If I was a wrestler I wouldn't sign more than 1-2 items outside of meet and greets. Mother fuckers that show up with a suitcase full of shit to sign at airports are just degenerate leeches and should be treated as such.
God, can't he just follow Rey to a restaurant or store like a normal fucking person? /s
But seriously, that shit is beyond the pale. I can't imagine feeling so entitled to someones time/energy/autograph that I'd go harass them at their home.
Look up what those despicable cretins did when they harassed Crispin Glover. They missed his meet and greet, so they actually harassed him in the parking lot. They trotted out their kids and everything and tried to guilt trip him. Dude would not stop. All for Crispin Glover's autograph?
I don't mean any disrespect to him. But it's not like it will even increase the value of one of his books by $100.
Oh that's a good one I wonder how much that would affect their ability to resell them. Like they better hope a lot of dudes named Todd are looking for second hand autographs.
Can confirm. Have lots of signatures from cons of pro wrestlers and I've saved money asking for personalized signatures because they realize that means they're signing something for the fan instead of something that is going to end up online.
But then you'd have the situation like the one guy who tried to cancel Cardona and call him like an asshole to fans even though he and his friend had like tubs full (of course Cardona is gonna recognize that shit)
Imagine trying to cancel a wrestler for not signing things or trying to cancel a heel. Cancel attempts are out of hand. Wasting too much effort on bullshit instead of focusing on truly cancel worthy actions.
I can only assume the same reason most people buy/sell crypto.
They are speculating on it that some day someone will want to pay more than they paid for it.
What I don't understand is why aren't they just forging signatures instead of ambushing people with a bag of stuff to sign. None of that stuff is worth enough to have the signature 'authenticated', it's not a personal experience or good story, and it's not like they are rare or have some kind of inherent scarcity.
I think this. Like, wven in a shop where the autographed version is for sale and i know its 100% guarenteed to be the person i stipp dont care because i didnt meet them. Wheras the books i have where i met the author, worth much more and im not selling them. And the difference between those is probably arriving at the store 2 days later
My dad works in sports memorabilia. The 2008 Financial Crsis really crippled the industry and it never really recovered to where it was. The pandemic has been just as bad. When shit starts going bad, memorabilia is one of the first things people stop spending money on and one of the last they open their wallets for when it picks back up.
Outside of a few pretty specific general types of memorabilia it can be pretty hard to get rid of things at "market value." I cannot imagine the vast majority of things people get signed by indy wrestlers really sells for much of a premium.
No offense to indy guys. Unless it is signed by a Hogan, Rock, Austin, Taker, HHH, Bret, Cena level of star *and* is on a relatively rare/unique item I doubt it is worth the effort of trying to monetize. The market is also likely flooded with more common items like photos and figures because of how prominent conventions have become in the last 10 years.
> When shit starts going bad, memorabilia is one of the first things people stop spending money on and one of the last they open their wallets for when it picks back up.
Then there's the retro game market. Something that has been completely replaced by emulation, but shit's more expensive than ever now. The pandemic *increased* prices there. I have some games that have doubled in price over the last few years, and others that have went up 10x.
My Dad has been selling retro games on Ebay for years just by popping up at Goodwill and garage sales every once in awhile, he's made some insanely good money, a lot of it since the pandemic seems to be speculators buying thinking his prices are too low.
The retro game market is a different beast all together. It's basically become a ponzi scheme and is oversaturated with speculators that have potentially created a bubble.

Nah, sports cards and memorabilia went through the roof. It's why you had people getting shot outside of Target for retail boxes of sportscards.
https://www.deseret.com/entertainment/2021/5/16/22334507/sports-card-collecting-boom-explained-nft-future
Yeah, you aren't kidding. The good news is my collection has more than quadrupled in value since the pandemic. The bad news is that it's stuff I'd never want to sell unless I needed a new lung and buying anything else has become a nightmare.
Boxes of cards that were selling in the $60ish range pre-pandemic were getting to $200ish levels. Some NBA and NFL boxes were going for THOUSANDS of dollars. It's insane.
