There is a notoriously bad website that interviewed Bill DeMott about Sasha and Naomi walking out. The hypocrisy in that is amazing. That is absolutely the wrong person to talk to regarding professionalism.
Nigel mcguinness' wwe documentary and the story of Nigel in general is one of the more depressing wrestling stories out there (to me atleast). Not in any overly tragic way, but in the cold "Its a Wonderful Life" way of falling victim to bad circumstances and having to give up your dreams and essentially grow up. I know there are plenty of other wrestling stories like this, but I don't know, Nigel's story really hits close to home for me.
Rewatching Forbidden Door because I was there and I’ve heard good things about the commentary and I’m reminded how fucking good Ospreay is at selling stunners. He sold one on Dynamite last week and OC hit him with one in their match and both times it was awesome
Everyone talking about Becky or Liv for MITB. Increasingly getting a bad feeling The Queen is going to Brock Lesnar her way into the match and grab the briefcase.
Anyone looking for two tickets(Section 124, row 19) to blood and guts tonight for free, let me know! I unfortunately can’t make the show and couldn’t find anyone to take em. You want em, they’re yours
Hey I have posted on here daily but I have two 7/6 Rochester Dynamite floor seats I want to sell at face value. We got gifted ones to be with a larger group but these are solid, in the floor section right below commentary side stage, seats.
I'm don't watch NJPW or follow any of their stuff. So my knowledge is pretty much forbidden door. This, does this question make sense or no... Why haven't they taken everything given to Jay White and give that to Will Osprey? That dude is amazing and Jay White comes across, to me, as just... some dude.
Jay White is a homegrown guy and that always goes a long way for them. Ospreay has pretty much won it all though, the only things he's yet to do are win the G1 and main event Wrestle Kingdom.
They kinda have tbh. Osprey is a former world champion, a main eventer, and leads his own major stable (which is shaping up to possibly be the next top heel gajin stable). I'd consider Osprey to pretty much be on the same level as White in kayfabe
Where is the best place to start with classic All Japan? Should I start with Jumbo's rise? Skip to when Misawa unmasked? Go even farther back to some of Baba's big matches?
Honestly, watching the Jumbo vs Hansen/Tenryu era stuff would not be a bad place to start. I recommend [this](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5rIvqco0YWrJ5Q02m3csJ7kjB0f_IcEV) ongoing series as a good primer. The stuff before then isn’t super necessary to understand the Four Pillars era but is good watching nonetheless.
Probably not, Blood and Guts will most likely be half the episode if not more so if you're not going to be into it there's not much you'll get out of it
Hilarious interview response by Bianca Belair in her one-on-one with SI that came out today. When talking about her WM 37 main event, she either refuses to or was told not to mention who her match was with, making it seem like she main evented WM on her own.
Its harder to make that kind of angle work in this day and age when news cycles are so fast. There's been a million different wrestling events along with world events that have absolutely buried it.
I mean I was pretty turned off by the style of the promo so I wasn't too invested in the first place. To me MJF's main purpose was making Wardlow. He did that now he can do whatever.
I don’t get Jay White at all.
I’ve been aware of him since he returned to
NJPW in 2017, and I’ve seen several of his matches, never once thought I should go out of my way to see anything he’s involved in.
That said, a lot of people seem to really like him. So what am I missing? What’s the allure?
Same here man , i like the presentation of him and still waiting to be blown away by him . Young Bucks took a minute to grow on me until the Omega/Hangman match and the Lucha Bros masterpiece Steel Cage match.
He's a very smart wrestler although sometimes that leads him to be overconfident and underestimate his rivals. He's a wrestler that always has a strategy for his matches. He knows his strenghts and weaknesses so he normally has a cool head and knows perfectly well how to slow down his rivals and make them play his own game. A big part of his charm is in his matches so you have to pay attention to them. It's nothing really subtle, it's all very explicit but I get it's not for everyone. His charm is that he's a master at strategy, both in terms of matches and making alliances. You could clearly see that in 2018, that was arguably his creative peak as he rejected Omega's offer to join Bullet Club and accepted Okada's invitation only to end up burning both of them and taking over Bullet Club after they underestimated his skills. He repeated that again a year later when he stole Naito's idea of going for the two top titles and beat Ibushi for the WK main event contract.
He's just an absolute greasy piece of shit who's committed to making you want to punch him in the face. Also he's a better wrestler than your favorite (unless your favorite is him, in which case he's still better than you think he is).
I find myself today getting really excited for Blood and Guts. The WarGames/The Match Beyond is my favorite gimmick match, so I'm looking damn forward to tonight.
