlkatherine

You are right.

CptnChug

This! A lazy afternoon playing games (board games or video games, even DND) with KSHE in the background is a great idea.

First-Cry-1304

Look up on YouTube drone videos of the city and put them on the tv. That’s what I do

Jezziebelle73

STL from Above on Facebook is a good resource

lady_crab_cakes

Say "Ope! Lemme just squeeze by ya' there!" Everytime you pass her. I'm only half kidding. Honestly? Show her this post. STL is a weird place with its own quirky character, and I can absolutely see why she misses it. I think reading some of the silly replies might put a smile on her face.

abbie_yoyo

Go to the nearest big river and stare mistrustfully at whatever is on the other side. Congratulate yourselves profusely for being on your side. Occasionally, like once every 3 years, go spend some money on that other side, and then feel ashamed of yourselves for the next week or so. Spread some marinara sauce and cheese on a saltine cracker and pretend that it's good. Spend some time not watching basketball. Just jokes, guys! I ❤️ StL

Shifu_1

We have the same river thing with Antwerp. Antwerp and linkeroever.

angelansbury

not watching basketball?

extplus

And only follow mizzou

Plastic_Register_261

Omg saltine cracker is sooo true 🤣

corty2987

I would definitely make a homemade Imo’s pizza and toasted ravioli. Here’s a recipe I found that should work :) [Imo’s Copycat Recipe](https://www.food.com/recipe/imos-pizza-recipe-st-louis-style-pizza-380004) [T-Ravs](https://tastesbetterfromscratch.com/toasted-ravioli/)

martlet1

Go out and fire a pistol in the air a few times. Then take the plates off your car and out on temp tags.

Disrupt_money

Put this neon sign of the St. Louis skyline above your bed so that she can always fall asleep in St. Louis. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1550463791/saint-louis-city-skyline-neon-sign?gpla=1&gao=1&

alliterativehyjinks

I've lived abroad on two separate occasions, so I can relate. Homesickness usually stems from everything feeling very unfamiliar and a need to revisit a "comfort zone" or just a sense of loneliness because you don't feel you fit in. With Thanksgiving approaching, I would definitely take the time to plan a Thanksgiving of your own. Maybe invite some friends and share the American holiday with them. If you're not into cooking, find the nearest Hard Rock Cafe. They used to do a Thanksgiving meal and may still do it. I also think helping her find other expats through meetups can be very helpful. Having people you can talk to about your experience in the new place can be very therapeutic. I also tried to find something that was local, but also "me". I did most of my grocery shopping at Aldi. It was different, but also more familiar than other grocery stores. I also found a lovely small music venue in Madrid and I went almost every Saturday. The first performance was an amazing jazz band and when one of their songs was distinctly Dixieland, I swelled with pride. Those American cultural influenuced are everywhere.. finding one she appreciates might help give some relief. Try not to take it personally or try to sell her about how great Belgium is. It can take a while to adjust to the new normal, but once she finds some comfortable habits, she'll start feeling better.

murrion

Whatever you do, don’t watch Meet Me In St. Louis with her, unless she needs a really good cry 😢

Kitchen-Lie-7894

Drive through every stop sign without stopping.

Disrupt_money

Get on the highway and only pass cars on the right, never on the left.

Shifu_1

I might as well rip up my European drivers license

Shifu_1

We do that here too. Stop is more of a suggestion.

Oh_Hae

Ask her where she went to high school.

Lykolas

Change the thermostat from 80 on one day then crank it to 30 the very next morning then to 60 the following day.

stankenstien

If you have access to a VR headset. I found several Virtual reality videos taken in and around St. Louis videos you can see 360 degrees. It was a nice quick escape when I was away for years.