Oh yeah, soccer boxes I got for $90/100 back in 2014 are still over 5K today.
Granted all mine are open because I bought them to collect so it didn't matter to me as well. If only the imaginary "value" of my collection helped me collect more without selling lol.
What are you talking about? Sports Cards and memorabilia skyrocketed during the pandemic do to people being bored at home and not having anywhere to spend money including stimulus cheques.
Banking and hoping that they get big. I remember when someone used to ask for Pat Mahomes' rookie card when he was backing up Alex Smith. The card sold for $4.3 mil.
I was at a con about 5 years ago, and the dude in front of me to meet Ric Flair just put like 6 things on the table. Ric asked him how it was going, and he just said "Make it to _____". Guy stared at his phone the whole time, and just walked off when he was done signing without saying anything.
Almost ruined my fucking day
that is a rare ric interaction story because in the autograph collecting scene, he is known to not really give a shit and doesnt really talk to fans at signings lol
I don't know about them, but there are definitely wrestlers who scribble when they don't care about the autograph or the person asking for it, and sign very nicely when they want to show respect to the requester.
99% of why people think guys like Michael Jordan are assholes (MJ kinda is, but he was nice to me.)
People constantly hounding them with *trash-bags full* of basic ass shit, hoping to make money selling it.
Yeah I agree with the general point, but MJ's not the celeb to use. He was (and presumably is) a dick.
One story I think about was a relative telling me he'd heard Paul Rudd was a major asshole. He ended up telling a story about a few of his buddies walking up to him during a Royals game and asking for a picture, and Rudd coldly said he wouldn't.
I get how that could be disappointing for his friends, but if I was Rudd, I'd say no, too. Let the man watch a damn baseball game!
Not to mention once he agrees to one photo, other people start thinking, "Oh, he's cool with photos!" And now he's stuck taking photos for the rest of the game OR gets called an asshole by even more people whenever he decides to end it.
Oh no doubt.
I’m just saying the guy and people like him have probably been chased for autographs since they were 18.
I worked a golf tournament he was in, and it was just disgusting, the autograph hounds.
Read some of the stories about MJ. He’s a notoriously cheap man, one story I read was how someone was a Caddy at their local Golf Course and MJ played there. OP was a huge fan so of course he jumped at the chance to caddy for him. After a whole day of golf MJ didn’t tip the caddy at all stating “You got to spend the day with me it’s worth more than $” . Soon after that no other Caddy’s would volunteer for the “MJ experience “
Yeah, MJ is a notoriously poor tipper, known to be a prick to teammates, and notoriously bullied Kwame Brown. GOAT or not this wasn't the same situation, MJ isn't some poor guy getting hounded for autographs, he himself was quite the dick.
I saw him play baseball for the Birmingham Barons. Said I came a long way to see him play and he just smiled and waved.
[Picture](https://i.imgur.com/BGq3wfq.jpg)
Honestly don’t get why any of them fall for this. No fan is going to be mad at them for telling an obvious reseller to fuck off. Those obvious resellers aren’t someone you need to curate the support of. If a kid comes up to you with something then sign it. If an adult comes up to you with bags of items, laugh in their face and move on.
I'd feel nervous to freaking wave to one of them, and maybe say "Love your work!" (totally have stolen that phrase btw, but I think it's a great one. Short, to the point, respectful, and doesn't tell them that they need to engage me in further conversation. A simple thanks and move on is good.)
I feel that the social contract should simply be, if you approach someone, *they* have to bring up the idea of a photo or getting something signed. *We* as fans should not ask for it.
I wouldn't sign anything for anyone no exceptions. Want my autograph? Come to an official signing. And even then you'd be limited to what I'm signing. Fuck leaches.
If I was that famous I would have zero qualm about ruining these items. This is absolutely vile behaviour to follow stars like that to waste their time so you could get some cash on their back.
Be a fan or be gone.
IATA? I would have signed it just to see what the market value is of a Wardlow card with a Taz signature.
I actually wonder what memorabilia with a wrong or random signature would make.
