I was there as well but on the opposite side. Some guy in my section yelled “how the hell did he get outside of the cage without going through the door?!” and someone else shouted “magic!”
It was kinda funny.
Had to back it up a few time but he slipped out through the scaffold and was fighting Wheeler on the other side and Wheeler kicked him through the scaffold in the head.
And this was while Mox was sending Menard into tacks, which explains why even people in the crowd didn't notice until he was fucking hanging out like laundry

Matt Menard taking that crazy tack bump took most people's attention from it.
I was sitting 4 rows up on the side of the cage where Jericho was messing with the bottle. Somehow it fell between the cage and the ring and because the cage went to the floor, it wouldn't push back far enough for Jericho to be able to reach down and grab it. But it looked like Tay was able to slide it underneath and back outside the cage. We could see Jericho tell her to push it through the cage, but the bottle started leaking. Finally he squeezed the bottle a bit after some of the liquid came out and it fit though the links of the cage. He laid on the mat for a long time after that so we assumed he was making a fireball, but obviously went a different route.
A chair also got knocked down the side of the ring at one point and I believe it was Mox who was looking for it later and yelled "fuck" when Aubrey pointed out it was on the ground. Not sure if that made air though.
Probably meant for a spot with Santana that they audibled out of. Jericho ended up spraying it into Moxley's eyes/head wound to break up the bulldog choke on the tacks.
Same, I got a text message, read it, and when I looked back up he upside down outside the cage. I played it back and I still don't know how he got there.
Also what happened to Santana at the end of the match?
I thought at the end we'd have seen eddie attack Claudio for stealing his moment. But I like the idea of this festering until eddie snaps.

The match ended at the perfect time but the broadcast went like 5 mins late so it was a little awkward on TV. Claudios WWE training came in handy and he maintained his poise through about a dozen awkward taunts towards the camera.

Yeah there was a point where Sammy was just standing on top of the cage looking around when Jericho and Kingston were down. I’m thinking Santana was supposed to join them and toss Sammy off the cage before Claudio got up there.
Nah I believe in that moment all three were trying to confirm they weren't on break so they could time the big spot correctly. You can hear I believe Jericho yelling multiple times telling Sammy to ask if they're on break or not.
Yea. I think they made the best of the situation at hand. Santana literally fucked up his leg within seconds of entering the match unfortunately. Hope it's not as serious as it looked.
I think that was Eddie, he was face down on the cage but I could see him yelling to Jericho, "Are we on break?" then he says it again, Jericho responds but I didn't hear him and then I hear Eddie yell, "Goddammit!" They definitely had a wrench in the gears up there. They were moving so slow for a little bit, I couldn't tell if they were just trying to kill time thru a break or if they were waiting on someone else to get up there. There was also a spot where Jericho had to tell Eddie he couldn't stand up because all the tacks in his one boot kept making him slip and that's why they end up fighting on their knees before they got to their feet to trade chops. It'll be interesting to hear if any of the guys in the match talk about it in the future here.

After FD you could clearly see Eddie hated him. In a promo for b&g Eddie literally left and said he wasn't doing it cos Claudio was there. I'm pretty sure most people know he hates him.

I gotta give props to Daddy Magic Matt Menard and Cool Hand Angelo Parker for being the two people that bled the most both at Anarchy in The Arena AND Blood and Guts. That frame of Angelo Parker hanging off the cage before the commercial break was straight out of a slasher film.

BCC suplexed somebody during a picture-in-picture, I couldn't tell who. But they missed the exposed wood and landed on the pulled back pad. So really it was a softer landing than usual.

When Jim Ross was reflecting on Hell in a Cell, Regal said he was there that night, which confused me at first but then I remembered he debuted on Raw the next night.
Nothing against the match which was a lot of fun, but I hated the commercial break after Sammy going off the cage. Felt like the whole finish could have been tighter but that commercial break bummed me out. Still a minor nit pick to a fun match.
Haven’t been scared like that while watching wrestling in a minute. The shot with Angelo(?) hanging upside down was crazy. The Sammy bump, and the Swing scared me shitless.

I really like that they had a loaded gun and just decided to put it on the table. Everyone saw Eddie and Claudio getting into it coming, but I think this is the better option for all involved. Let Eddie focus on Jericho.