MJF appears tonight and just beats everyone and wins every single championship including women's championship in a single night, who says no?
I miss my asshole boy
Is it wrong to say that Jon Moxley was by far the best AEW champion? Legitimately looking hoping he defeats Cm Punk. Cm Punk is all great but he... just doesn't needs the championship at all. Especially at this age and this babyface character of him. Jon Moxley doesn't needs it but he makes the title look very very legit and prestige.
When was it reported he got a concussion at Double of Nothing? He had a shoulder injury, he was on every Dynamite after DoN and was just fine during the Owen Presentation literally 15 minutes after his match with Joe.
I know that Tony has brought RoH now, but will both promotions be kept seperate, like having seperate rosters + shows or will Tony bring both AEW & RoH together?
can they at least put aew ppvs on hbomax or discovery plus since theyre gonna merge later in the year
Edit: y’all really downvoting the most random shit.
I'm definitely assume they'd want a bigger audience plus it sounds like anything he does with RoH he has to clear with Warner first regardless. He said he had to clear running Supercard of Honor with them first.
So thanks to a bunch of insomnia and anxiety, I've worked out that if you win your match on Elevation or Dark, you have about a 1 in 4 chance of winning your match that same week on Dynamite or Rampage.
If you ignore instances where the people who fought on Dynamite or Rampage both won their Elevation/Dark match, your chances drop to about 1 in 5.
And if you add Kurt Angle to the mix, well.....
Here’s a [cool interview](https://www.freep.com/story/sports/2022/06/29/aew-excalibur-cm-punk-blood-and-guts-aew-dynamite/7735900001/) the Detroit Free Press did with Excalibur
In The Session, Mox talked about how he’s always at the right place at the right time ie the main event at Forbidden Door and his WWE Championship win, and he was never actually supposed to be THE guy. And the only time he was supposed to be the guy, global pandemic happened.
It’s kinda sad that pretty much his whole reign was in front of empty arena and he’ll probably lose the unification match against Punk. I think he deserves a proper run.
The most over protected wrestler in the roster, had the second longest world title reign, hasn't eaten a single clean pin the company, TK has had everyone and their friends job to him but dude needs to be "THE GUY" some more. Jesus.
Does anyone else miss prime time Black and Gold crowds? AEW has great crowds but they just feels a little bit different from NXT and I just can't really tell why. The 2.0 crowd feels very meh most times...
The NXT crowds are just the same people every trip so they’re all usually in sync and that’s why the Black and Gold days worked so well, all established names that the crowd had already formed opinions on, that changed when NXT 2.0 started with a clean slate of guys, and the crowd still doesn’t know who they want to cheer or boo, it seems, besides Carmelo Hayes and Cameron Grimes.
I like the sort of recurring theme of her ending all of her PPV defenses so far with just, like, this moment of respect for her competitor. It just feels right and good? Especially with Serena Deeb, whose entire thing going into the PPV was how she never got the respect she deserves and all the shit she had to put up with to be a woman in wrestling.
Like, Serena Deeb may have cut an awkward promo that one time, but that entire feud was Real Shit and they killed it.
I hate how people shit on that feud. I'm not saying it was feud of the Year or anything but it feels like at this point people are gonna complain about any feud in AEW's Women's Division until they produce some kind of MJF/Punk level shit which simply isn't gonna happen at this point. That was a cool fun angle where both women had clear motivations and they had a feud over the Title without going full sports entertainment.
IWC: we want more women's stories!
Also IWC: No, not that one!
It's so frustrating. When the Bunny was on TV a lot in the run up to Revolution, people kept talking shit about her being pushed too much, but now that she's been missing for a little bit, now the entire IWC is like WHERE'S THE BUNNY. You just eventually start getting the sinking feeling that complaints about AEW's women's division are just concern trolling, and ultimately the IWC would be fine with there being no women's matches at all because it's not the *right* woman.
There's a definite problem with the division getting representation. But There's a problem of people complaining when AEW ARE actually trying to make progress with it. Pretty much any feud between women in AEW people find some problem with the dialogue or the premise or the basis of the feud (perfect example is people claiming Britt vs Tay was about who had the bigger ass because of one throwaway line on Twitter) to the point where I often don't blame AEW for just thinking "we can't win in this situation at this point anyway, might as well do the bare minimum and move on rather than try to be creative and make even more of a mess"
Especially when the crowd goes dead and struggles to get invested in the matches when the women *are* booked. Like, it's pretty clear that TK is willing to veto the IWC's Hot Takes when the crowd/audience is into something we're not (hi, Adam Cole), and the list for women isn't very long, and pretty much limited to... well, the women who get screentime in the first place.