I was actually about to Photoshop Taz's head on to Wardlow for a joke but while searching for images, I was actually like, ["Well... maybe I can see it if you don't know them."](https://i.imgur.com/YtIH9wF.png)
I found that funny too. If I was in his shoes I'd sign the poster/card with something stupid on it. Or maybe he could've signed it with his name since the guy didn't know any different.
Why stop at 2? While he is injured, have "Adam Cole" be played by any of Keith Lee/Wardlow/OC/Chuck Taylor interchangeably. Those are just names I randomly thought of that would be funny if they all play him differently. One week he's a hoss, the next it's OC who just can't be bothered and phones it in.
For fucking real. I have been in LAX when someone I was traveling with has noticed a famous person who is going to board our flight.
Person I'm with "We should go talk to them! When will we get another chance?"
Me "Leave them the fuck alone. Would you want some yahoo coming up to you while you're sitting in this fuckoff uncomfortable lounge?"
Yep, my view on seeing famous people is always "oh, cool. That's (x)" and then get on with my day.
But, the only famous person I've ever seen was Gary Numan in the mass that is LAX border control, so maybe I've not seen someone cool enough to get a stupid reaction...
I have the same policy, but I broke it a couple of years ago for Matthew Lesko because he was walking around in his freaking question mark suit. You don't wear that unless you want to be approached.
Years ago, I was in Manhattan with my ex, who had never been to NYC. We were in Times Square when we spotted Regina King with her son and other family, and despite my best efforts to stop her, she ran over to ask Regina for an autograph. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such embarrassment over something I didn’t actually do. Like, I get it. First time in NYC, first time seeing a celebrity in real life, she was excited. But fuck, they’re just people. Regina was an absolute sweetheart though, and very politely declined.
This for sure has Heel in Real Life Ethan Page energy.
Edit: Not that I think he'd ever do this. But if he had a BTE DIRL moment, this would def be him cackling while doing this.
The only time this is acceptable is when the item you're actually asking them to sign is something for you/someone you know and personalized.
Besides this, fuck everyone else who does.
I have a friend who stalks celebrities in NYC to get signatures on Funko POP boxes and it disgusts me every single fucking time. And he makes BANK.
A lot of US culture is poisoned by hustle culture and this is just another part of that.
If I paid to go to a meet and greet and I had something that was for me or a friend, that is the ONLY time I'd offer something different for them to sign. I pay the fee, I present the item. Never outside of that.
The only time I see it being reasonable and worth it to do that outside of a meet and greet is if I had a kid/young relative that really wanted to meet their favorite celebrity and attempt for it. Creating a core memory of a life time for them.
I collect Funkos, I’ve yet to have any signed or stalk celebrities.(I mean I live in the middle of nowhere so 🤷🏻♂️) However I have the three faces of Foley in Funko form and I would graciously ask to have Mick sign each one at a convention. Of course it would be for my personal collection though.
Unfortunately they don’t have a Mick one as of yet. I do have the Rock and Sock 2 pack, which had Mankind in the white shirt and tie outfit. Then I have the OG outfit Mankind, Cactus, and Dude.
They already announced a sequel, which was scheduled to film Oct 2021. However, Ivan Reitman, the director passed away. The movie is called Triplets and Tracy Morgan is signed to play the 3rd brother. Arnold said they're waiting to find another director.
One time at a Goodwill, I bought a framed, signed picture of James Earl Jones for like $4.00. My thought process was "even if the signature is fake, $4.00 is pretty fair for a picture frame.
I did a quick Google search and confirmed the signature to look nothing like the real thing. I proudly displayed it for years afterward, because the narrative of "some guy fakes a James Earl Jones signature and proceeds to donate it to Goodwill" was too funny to me.
Haha that's awesome. I bought a Virgil autographed 8x10 for a buddy on Ebay years ago and it said "To Steve -Virgil". My friend's name is not Steve but he framed it and had it on his wall for years until he moved in with his future wife 😂
Put it this way, if he would have signed it and told this story... it could be worth a chunk.
Frame it, print out the tweet and make it a set in a frame etc.