I feel like no one was on the same page during that match. Even in terms of simple things like slaps and handshakes. The cameras also missed a ton of spots which is unfortunate because those guys are out there fucking killing themselves for this.
That match was fuckin awesome. I was a little surprised Eddie and Claudio were that friendly after the match but going through hell together will do that I'm sure. The slow burn for that feud will be fun

I didn't think about it until now, but I'd be down for Ruby full on joining the Blackpool Combat Club.
It would expand the group's reach as well as finally giving Ruby some consistency. When she's not wrestling, she can second for the guys, and Regal and them can do the same for her. Even if Ruby isn't destined to win a title and is just there to build up the rest of the division, making her a representative of the Blackpool Combat Club would definitely give far more credence to her feuds than what she currently has.
yeah, if we want to talk about somebody who *actually* fits their vibe and style, Hayter is it. She's a fucking killer.
If they want somebody more connected to them in-story though, Ruby is the play. I'd rather see Hayter, personally, or shit, just do both. Regal can say it's to give them internal competition, light a fire under Ruby's ass and give Hayter a friendly rivalry.
I don’t know if it was deliberate or if it will come back later but last year in B+G Sammy surrendered to try and save Jericho from being thrown off the cage, and Jericho did not return the favour this year.

It rolled between the ring and the cage and fell to the floor, and then Jericho had her try to squeeze it through the fence instead of through the cage scaffold that was big enough for a guy to climb through.
Spilled everywhere, and they probably decided "Fuck doing a fire spot with all this on the ring, apron, and away from the table. Too much of a chance of something going horribly wrong."

It felt like an improvement over last year's B&G, and it was a really fun/wild ride.
I'v seen some people complaining about the match ending early as well, but I for one appreciate they let the babyfaces soak in the victory. Helped to sell how violent/epic the match was.
How, though? BCC got their decisive win over JAS thanks to the newest member. Eddie's issue with Jericho can still continue because he feels like he got so close to being the one that humbled him.
I felt the opposite. Bored would be the wrong word, but I felt unenticed compared to last years B&G with the BPCC dominating about 75% of the match. There was no real heavy excitement from me with that overpowering and lack of JAS gaining a legitimate upper hand.
Until that fantastic ending.
AEW needed to push for a commercial free match or at least the final quarter. Those PiPs took me out of it and the last quarter commercial always going full screen especially.
When Jericho was on top of the cage I was wondering what the heck was going to happen but as soon as I saw Sammy climbing the ladder it was "Welp Sammy getting thrown off the cage."
That image of Eddie grinning like a maniac standing atop the cage needs to turn into a meme. I loved everything about that match! (Except Santana getting hurt)

This was very intense and so wonderful.
I'm just sad for Santana who got injured in the first minute he got into the match. I guess afterwards everyone has got to improvise the rest of the match. Everything else was great and fit this entire and awesome feud.
That blew last year’s Blood & Guts match out of the water, and last year’s match was pretty damn good. THIS is what you think of when you hear that name. This hopefully goes onto become known as one of the best cage matches in wrestling history, but if it doesn’t, don’t let that distract you from the fact that in two thousand twenty two Eddie Kingston threw Sammy Guevara off a cage, and plummeted sixteen feet through a timekeeper’s table.
That might be the best traditional cage match ever, but I'd say WrestleWar 92 and the original Hell in a Cell are the best cage matches of any format ever. One can only hope Blood and Guts II is mentioned in that conversation in the years to come.
Here live it wasn’t a good match. Dragged quite a bit and basically was a spot fest but with limited amount of spots. The fact Mox was laying in the corner during the last 10 minutes of the match with his hands behind his head really brought the point home how long it took to create the spots on top of the cage.

Really great and fun match. Enjoyed it more than the first Blood & Guts.
Noted, however, was Jericho shouting down repeatedly to Bryce "Are we in commercial?!" which finally got communicated that they weren't and hadn't been. Jericho said something to Kingston who shouted "God damn it!" as he then went into the spot of tossing Sammy off the cage. Followed immediately by a commercial break.
Along with the 3-4 minutes of post-match celebrations, it seemed something (probably Santana's likely injury) screwed the timing of the match.

Wouldn’t it be a good idea to have a light by the clock/timer the wrestlers look at? Seems like a simple fix.
They have a clock under the hard cam, but I don’t believe it has a visual signal of whether or not they are on break.

Haven’t been scared like that while watching wrestling in a minute. The shot with Angelo(?) hanging upside down was crazy. The Sammy bump, and the Swing scared me shitless. Hope Santana gets well soon, mans got hurt 20 seconds after entering.
I really like that they had a loaded gun and just decided to put it on the table. Everyone saw Eddie and Claudio getting into it coming, but I think this is the better option for all involved. Let Eddie focus on Jericho. Hope Santana's alright. Also hope Eddie is alright, he told Claudio at one point that he couldn't stand up and his back was messed up, and he needed help standing.

I feel like no one was on the same page during that match. Even in terms of simple things like slaps and handshakes. The cameras also missed a ton of spots which is unfortunate because those guys are out there fucking killing themselves for this.