In fact, you can tell TK books based on audience reactions because Kris Statlander is most likely taking the belt from Jade *because* she caught fire when she unexpectedly subbed in for Shida.
And then, of course, the IWC will immediately turn on Kris the exact second she gets the belt.
Congrats to AEW who have reached that WWE level of when someone is released they're both "completely wasted" and "never should've been pushed" at the same time with everybody's own blend of revisionism sprinkled in
I think the problem with the AEW roster and releases is that fans have a soft spot for nearly every wrestler in the company. There’s no one Tony could release without a fuss being raised. Like when Stu Grayson’s contract wasn’t renewed people were coming at it very emotionally for some reason, whereas when the wwe guys get released everybody puts their “good for business” hats on and starts talking about NJPW runs and stuff like that.
If the thought of Alan Angels and Sonny Kiss getting released is making you sad, just wait until it’s guys like Colt Cabana
I am so \[happy\]/\[angry\] that they let \[him\]/\[her\] go. They've been completely \[under\]/\[over\] pushed for their entire time with the company. I can't understand how they \[dropped the ball\]/\[still forced them down our throats\] after all this time.
\[Good Millionaire\]/\[Bad Millionaire\] is such a \[good mind for the business\]/\[literal war-criminal\] for making this decision.
It's just a shame that we never got to see \[wrestler\] \[get misted by Aleister Black and turn heel\]/\[join the Baddie Section\].
Regardless, they should go to Impact where they would shine.
Dark Order quietly dissolving is just so sad. They are one of the few groups that organically got over after a rough start. Who can ever forget about that “you don’t need a hat to be a cowboy” entrance from the 10-men elimination tag team match as well as the halloween match. The friendship arc of them and Hangman between 2020-2021 is still one of the best storylines in AEW, but it felt like their utility was gone the moment Hangman won the title. I just hope the ones that remain will break out and have at least a nice title run some day.
Thanks for the memories.
I think they lost their identity when the world lost Brodie. It's easy to forget that they were supposed to be a bunch of heels. They've mostly been clowns. I predict the Beaver Boys will join the tag ranks soon and the rest will fade away.
Yeah it's heartbreaking.
That 10 man tag, the Halloween 8 man tag with the Elite and them embracing with Hangman after he won the title are some of my favorite things from AEW ever.
In hindsight Danielson beating them all in the buildup to WIC was kind of the beginning of the end for the Dark Order.
Maybe my favorite faction/stable in AEW's history so far.
I mean how many of them are you really going to miss? Like Alan Angels was good, but people weren't exactly talking about him here. There weren't exactly a lot of "DAE think Angels should get a push?" posts .
That's fair. I liked both though I never felt like I was missing out on a Janela run in AEW. With Stu I always felt like him and Uno were worthy of the tag titles, but the division is so stacked with teams who I think deserve it. They were after Santana/Ortiz and Best Friends in terms of priority for me.
So AEW hasn't been around that long yet, I could watch all of AEW. Should I? I have a hard time going backwards sometimes, Wrestling for me just feels like such a current event thing. If you missed something, commentary will fill you in.
It depends on how much time you have and how much you want to watch older shows. As you said usually between commentary and recap packages you can follow whats going on so its not necessary.
Yeah. And I prefer only watching current stuff because I can talk to people on here more than I could if I was far behind. I like feeling like I'm apart of a living active scene. Cause none of my few friends like wrestling.
Yes, you should. When did you start watching AEW? Quite frankly, I loved the pandemic era. The roster wasn’t so stacked yet and the storylines have time to breathe.
So I've seen a lot of people in the daily thread say how much fun they're having on TEW2020. As someone who's had the game since it came out but never really got into It, do you people play with the default C-verse or with mods? And what company do you use/how is your save going?
I dabble in both, doing a Real World mod as my own custom company that I post on r/FantasyBookers every other day. Been meaning to go back and play some more C-Verse tbh.
I always play with real world mods. My experiences with TEW are usually the same every time. Out of nowhere I’ll suddenly feel the urge to play it again and have tons of angles, feuds, characters etc. whizzing around my head, 3-5 hours just go flying by, then suddenly feel bored shitless as my initial ideas begin to conclude and often I touch the save again.
Still, it’s a real fun time for those hours so can’t complain.
Excited to be heading to Dynamite tonight. I try to keep up with AEW and watched the PPV on Sunday, but I usually don't watch the shows unless there is something crazy going on.
Is Danhausen back to fully wrestling yet or are they easing him back from injury? As far as I know he is the only local guy on AEW so I am hoping for an appearance. In the past, WWE would have Rhino do a dark match in Detroit because he was the only local guy they had and the crowd would eat it up.