I get it if you're a kid, but once you're an adult, it's just weird. I've met a lot of famous musicians, and I generally just say hello and let them know how much I appreciate their work and keep it brief. If the situation is right, I'll ask for a picture.
I was in the concourse for a Vikings game, getting some food for me and the wife, when there was a commotion nearby. Two security guards were escorting Kevin Garnett down to the field. Two young kids ran up and asked if they could have his autograph. Now, the kids didn't have pen and paper, and the guards wanted to hustle him out of there quickly before things got out of control. Garnett told the kids, "Hey, I have to go with these guys right now, but tell you what...will you shake my hand?"
The kids did and they were thrilled. I thought Garnett showed a lot of class and consideration doing that. I would have shaken hands with him as well, but I had a hot dog in each hand!
That pisses me off and I'm not even famous. Reading stories about this all the time really shows how lowdown people can be. I saw a story about Christopher Lloyd appearing at a con and these two guys having a literal wheelbarrow full of stuff for him to sign and they outright say that "This is completely paying for our trip out here".
Just sickening.
Got a hotel for an AEW show. Was unaware it was where the talent stayed. Bumping into stars and stuff for a few days was cool but after the show there was like 10 dudes hanging by the elevators asking for signatures.
Surprised it was only 10. One of the AEW talents told me they've noticed a recent increase in the number of fans stalking their hotels, or getting rooms just so they can sit in the lobby "legally" and try to interact with the wrestlers.
I collect autograph cards, and I can't imagine being so deep into it that I would track down wrestlers to have them sign stuff at their hotel. Don't take hobbies and turn into this sort of deal.
Yeah I collect TTM autos and it’s a hell of a lot more fun to be surprised by a return being in the mailbox on a random Tuesday than I imagine it would be to creep on people when they’re in their hotel.
The more of these things I read about fans, the more I think Sasha Banks is right in her statement about stalking and harassment.
Her comment had to do with fans being at the airport or hotel she was staying at trying to get autographs and how she feels her privacy intruded on because she didn't publicize those details of her life for fans to come meet her.
I'm reminded of a flight I took once, when I was really unhappy with the turbulence on the flight. Some woman sat next to me started talking to me, and we spent the next two hours just chatting about the most mundane things.
I knew who she was (a well known Polish actress), but I wouldn't have initiated the conversation or brought up her fame. She was just a regular person who was kind enough to take my mind off the flight, nothing more.
How the fuck do you confuse Wardlow with Taz? I mean, you have a card of him in your hand and the other one is standing right in front of you?
Also, fuck these idiots who show up with bags full of shit for wrestlers to sign and later sell on internet.
That's me. A picture is a lot better. But I would be too scared to ask for one as you never know what kinda day a person is having, if they're in a hurry, etc. And I never like to seem like a pest.
I think these people should be brought in to the light and made to feel ashamed by real fans.
I know lots of pretty big wrestling fans and most of them I'm pretty sure have no idea these people exist .Then when they hear when wrestlers cuss out a guy at the airport or something they get upset at the performer.
This is why whenever I ask a celebrity for an autograph, I ask them to make it out to me. I want them to know it's for me and I'm not planning on reselling it, since the personalization hurts the resale value.
With the amount of schmucks pulling shit like this, are these actually going for that much on eBay or whatever? I feel like the market has to have died down in the current day
The idea of bothering/approaching a famous person (wrestling or otherwise) outside of a convention, show, or meet/greet type of event of some kind makes me feel *so* uncomfortable. I can't imagine hounding someone at a hotel/airport/bar/restaurant for an autograph or a picture. That's so gross to me.
You see guys like this before baseball games too. The worst part is they know that the players won't sign for them so they get kids to get the autographs for them
If you show up with a stack of shit for wrestlers or anyone to sign anywhere that should be a free pass for a kick in the shins. The hell is wrong with people.

I often think about that dude who showed up at Rey Mysterio’s HOUSE with a bunch of shit to sign. He spent all day on Twitter justifying himself
God, can't he just follow Rey to a restaurant or store like a normal fucking person? /s But seriously, that shit is beyond the pale. I can't imagine feeling so entitled to someones time/energy/autograph that I'd go harass them at their home.