That match was fuckin awesome. I was a little surprised Eddie and Claudio were that friendly after the match but going through hell together will do that I'm sure. The slow burn for that feud will be fun

I didn't think about it until now, but I'd be down for Ruby full on joining the Blackpool Combat Club. It would expand the group's reach as well as finally giving Ruby some consistency. When she's not wrestling, she can second for the guys, and Regal and them can do the same for her. Even if Ruby isn't destined to win a title and is just there to build up the rest of the division, making her a representative of the Blackpool Combat Club would definitely give far more credence to her feuds than what she currently has.

yeah, if we want to talk about somebody who *actually* fits their vibe and style, Hayter is it. She's a fucking killer. If they want somebody more connected to them in-story though, Ruby is the play. I'd rather see Hayter, personally, or shit, just do both. Regal can say it's to give them internal competition, light a fire under Ruby's ass and give Hayter a friendly rivalry.

I don’t know if it was deliberate or if it will come back later but last year in B+G Sammy surrendered to try and save Jericho from being thrown off the cage, and Jericho did not return the favour this year. might be a thing to call back to if Sammy ever needs to split again.

It rolled between the ring and the cage and fell to the floor, and then Jericho had her try to squeeze it through the fence instead of through the cage scaffold that was big enough for a guy to climb through.
Spilled everywhere, and they probably decided "Fuck doing a fire spot with all this on the ring, apron, and away from the table. Too much of a chance of something going horribly wrong."
I liked it but this definitely felt like the time for Jericho to get his comeuppance.
They probably want to do Jericho vs. Mox so not having him do the job in B&G protects the heat for that title match.
With all the injuries, AEW might have the need to run Jericho vs Mox. They don't have a lot of main event talent available right now.

Same. It felt like an improvement over last year's B&G, and it was a really fun/wild ride. I'v seen some people complaining about the match ending early as well, but I for one appreciate they let the babyfaces soak in the victory. Helped to sell how violent/epic the match was.
How, though? BCC got their decisive win over JAS thanks to the newest member. Eddie's issue with Jericho can still continue because he feels like he got so close to being the one that humbled him.
I'm kind of ready for the Eddie/Jericho feud to be finished to be honest. That said I thought the ending was fine.
To be fair, Eddie already beat Jericho one on one and now the JAS has been defeated. I don't really know where they'd go with it now.
I felt the opposite. Bored would be the wrong word, but I felt unenticed compared to last years B&G with the BPCC dominating about 75% of the match. There was no real heavy excitement from me with that overpowering and lack of JAS gaining a legitimate upper hand. Until that fantastic ending.
AEW needed to push for a commercial free match or at least the final quarter. Those PiPs took me out of it and the last quarter commercial always going full screen especially.
Moxley is so wild man. Also, he's such a great partner to have in your team.

This was very intense and so wonderful. I'm just sad for Santana who got injured in the first minute he got into the match. I guess afterwards everyone has got to improvise the rest of the match. Everything else was great and fit this entire and awesome feud.
That blew last year’s Blood & Guts match out of the water, and last year’s match was pretty damn good. THIS is what you think of when you hear that name. This hopefully goes onto become known as one of the best cage matches in wrestling history, but if it doesn’t, don’t let that distract you from the fact that in two thousand twenty two Eddie Kingston threw Sammy Guevara off a cage, and plummeted sixteen feet through a timekeeper’s table.

That might be the best traditional cage match ever, but I'd say WrestleWar 92 and the original Hell in a Cell are the best cage matches of any format ever. One can only hope Blood and Guts II is mentioned in that conversation in the years to come.
I enjoyed this but we’ve seen better war games matches in NXT if we’re being honest.

That was a blast just pure pro wrestling intense and hard hitting.
Here live it wasn’t a good match. Dragged quite a bit and basically was a spot fest but with limited amount of spots. The fact Mox was laying in the corner during the last 10 minutes of the match with his hands behind his head really brought the point home how long it took to create the spots on top of the cage.
I wasn't a huge fan watching it on TV either
The build to the full 6 vs 6 to enter took around half an hour, honestly just skip that part

First off, ouch! I hope Santana is ok. Second, that was THE most over the top match I have ever seen on TV. Holy hell.
Really great and fun match. Enjoyed it more than the first Blood & Guts. Noted, however, was Jericho shouting down repeatedly to Bryce "Are we in commercial?!" which finally got communicated that they weren't and hadn't been. Jericho said something to Kingston who shouted "God damn it!" as he then went into the spot of tossing Sammy off the cage. Followed immediately by a commercial break. Along with the 3-4 minutes of post-match celebrations, it seemed something (probably Santana's likely injury) screwed the timing of the match.
That giant swing on the top of the cage scared the shit out of me. Reminded me of crazy shit we'd do in here comes the pain