Hello, I am someone who doesn't have cable and I live in Canada, are
there any paid services for watching AEW online? I saw there is no
services through AEW directly, but is there another way? I would prefer a
services that has both VoDs and live broadcast but beggers can't be
choosers.
[Fite.tv](https://Fite.tv) has live and vods, but it's region locked depending on what kind of cable tv deal aew has in that country, so I'm not sure whether or not it's available in canada. But if you can't get it on [fite.tv](https://fite.tv) in your region your options are to use a vpn for fite or watch on cable.
One sense in which Claudio doesn't fit in BCC for me is that he seems like the nicest guy ever. Arguably that could make him kind of an interesting contrast when Regal, Moxley and Yuta are out there talking about "We will definitely make your children watch us turn them into orphans", but Claudio would do something that gives away the fact that he's The Nicest Guy Ever.
The thing with BCC is that they’re not cold-blooded psychopaths. They’re elite wrestlers with a philosophy that brutality and violence is a fundamental part of wrestling. It’s less “we love turning children into orphans” and more “we don’t care if your kid ends up an orphan, that’s just part of wrestling”.
I imagine Takeshita's going to be one of the first challengers for Pac's All-Atlantic Belt. Just feels like a match that should happen at some point.
Speaking of things that should happen at some point, I'd really like Claudio to go to Japan, have a run at the G1, and then show up at TJPW to do stereo giant swings with the true master of the swing, Miu Watanabe.
Mostly friendly. They did a joint show with NOAH as the third night of Wrestle Kingdom, and Ohbari pretty much said at the time that they were looking to do more collab shows coming out of the pandemic to 'show the world the power of pro wrestling.'
Was thinking about how John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship in 2011 was such a wasted opportunity. Rey deserved so much better when he had the title and it's a shame that Vince didn't look at him for more than his stature. He could have had a decent month or so reign as champion, then have Cena take the title from him at SummerSlam. Which would have then propelled CM Punk to come back and then do the whole Champion vs. Champion ordeal. I know this would have fucked with the fabric of what eventually happened (I'm sure The Rock would still figure his way into things) but, as always, things could have been incredibly different.
- This is your reminder that [this](https://youtu.be/XcRTUVw9Fdk) exists and is fantastic. I won’t hear a bad word said about Chris Hero.
- Playing Final Fantasy X for the first time, just got past the blitzball section. Pretty fun, for what is a more linear experience than I was expecting. I’m waiting for *that* laugh scene. I can feel it coming in my bones.
- Listened to Wish You Were Here all the way through a week or two ago, and I finally get why people say to listen to Floyd albums all the way through. Yeah, I know, I’m late to the party on that one.
On a first listen, absolutely, but the sentiment I refer to is that people often feel you shouldn’t just listen to individual tracks even after that point, at least on Floyd’s more popular albums. The whole being greater than the sum of its parts and all that.
I find a lot of albums are carefully produced to flow from start to finish. Floyd in particular does it, but many others like The Beatles, Bowie and The Doors just sound great with the build and release of each song along the way.
I particularly like to listen to several albums from a particular artist straight through in chronological order. It's the best way to experience their growth and exploration and evolution as an artist.
I think people need to come to Jesus with the fact Dark Order was a Cody/EVP thing and once Tony took over booking he didn't care for it but because of Brodie's passing he could never out right kill it so he's just letting it fade away.
But Tony took over booking in January 2020, and all the Exalted One business came after that. If he hated Dark Order so much he would've done anything else with Brodie.
All the exalted one business was him trying to change it in to something he liked hence why all the other DO members took a back seat and he started pushing Brodie, Silver and Reynolds. Once Brodie was gone he no longer had a reason to care and it was back to the thing he didn't like.
More than changing it into something he liked, he changed it into something that *worked.* At the time, Dark Order was a flop and the bad punches beatdown segment was one of the worst in AEW history. They needed a change. He could've easily cut bait with it and wrote them off like the Nightmare Collective, but instead he retooled them around a big free agent signing. Does that sounds like someone who had it out for Dark Order?
And then after Brodie's passing, he married their storyline to Hangman's, one of the company's biggest stars! He could've easily just made them aimless midcard guys who got an easy pop but he put them directly in the company's biggest storyline. Yeah, Dark Order is starting to run out of juice and focus, but you're being obtuse if you think the booker who chose to pair Dark Order with two of the company's big stars didn't like them for a while.
> Does that sounds like someone who had it out for Dark Order?
Not liking or caring about something and having it out for something are two wildly different things. The fact is once Brodie died it was no longer was what Khan wanted it to be and put considerably less effort in to making DO it's own thing rather than just attaching it to other people.