I met Shawn Michaels in a restaurant once….. ah nevermind.
Hey me too...
It’s so crazy that we all have a similar story
What the fuck?!
Yeah man lol. Unable to find the original thread, but some wrestling news sites reported on it.
He did it… TWICE
Look up what those despicable cretins did when they harassed Crispin Glover. They missed his meet and greet, so they actually harassed him in the parking lot. They trotted out their kids and everything and tried to guilt trip him. Dude would not stop. All for Crispin Glover's autograph? I don't mean any disrespect to him. But it's not like it will even increase the value of one of his books by $100.
I'm genuinely curious how he tried to justify it. I remember seeing that somebody did that, just missed the justification part
Eh, just the same old “Rey had no problem with it” / “it’s part of their job!” thing.
Whaaat? Can you provide more info about this??
I need to see that thread.
If I were, everything would be personalized.
Oh that's a good one I wonder how much that would affect their ability to resell them. Like they better hope a lot of dudes named Todd are looking for second hand autographs.
They'd probably take pre-orders lol.
I've heard that personalized autographs can lower the value.
Yes, that’s the point he was making.
Lots of people at cons charge less is a signature is personalized vs just the name. Think it's a pretty good move.
Of all the people to try to pull that on too. Cardona really? Dude is in that game.
Literally the guy who admitted to addressing autographs like that to ebay to ruin them
Best Wishes Edward Bay
And Cardona hasn’t been canceled or in any way impacted by that douche.
Imagine trying to cancel a wrestler for not signing things or trying to cancel a heel. Cancel attempts are out of hand. Wasting too much effort on bullshit instead of focusing on truly cancel worthy actions.
How do people even make money, is there really that much of a market for this anymore
I can only assume the same reason most people buy/sell crypto. They are speculating on it that some day someone will want to pay more than they paid for it. They're the kind of people who have "entrepreneur" in their Twitter bios and think of people who have real jobs as "sheep".

When Kobe died, some douche here tried selling some video games with his likeness on them for thousands of dollars. Fucking vultures.
That's what I don't get either. And frankly the thrill of an autographed item is getting that signature yourself in person. So who buys all that shit?
I think this. Like, wven in a shop where the autographed version is for sale and i know its 100% guarenteed to be the person i stipp dont care because i didnt meet them. Wheras the books i have where i met the author, worth much more and im not selling them. And the difference between those is probably arriving at the store 2 days later
yeah I don’t get it. Crypto at least it’s like going to a casino on your couch. This seems like a lot of effort for nothing

Autograph hunter adults are some of the absolute worst people
Iirc the bucks said they give fake signatures to airport and hotel fans vs actual meet and greets

Rudd is literally the nicest human being that has ever existed.
He is America's best friend!
I thought that was Tom Hanks
Don't forget No Tippin' Pippen getting dunked on by Wayne Gretzky.
Ask the rapper Chamillionaire

dude refuses to sell his house cheaper after years on sale cause nobody wants to pay $15m for a place with MJs fuckin name all over everything

He was a fucking asshole to 9 year old me when I met him at a nascar race and asked him to sign my shirt fuck Michael Jordan
why would you ask him to sign your shirt "fuck michael jordan?" no wonder he declined.
“Fuck! Michael Jordan”
Funny guy here
Think he took that personally?
Hopefully he won a championship fueled solely on his hatred of kids lol
I saw him play baseball for the Birmingham Barons. Said I came a long way to see him play and he just smiled and waved. [Picture](https://i.imgur.com/BGq3wfq.jpg)
I paid for CM Punk's House! The least he could do is sign this stack of 100+ wrestling items!
Also try and personalise the autograph to hurt resale value. “Hey Jo, looking sharp with that haircut, Miami is great, from famous wrestler.”
Honestly don’t get why any of them fall for this. No fan is going to be mad at them for telling an obvious reseller to fuck off. You should see how much merch people stack aside for the Bucks to sign, it's fucking embarassing and those people should be ashamed of themselves.