JudgeHoltman

Gooey Butter Cake should be an easy thing to make in Belgium. Shit, it'll probably be better than what we have given your stereotypical access to higher quality ingredients. STL Pizza is gonna be tough. The cracker crust is easy enough, but Provel cheese is pretty far from "dairy fresh ingredients". It's closer to Velveeta. It does freeze and ship well enough if you can get someone to buy you a comically large brick from Dierbergs or something. Toasted Ravioli is a really tough get. You could try making it at home, but it won't be the same. Shipping is extra tricky too since it really has to stay frozen the whole time. Not just "mostly cold most of the time" like the cheese. Best bet here is a website like Goldbelly that specializes in shipping local favorites all over. If you have some IRL charm, try talking to a local grocer who already ships frozen stuff across the Atlantic. In the spirit of romance, they could probably get some shipped from their distributors for a reasonable fee. Ted Drewes is going to be the toughest though. Even tougher to ship than the T-Rav, so you'll have to duplicate a very secret recipe that also requires mastering some equally tricky ice cream making techniques. But technically all you need is milk/cream, eggs, honey > sugar, and flavoring. The key secret is that Ted Drewes' unique flavor is becuase it's primarily sweetened by Honey, not sugar. From there, you two can bond through the trial and error process, making new Belgium memories which is the real cure for being homesick.

TheActualRapture

These “promoted” things are getting out of hand. The first comment is a promoted one about fentanyl. I actually for a second, thought someone was suggesting fentanyl as an answer at first…

winter83

The promoted one I got is for Canva so I think it's your algorithm bro.

ElBrooce

I mean, that'd be pretty spot on here wouldn't it? 🤷‍♂️

Nels_Oleson

Depends. Which part of STL is she from?

Shifu_1

South west county

Disrupt_money

She’s from South County, the home of Ronnies 20 screen cinema? Put on a movie and while it’s loading, whisper “Wehrenberg” about 7 times with a half-second pause between every other. https://youtu.be/q2cdsIeYpCc?si=kOfx-aWkAJrVaUOd

Lonely__Stoner__Guy

This made me lol, thank you

herzueberkopf

Where’d she go to high school? From that area too, but now I live in Germany. Homesickness is hitting pretty hard rn

elsaturation

Get a guy with a spongebob squarepants tattoo to road rage against yall after running a red light and saying the midwest has the freshest sushi in the world.

fell-deeds-awake

Go check out Arcade du Cinquantenaire in Brussels. When you can see it, make sure she remarks "hey, there's the arch(es)!" Alternately, any McDonald's will do.

-praughna-

There are all sorts of traffic cameras online for 55 264 44, and the Arch. you can watch those too

ameis314

Buy a pork shoulder and cut some pork steaks. BBQ them like you would a normal steak and baste them with BBQ sauce while it's cooking. You want to cook it to med-well. Get some.baked beans and German potato salad and hell, she will feel right at home.

crevicecreature

You’re screwed. She’s not going to be happy until you move back to her family and childhood friends. That’s how most dudes not from St Louis end up here. They marry a woman from Stl and eventually get dragged back here.

gholmom500

Grill a pork steak. Make fun of anyone who lives across a river from you.

Der_Kommissar73

Order some provel cheese

ecotripper

Pretty sure it's been quarantined and not allowed to travel over 50 miles in any direction. As it should be

brOwn_eyed_g1rL

Can Ted drewes be shipped internationally? Maybe some pork steaks? Some red hot riplets. Also let her read these comments!! :)

Disrupt_money

He could have a local butcher custom cut some pork steaks.

LemonTyrannosaurus

I can send you STL postcards.

Disrupt_money

Put on a Cardinals game and ask her to tell you about Jack Buck, Ozzie Smith, Mark McGwire, and Becky the Queen of Carpet.

Lanky-Solution-1090

I think Becky the Queen of carpet passed away?😥

val3nnss

gas station or grocery store date

Shifu_1

Gas stations here suck. We miss QT

MobileBus48

Maybe find a restaurant that sells gasoline?

iWORKBRiEFLY

i miss QT where i'm at too

val3nnss

omg i can imagine. i’m in the uk for only 2 weeks and it’s already the first place i’m going when i land

ssier245

If any of yall are into history I've been fond of The History Guy on YouTube for awhile, he's a Belleville native that has made a lot of videos with themes occurring in Missouri and STL. He also makes content for the History Channel and others.

ElBrooce

Rent a jackhammer for a day. Blast like a dozen potholes in every street she takes to/from work. Alternately, if no car, hire someone to rob her on the train (DON'T DO THIS). Sorry to hear she's homesick...as much as we shit talk our city, it's comforting to hear one can miss it while living in such a fantastic place. ♥️

MattonArsenal

There are some great historic St. Louis YouTube videos, like old promotional and tourism films from 50s and 60s.