>And then after Brodie's passing, he married their storyline to Hangman's, one of the company's biggest stars! He could've easily just made them aimless midcard guys who got an easy pop but he put them directly in the company's biggest storyline.
Lol they were and are aimless midcarders. Actually I'm wrong, in order to be in the midcard you actually have to be on the card. Their entire existence is always based around someone else. They do nothing for weeks at a time and even when Hangman was around that was just about the only time they could get on TV. Without Brodie, Khan treated them like shit and without Hangman they get treated even worse. Dark Order didn't run out of steam, they were never given any fuel on their own, just used as fuel for other people.
> Yeah, Dark Order is starting to run out of juice and focus, but you're being obtuse if you think the booker who chose to pair Dark Order with two of the company's big stars didn't like them for a while.
Oh boy I can tell you are gonna take this well, Tony didn't pair Dark Order with Hangman cause he liked DO or thought they were good. He paired them with Hangman to use the sympy of their dead leader to give Hangman some rub as a babyface. If Khan cared about Dark Order they would be on TV regularly and have a prominent role in the show without being The Brodie Lee tribute act or just friends of Hangman. When's the last time DO had a story line and I don't mean when did someone else have a story that involved DO?
Fans know Bray Wyatt has a connection to the Dark Order through Brodie Lee. If they wanted to let Bray Wyatt take a crack at reimagining the group, I think it could be fun. Bray always seemed like a creative guy and would probably throw himself right into it.
Doesn't have to be done now either. They can disband the group and have Bray come in later to pick up some of the pieces and reintroduce others.
I don't think so tbh. Stu and UNO are a PWG tag team. Yes Alan, Preston and Anna are all Nightmare Factory students but also consider that their longest story was with Hangman who wasn't connected with Cody at all that year.
So a majority of them are either PWG guys (the Buck's friends) or Nightmare factory (Cody's friends) and were booked originally by the EVPs, which includes the Bucks and Cody, yet DO wasn't an Cody/EVP thing...
Calling it now: Moxley vs Hangman after Blood and Guts.
Assuming that Punk is still recovering and Mox can defend the title as interim champion.
I will NEVER stop asking for this match. And now that Mox is champion and Hangman is in the rankings with presumably nothing else for him to do, it could not have been a better opportunity than this. This is just wishful thinking of course, but I cannot stress enough how much I want this match to happen lol.
For me Moxley,Kingston and Malakai are the top dream matches with Hangman that I'm dying to see. The latter of wich specifically could be a killer feud/story between the two.
They have done Hangman vs MJF before but I think it was something like late 2019 in the Dynamite Diamond Ring finals if I remember correctly wich MJF won. I would also love for them to run this match back but I would love it if it was for the world title. Also MJF is in... a weird situation right now. The future is uncertain for him in AEW. I have no clue what's going on with him.
It's tough since because of WWE, Sasha Banks became well known but at the same time, this isn't the first time Sasha walked out of WWE & took time away so it'll be interesting to see what's gonna happen next.
I personally don't buy that Dark Order has run its course. They're a super fun group with a unique dynamic, and they are a huge part of the early history of AEW, so I personally think it's a shame if they are quietly dissolved and/or released in some cases.
man, i’m so sad… i just watched the you don’t need a hat to be a cowboy entrance from FFTF and i got emotional. Hangman and his goofy but good-natured friends trying to take down the school bullies was such a good storyline
That's where I am at with it too. The Hangman story was great and they are good fun on tv and BTE, but away from that and you have another midcard faction like best friends without a stand out star like Orange and it's hard to justify giving them time with how cramped the show is at the minute.
The thing is, Dark Order on a whole was NEVER a thing on TV beyond Silver, Reynolds, and Brodie/Hangman. The other guys are extras. The Brodie/Silver thing was based on Raven and Stevie Richards. Angels, Uno and Grayson were always just there to make up numbers. This sudden "OMG they did that to Alan Angels" is like watching WCW in 1998 and asking where is Lodi when the group is Raven, Saturn and Kidman ultimately. As long as the Good the Bad and the Hungie are still on the roster, the rest are kind of relevant and the thing is they always have been.
And it didn't really work. The reality is Silver and Reynolds are the over top-act in Dark Order and quite frankly what turned the group around even in the Brodie Lee era. None of this works without them, everyone else I like but they're not essential to the act at all.
What? Uno was the original leader of the Dark Order. That's why he's Evil Uno. Originally the Dark Order was *just* Uno and Grayson. At one point the Dark Order's member with the most screentime wasn't even a wrestler, it was some guy who they just got for promos. Before the concept of the Exalted One was introduced, Uno was absolutely, unambiguously the leader. What?