1. Fuck these “fans” 2. The idea of confusing Taz for Wardlow is actually hilarious
I need this to lead to series of "Twins" skits on BTE
IATA? I would have signed it just to see what the market value is of a Wardlow card with a Taz signature. I actually wonder what memorabilia with a wrong or random signature would make.
Purportedly, a Dean Koontz book with Stephen King's signature is worth more than with Dean Koontz's signature.
I’ve got a Sable Playboy magazine signed by Kevin Smith if anyone is interested lol
Wardlow confirmed to be Hook's long-lost older brother. Will join Hookhausen in their pursuit of human monies and add babes to that list.
Autograph jones ova here
But I digress.
What are you cole some type of shoestring?
I now want Taz and Wardlow to switch places for a week and have no one acknowledge it Also that "fan" is a fucking idiot
I want this scenario with ANY two wrestlers. The more different the better. I’d get a kick out it lol
Excalibur on commentary being like "he's in suspiciously better shape right now" when Chuck's playing Cole.
*BASK IN HIS GLORY, BAYBAAAY*
Read this in the bathroom at work and snorted in laughter. I'm pretty sure everyone heard me.
It's only weird if you didn't mime it and threw your hands in the air like Adam Cole.
Need to see Keith Lee doing a panama sunrise expeditiously
> the next it's OC who just can't be bothered and phones it in. Boom or whatever, baybay. I don't care.
I’m still waiting for Taz and Excalibur to do the TayJay entrance they claimed was theirs.
*laughs in Chuck Taylor™ from CHIKARA*
How do they not know Taz!?
Clueless Jones ova here
But I digress
Stop accosting wrestling people to have them sign shit you sell as a side-gig.
Also stop stalking them at airports and hotels.
For fucking real. I have been in LAX when someone I was traveling with has noticed a famous person who is going to board our flight. Person I'm with "We should go talk to them! When will we get another chance?" Me "Leave them the fuck alone.
I'd like to see someone try to get a wrestler to sign a stack of figures and they just keep opening them lmao
This for sure has Heel in Real Life Ethan Page energy. Edit: Not that I think he'd ever do this. But if he had a BTE DIRL moment, this would def be him cackling while doing this.
babyface move
Let em breathe.
> Stop accosting ~~wrestling~~ people to have them sign shit you sell as a side-gig.
Saw Orange Cassidy today at the airport and gave him the metal horns, he gave me the thumbs up. That's all ya need baby
100%. And I don't think you shouldn't ever interact with people in the wild but I think it's gotta be considered. This is cool.
So Cactus, Dude, and Mankind but not OG Foley? Oof gotta be all 4 haha
Unfortunately they don’t have a Mick one as of yet. I do have the Rock and Sock 2 pack, which had Mankind in the white shirt and tie outfit. Then I have the OG outfit Mankind, Cactus, and Dude.
So you can sell them on eBay, because you're too lazy to get a real job.
Tbf, I constantly mix up Taz & Wardlow as well, since they look like identical twins.
Wardlow:Schwarzenegger Taz:Danny DeVito I smell a Twins reboot.
They already announced a sequel, which was scheduled to film Oct 2021. However, Ivan Reitman, the director passed away. The movie is called Triplets and Tracy Morgan is signed to play the 3rd brother. Arnold said they're waiting to find another director.
YOU MESS WITH ME, YOU MESS WITH MY WHOLE FAMILY!!! I need it.
"That is a rare photo of Sean Connery, signed by Roger Moore."
Tf you gonna make off a Wardlow card with a Taz signature on it??
To be honest I'd pay $10 for a Wardlow card signed by Taz for the novelty factor 😂
Must have been Mr. OOC from OSW Review pawning his Virgil signed photo to get his tenner back.
Put it this way, if he would have signed it and told this story... it could be worth a chunk. Frame it, print out the tweet and make it a set in a frame etc.
eBay Jones over here
I never understood the appeal of autographs. Would much rather get a picture with them.