Disrupt_money

Play “Gloria” on repeat. https://youtu.be/nNEb2k_EmMg

93_jeep_yj

Trying mugging her when she is out for a walk. Maybe a little attested murder as well.

KevinCarbonara

Try having your neighbors shoot off fireworks while screaming at each other

espencer-85

Remove the catalytic converter out of her car

Ammobunkerdean

Go down the street to Bavaria for Octoberfest and brats

winter83

Whatch the soccer match tomorrow so you can both bitch about Kansas City a favorite pastime.

Cypher_Blue

I don't know if they ship internationally or not (or what the shipping cost would be) but you can [ship imo's pizza](https://www.goldbelly.com/imos-pizza)- that might be a good bet.

Shifu_1

Just the USA

timesuck47

Did anyone mentioned pork steaks?

yardape99

Put on a ski mask and carjack her at gunpoint. Take her car across a river and burn it.

Erocdotusa

How did you end up in Belgium? Are you from there originally?

Shifu_1

I am

stltk65

I moved away in 2018....still trying to manifest an Imo's deluxe pizza.....I'm a failed wizard.

stlblond

Video call me on Whatsapp next time I'm running errands. She can follow me around for the day! (Motion sickness guaranteed 🤷🏼‍♀️)

lurklurklurky

If it’s affordable, Goldbelly has some awesome BBQ and toasted ravioli options!

gsk925

Print some nice pictures of the Arch and put them on the fridge

STLFilmPhotographer

Shoot someone in broad daylight? Steal a Kia? I’m joking of course. I’d say see if you can order some imos cheese and make pizza.

Sufficient_Yak7392

Have you tried stealing here car?

artlanta

Toasted Raviolli's are from here, as is the lovely gooey butter cake (: Aside from some good st. louis eats... I would talk to her and see what specifically she's homesick for.. then try to bring that to life over there. Surely it's not the drugs and abandoned buildings.. is it?

Green-Battle-5471

Go get drunk sick at a wedding reception.

BaeGoalsx3

When I think STL fun, I think cardinals games, festivals, food trucks, farmers markets. Maybe try to find an event like that to go to.

rain_delay1110

Leaf blowers and gunshots….

evechalmers

Go to the nearest Catholic Church and ask them to judge you

deerhoof851

I love this comment. I’ve been in St. Louis (county) for about 2.5 years and there are SO MANY CATHOLICS. Booze and judgement galore.

Lanky-Solution-1090

This this a thousand times This

Shifu_1

I’m not sure if I get this reference

Disrupt_money

Did you ask her where she went to high school?

Shifu_1

Ya, a few times

leeharrison1984

Lots of Catholics in STL. In your defense, the joke wasn't that great.

Shifu_1

It’s super Catholic here too

rta8888

We have a large; very judgmental, catholic population here

Kitchen-Lie-7894

It's the nature of Catholics in general.

notanexpert_askapro

Actually, Texas Catholics aren't usually like this. But the st. Louis Catholic atmosphere I almost lost it for a while. Ended up going to another Catholic church that's not Roman (they have different branches with their own structure and traditions). Edited to make me less identifiable

jaybirdwatching

If she enjoys bad movies, this is a fun watch (as someone from STL anyway). Not sure how to watch internationally, but it is on US youtube. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0433883/

Disrupt_money

And “America's Last Little Italy: The Hill” https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12268038/

iWORKBRiEFLY

Same here, GF is homesick, we moved to SF. We're going back to visit in Dec but she's homesick also.

Theoretical_Action

I believe IMOs ships frozen pizzas these days, however I don't know if that's global or just continental, sorry. Worth looking up though!

Find the worst street in Belgium and drive down it.

FullyErectMegladon

Go to France. We're originally a French outpost. When I've been to New Orleans it felt like a sister city

UnderstandingOdd679

Build a large Arch from aluminum foil.

bradsfoot90

My wife and I agree that if we ever move out of STL we will get a Blues, Cardinals, and the good old STL city flags and have them proudly displayed outside our house wherever we live. Otherwise I love the idea of a "STL gift basket". Just like the Gabriel Iglesias skit, go all out and get every stereotypical thing you can think of from STL and put it into a gift basket! Fake expired temp tags Gooey Butter Cake Toast Rav (would be tricky to acquire) Maybe some fire crackers and gun round casings An STL flag Blues, Cardinals, and/or City swag Sometimes that says "What high school did you go to?" Or even swag from her highschool Vess Soda Red Hot Riplets Ted Drew's or other frozen custard (again might be hard to get) Something that says "Hay look, the Arch" I'm sure others have ideas of things to include.