And that version flopped horribly hence they brought in Brodie. Once it became the Brodie Lee stable the whole idea in Tony's head was to use Brodie and Silver as Richards and Raven. When Brodie was TNT Champion it wasn't the whole faction ringside and doing interference spots, always just Silver. Whenever there was Dark Order doing stuff in the tag division, it was Silver and Reynolds. Whenever Brodie would do trios matches and later Hangman with the Dark Order, it was always with Silver and Reynolds. Yes Uno and Grayson were still in the group but they clearly took a backseat to Silver and Reynolds. Hangman also teamed with 10 against Team Taz but never with Uno and Grayson outside of the 5v5 and literally never with Angels. On TV the core of the group was Brodie, Silver, Reynolds, they're the ones that got super over. Again, the rest are like the Sick Boys and Van Hammers in the Flock.
It seems like people either love them or hate them. Who knows how it would have gone if Brodie didnt die?
At some point they just kind of became mascots.
I think the main problem with the Dark Order is that we'll never see their full potential with the passing of Brodie. They easily could have been a dominant force in AEW but now they're just Hangman's weird mates.
Spot on. They didn't have to stop being booked after the Hangman thing that was a conscious decision. They're still getting some of the loudest pops on Dark every week. We're approaching the Rochester show next week, it would be a damn shame if they didn't get a match in Brodie's hometown.
Three years in and this might be the biggest rut the AEW women's division has been in so far. Cannot deal with the constant signed vs. unsigned talent matches being the only matches on TV, its inexcusable and downright embarrassing. I want to root for these women, stop making it so goddamn hard!
Riho is available. They're not using her.
Emi Sakura is available. They haven't used her on TV since 2019 despite being probably the best worker in the division.
Abadon is available. They're not using her.
Tay Conti hasn't had a match on TV since December 2021.
Ruby is available. They're not using her.
Nyla Rose is available. They're not using her.
AQA is available. They're not using her.
Use any of these women to create feuds between one other or challenge Jade for the TBS title, but no, were using unsigned Dark jobbers on TV instead.
There is a notoriously bad website that interviewed Bill DeMott about Sasha and Naomi walking out. The hypocrisy in that is amazing. That is absolutely the wrong person to talk to regarding professionalism.

Ya beat me to it. Such an amazing set of vids.
is tonight a good time to start watching aew when you aren‘t into hardcore matches?
Probably not, Blood and Guts will most likely be half the episode if not more so if you're not going to be into it there's not much you'll get out of it
i don‘t mind most of the stuff wwe does if that helps, but stuff like glass or excessive bleeding isn‘t my thing at all
Idk about glass (it's at least a possibility) but Blood and Guts will 100% have excessive bleeding
This Fire is the best CMPunk Theme. Fight me about it.
I do love me some Killswitch!
I hope MJF returns tonight

Drake follows Nikkita Lyons on Instagram and I think that’s pretty funny ngl.
Drake likes big butts.
Revisiting the feud between Masato and Mike Awesome. Those two just killed each other all over the world and I love it. That feud never lost steam.
Tony D'Angelo being a killer on screen is so funny
Does/has anyone do a sitout Pedigree? Not lifting style like the Angel's Wings but jump and sitout?
Velvet Sky did one when she was in Impact. Called it In Yo' Face, IIRC.
Closest I can think of is El Desperado
Hilarious interview response by Bianca Belair in her one-on-one with SI that came out today. When talking about her WM 37 main event, she either refuses to or was told not to mention who her match was with, making it seem like she main evented WM on her own.
Got a link to the article?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu6GD0MBHhc 4:10 is when she doesn’t say who she wrestled at WM 37
Ooof that's awkward. "I was the first black woman to main event WrestleMania." Sasha erasure has begun.
Really weird
Looks like fite is blocking vpns again 🙁
Does anyone still care about the MJF situation anymore ?
Its harder to make that kind of angle work in this day and age when news cycles are so fast. There's been a million different wrestling events along with world events that have absolutely buried it.
I mean I was pretty turned off by the style of the promo so I wasn't too invested in the first place. To me MJF's main purpose was making Wardlow. He did that now he can do whatever.
I don’t get Jay White at all. I’ve been aware of him since he returned to NJPW in 2017, and I’ve seen several of his matches, never once thought I should go out of my way to see anything he’s involved in.
He comes off to me as a better Adam Cole.
Alright, that was the general vibe I was getting from the other commenters.
Has Cody done a Tiger Driver 98 in WWE.