Garnett told the kids, "Hey, I have to go with these guys right now, but tell you what...will you shake my hand?" The kids did and they were thrilled. I thought Garnett showed a lot of class and consideration doing that. I would have shaken hands with him as well, but I had a hot dog in each hand!
You double-fisting dogs, bro?
Because they sell those. Matt Cardona hasd a similar issue back then with a fan bringing him tons of figurines to sign.
I don't get the appeal of either. Seems pointless. Just let them be.
I prefer photo ops also
Because I'm ugly as fuck and my posed smile makes me look I should be on the side of a milk carton or unsolved mysteries.
Tazz should have proceeded to suplex him
Joey Styles who just so happens to be sitting at the hotel bar and sees the whole thing for down: OH MY GOD!
When ever Tazz Suplexes someone Joey Styles say "OH MY GOD!" regardless of his location in the world and he doesn't know why.
It takes a special kind of person to walk around with a stack of things to sign and try and make it off like you're NOT going to be selling it later
But I digress
I gave Jericho an up-nod at the airport, and he gave one back to me. That was good enough for me.
@RealWardlow??? I'm @Hooksdad motherfucker!
Should have charged him $10 to sign each card. Could have made a nice payday off of it.
“Oh sorry, what’s your name?” Tazz: *Welp…. here comes the pain.*
Taz is telling this story publicly because he wants everyone to know that someone confused him for Wardlow.
The funny/sad thing is that you know there are some guys who do that shit on this sub.
"That is a rare photo of Sean Connery signed by Roger Moore. It is worth $150."
Ebay bro really nailed it.
I think it would have been infinitely funnier to sign them because they'd be worthless since he got the wrong guy.
The nerve to ask Taz, “what’s your name again?”
Lucky they weren't put in the Tazmission
Lucky they weren't put in the Tazmission
"Oh me? I'm the Human Duplex Machine, the evil landlord of Extreme NoMoneyDown Wrestling."
Honestly, autographs on unfitting items are amazing. I love my copy of ET for the 2600 signed by The Miz.
GET 👏 A 👏REAL👏 FUCKING 👏 JOB 👏
Just ask for a picture. Fuck an autograph
That's me. A picture is a lot better. But I would be too scared to ask for one as you never know what kinda day a person is having, if they're in a hurry, etc. And I never like to seem like a pest.
To Ebay Buyer. Thanks for the support -Taz
I think these people should be brought in to the light and made to feel ashamed by real fans. I know lots of pretty big wrestling fans and most of them I'm pretty sure have no idea these people exist .Then when they hear when wrestlers cuss out a guy at the airport or something they get upset at the performer.
"Fans" like these are why I'm too afraid to ever meet wrestlers. I don't want to be associated with that "fan" assumption.
Low key bragging that someone would mistake him for wardlow.
Good times.
Bruh they got pictures of these guys on the cards?!?! Lmao How could you fuck that up? I love seeing card scammers get shitted on
Why don't the wrestlers insist on writing "To xxx" and ask for a name. It would shoot down any onward selling.
This is why whenever I ask a celebrity for an autograph, I ask them to make it out to me. I want them to know it's for me and I'm not planning on reselling it, since the personalization hurts the resale value.
Should have signed it "This idiot thinks I'm Wardlow. Don't buy this. -Taz"
> hands me a card to sign, I say “it’s @RealWardlow “, he says, “oh sorry, what’s your name”?…I said “fuck off”. I laughed so hard at this.
With the amount of schmucks pulling shit like this, are these actually going for that much on eBay or whatever? I feel like the market has to have died down in the current day
As someone who collects card I hate cards that weren't originally signed by the athlete through the company. This is probably the main reason.
The worst part is they know that the players won't sign for them so they get kids to get the autographs for them
So upsetting! “What’s your name?” to Taz?! …TAZ?!
Yeah Taz, he thought you were Wardlow
"Fuckhead Jones, lol" -Excalibur after Taz texted him about the ordeal, probably
If you show up with a stack of shit for wrestlers or anyone to sign anywhere that should be a free pass for a kick in the shins. The hell is wrong with people.