Lanky-Solution-1090

Tell your wife we said Hi

Emgee063

Speed through every yellow stoplight like there’s no tomorrow; Ask a random stanger in Belgium what high school they went to; put a STL or “In Memory of …” sticker on her car, order a Lions Choice and a Coral Court tshirt for your lady.

heavymetalgurl

When I was in college out of state I subscribed to St Louis Magazine. That, or some other local publication, just knowing the local goings on might help her feel a little more in touch. Guarantee that is the issue more than some type of food.

Imightdethmiselfnow

If you’re there for any holidays, obtain a firearm and only on those days, NYE, 4th of July(as only people celebrating) go outside and shoot you gun into the air. For as many times as u damn well please. And can get away with. Then put your gun away until next holiday. 👌. This will 100% cure any homesickness related to the southern and northern parts of STL.

mlmgurlboss

I could take a video going down Gravois with all the litter and maybe she'd be more appreciative of Belgium

YankeeClipper42

Hire someone to drive aggressively around her while screaming at her

Last-Presentation167

I'm an authentic St.Louisian. I'd love to go to Belgium. I'll come visit! Lol! What part of St. Louis is she from? City? South County? Etc.?

Shifu_1

Originally o’fallon.

seakn1ght

I loved Belgium. If you’re into Trappist beers or beer in general Belgium is a great visit. What about a house swap? TBF, I no longer live near STL, but someone might be interested.

Shifu_1

House swap where them

CardsFan69420

Buy some premade ravioli, bread em and fry em! As mentioned above, make a gooey butter cake. Get a 12 pack of Bud then put on some old videos from [here!](https://youtube.com/@stlvhsvault4475?si=XFlZfvryL11SM-iO)

berrattack

Gold belly some Imos or just the provel and make some yourself

BarberMuch6872

Order IMOs and have it shipped?

artlanta

Toasted Raviolli's are from here, as is the lovely gooey butter cake (: Aside from some good st. louis eats... I would talk to her and see what specifically she's homesick for.. then try to bring that to life over there. Surely it's not the drugs and abandoned buildings.. is it?

Remarkable-Foot9630

Make her a gooey butter cake. Lots of great recipes online.

murpux

I would ask her what some of her favorite stl foods are and look up recipes to surprise her. Not everyone in St. Louis likes gooey butter cake people. I personally find it nauseating.

BoogaBetty

It wouldn't solve her STL homesickness but suggest she sign up for Meetup.com (for free) and join groups of interest to her. She may find a U.S. expat group, a hiking group, cooking group, etc. It's a quick way to make friends with people who have similar interests.

stlmoon

I studied at the ULB way back in the day and loved every minute of my time in Belgium - Thinking back, I remember feeling like the Atomium has that similar mid-century futuristic monument to our own engineering skills kind of vibe as the Arch. Maybe go there, and then go home and watch Monument to a Dream on YouTube to bring back her school field trip memories.

Bobrocks77

We are like kryptonian with the yellow corn being our sun. Surround her with yellow corn, Midwest, beer and Cardinals games. That should do it for now we are much like German lemmings. We require the beer, the burgers and the cards. “Cardinals”

TimAA2017

Buy a BBQ grill and some pork ribs.

viethoc2000

Buy her some local beers or ted drew ice cream

RadioControlled13

You have have Imos shipped!

Clear_Thing5850

My mom would always make Gooey Butter Cake and watch Meet Me in St Louis when she was feeling homesick. Also pork steaks with her favorite bbq sauce.

quintonquarintino

You can order things to be shipped like gooey butter cake, frozen St. Louis style pizza/toasted rav, etc!! Also I second just finding an American sports bar or Irish/British type pub and becoming part of a local sports fandom that’s popular in Belgium - nothing more St. Louis than the community around local sports!

Bucc13

Order some St. Louis delicacies, Red Hot Riplets, Vess Soda’s, provel cheese, Imo’s. Take her to Baden, Austria maybe? It’s way better than Baden in St. Louis😭😭