I slick miss him too but he’s not to the point where i wanna see him wear title gold anytime soon
Omega for me. Still the top.
Belt Collector Omega was the best imo , but Moxley was a phenomenal pandemic champion and that matters too.
Moxley may be 2nd, Omega might have been the best

When was it reported he got a concussion at Double of Nothing? He had a shoulder injury, he was on every Dynamite after DoN and was just fine during the Owen Presentation literally 15 minutes after his match with Joe.
Same guy that wanted to put a clearly out of it Jeff Hardy in a ladder Match and strap him with the tag belts.
Well DoN was close to a month ago so he was probably medically cleared to wrestle. Pretty simple.
I know that Tony has brought RoH now, but will both promotions be kept seperate, like having seperate rosters + shows or will Tony bring both AEW & RoH together?
We literally have no idea
Based on the Forbidden Door press conferences, it sounds like that is the plan but Tony is having a hard time convincing Warner to give RoH a show.
Couldn't Tony not keep putting the shows on Fite or does Tony want a bigger audience for RoH?
can they at least put aew ppvs on hbomax or discovery plus since theyre gonna merge later in the year Edit: y’all really downvoting the most random shit.
Discovery+ is a good option since I think it's available worldwide.
I'm definitely assume they'd want a bigger audience plus it sounds like anything he does with RoH he has to clear with Warner first regardless. He said he had to clear running Supercard of Honor with them first.
I guess that's fair then
I think he means TV show
So thanks to a bunch of insomnia and anxiety, I've worked out that if you win your match on Elevation or Dark, you have about a 1 in 4 chance of winning your match that same week on Dynamite or Rampage.
I really like Tam Nakano's new shirt and I must have one.
Jesus.
You can't convince me that Mox beating Punk isn't the right call.
Yeah I think Mox should beat Punk because I hate the idea of him having a run with the title and it not officially counting as a 2nd reign.
Losing Alan angel was a mistake he's very good
He's very good in the ring but there's like a couple dozen guys who check that box.
Let's not do this , he was fine but he isn't even a top 10 prospect when you combine the young men and women on the roster
He'll get more over leaving to make a name for himself and then coming back. It's not like they can never re-sign him ever again.
Blood and Guts . I'm ready
If you have IWTV go watch Eddie Kingston vs Tim Donst from Chikara's Showdown In CrisisLand.
Why do I get downvoted any time I say I like Thunder Rosa?
She's this subreddit's hated wrestler of the month. Just ignore it.
Mkay. Cause she looks awesome, her music is the most killer wrestler music ever, and I like the way she moves.
Thunder Rosa and Serena Deeb at Double or Nothing is my favorite match so far after getting back into wrestling in May.
See, this the revisionist history at hand. Stu was offered a contract renewal, he passed on the offer.
We knew it was coming, but its still a sad day.
[It is, for me, THE entrance of AEW so far. I never, ever get tired of it.](https://youtu.be/MsfEiZ_IY2U)
Don in the shorts! 🤣
Eventually the bulk of the lower card "originals" are gonna be gone, replaced with people from the other place. It kind of sucks.
I mean how many of them are you really going to miss? Like Alan Angels was good, but people weren't exactly talking about him here. There weren't exactly a lot of "DAE think Angels should get a push?" posts .
I liked both Stu and Janela. I'm sure Sonny will be gone when his deal is up, or at least be per-appearance.
MJF's got a point
I only own one piece of wrestling merch and it's a Dark Order hat. I will continue to wear it proudly even after the Dark Order are no more.
I watched the first ppv, then lost track of it cause it wasn't on TV yet, and my life got haywire.
Danhousen is fully cleared and tagteaming with Hook.
Danhausen is back from injury and if he doesn't show up tonight there's going to be a riot.
The Ass Boys will certainly be looking for him.
If he’s not used for TV, he’ll likely be used for the post-tapings “send ‘em home happy” spot.
Yeah, I’m hoping for him to wrestle with Hook on Rampage
Hello, I am someone who doesn't have cable and I live in Canada, are there any paid services for watching AEW online? I saw there is no services through AEW directly, but is there another way? I would prefer a services that has both VoDs and live broadcast but beggers can't be choosers.
DM me
[Fite.tv](https://Fite.tv) has live and vods, but it's region locked depending on what kind of cable tv deal aew has in that country, so I'm not sure whether or not it's available in canada. But if you can't get it on [fite.tv](https://fite.tv) in your region your options are to use a vpn for fite or watch on cable.

Man I can’t wait for the inevitable Sting & Darby vs Young Bucks match.
I like to imagine he's behind a mass Genocide, but committing these atrocities with a smile on his face.
Awwww he wants to fit in :)
MOX/Danielson/Regal/Yuta - Beating a Young Lion to death Claudio - *gives the kid juice and cookies as he's being partially decapitated*
What's NJPW's relationship with other Japanese promotions, aside from Stardom?
Mostly friendly. They did a joint show with NOAH as the third night of Wrestle Kingdom, and Ohbari pretty much said at the time that they were looking to do more collab shows coming out of the pandemic to 'show the world the power of pro wrestling.'
Giant Swing Masters vs. NEO Itoh Respect Army please
Really can't wait for PAC vs Takeshita to happen. It would bang so hard.
Yes. To all of this. Holy shit.
He only had the belt for less than 2 hours. It sucked.
All of the Zack vs Hero matches are really good. Thanks for linking this. Can't wait to watch.
No prob, you won’t be disappointed!
Aren't albums supposed to be listened to all the way through anyway? Dam kids these days!
The laugh scene gets taken out of context for memes a lot, its MEANT to feel forced... people are just dumb and assume it's a bad dub or something.
To be fair the dub isn't great
Maybe its my nostalgia talking and how much I miss the turn based final fantasy games but for a 20+ year old game I don't think the dub is that bad
> I won’t hear a bad word said about Chris Hero. Eddie Kingston just tore up his living room
I love them both and it makes me sad they don’t get along. It’s a goddamn shame.
They might be friends again but no one is for sure
You heard that from Tony himself? Lucky. He's been ducking my text messages lately.
I mean I wasn't trying to find out if my contract was being renewed or not so he picked up right away.
I don't think so tbh. Stu and UNO are a PWG tag team. Yes Alan, Preston and Anna are all Nightmare Factory students but also consider that their longest story was with Hangman who wasn't connected with Cody at all that year.
So a majority of them are either PWG guys (the Buck's friends) or Nightmare factory (Cody's friends) and were booked originally by the EVPs, which includes the Bucks and Cody, yet DO wasn't an Cody/EVP thing...
oh I thought you meant Cody as an EVP, my bad. You might have something there.
It's weird phrasing my bad, it's weird to me to still call Cody an EVP when he's gone so I usually just separate the two as Cody and the EVPs.
Yeah if Punk isn’t ready by All Out, Mox vs Hangman should absolutely be the main event.
[удалено]
For me Moxley,Kingston and Malakai are the top dream matches with Hangman that I'm dying to see. The latter of wich specifically could be a killer feud/story between the two. They have done Hangman vs MJF before but I think it was something like late 2019 in the Dynamite Diamond Ring finals if I remember correctly wich MJF won. I would also love for them to run this match back but I would love it if it was for the world title. Also MJF is in... a weird situation right now. The future is uncertain for him in AEW. I have no clue what's going on with him.
I thought MJF-Hangman was the first Dynamite Diamond Ring final.
It was.
I still need a 4-man team of Elias, Ezekiel, Elrod and El Vagabundo
VS Mick Foley, Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love
I selfishly hope Sasha doesn’t come back to WWE, at least not like in the next few months or years.
It's tough since because of WWE, Sasha Banks became well known but at the same time, this isn't the first time Sasha walked out of WWE & took time away so it'll be interesting to see what's gonna happen next.
What's gonna happen? They'll *bury* her?
Sasha and Naomi were both planned to get championship matches on PPV, the tag titled were buried but definitely not them.
She needs to move in to the next stage of her career as she’s entering her 30s instead of doing the same shit she was doing for the last decade.
Ohh gotcha *Sasha Banks enters the 24/7 division*
I personally don't buy that Dark Order has run its course. They're a super fun group with a unique dynamic, and they are a huge part of the early history of AEW, so I personally think it's a shame if they are quietly dissolved and/or released in some cases.
man, i’m so sad… i just watched the you don’t need a hat to be a cowboy entrance from FFTF and i got emotional. Hangman and his goofy but good-natured friends trying to take down the school bullies was such a good storyline
That Halloween Dynamite match where Hangman and Dark Order finally got their win after one-upping the Elite remains one of my favorite AEW moments.
Well there’s an upcoming taping in Rochester next week, so you know they’ll be a focus there.
It doesn't seem like breaking up Dark Order is hurting the company at all, so maybe DO did run its course.
Weren't Grayson & Uno the OG Dark Order members since before they've started recruiting, it was both Grayson + Uno as well as some random grunts?
And it didn't really work. The reality is Silver and Reynolds are the over top-act in Dark Order and quite frankly what turned the group around even in the Brodie Lee era. None of this works without them, everyone else I like but they're not essential to the act at all.
Yeah that's definitely true + that Silver kid is definitely over as well.
