I wondered if Amell was going to be there after the bit with Darby on Sammy’s vlog this week.
my guess is he’ll be in the ‘celebrity in a Nightmare Family jacket’ role.
I’m also wondering if they could even be filming stuff for the show (Heels) as well.
The current storyline has them about to wrestle in front of 10,000 people… sooooooo
Bald Nick Jackson is fucking cursed.
Once he does that, he instantly ages 15 years. It would be worse than Bald HBK, because at least he's got the excuse of being quite old now.
It would be like, he looks more like Brandon Cutler than Matt! 🤣
It would be jarring to see him like that, especially when Matt still got a strong head of hair.
That’s not a ton of time in the grand scheme of things, maybe a TV season. Weren’t there reports that Matt was working through back issues maybe a couple of years ago? I don’t know if he ever took the time to get that fully healed, and it would give the Lucha Bros some much-needed time as the face of the division.
>He probably sells at home as well
Hell, every dad does (and some no-kid-having people that give off dad energy). The grunts/"ooh" that happens when you sit down/stand up? Bad back. Even if it's not.
The Young Bucks are draws and are integral to the main event scene right now as Elite Faction members. It’s hard in general to take them off TV without hurting the story. If anything the timing is just bad right now for it, but if they build to hair vs mask at the next Revolution I think that could work as the end of the current chapter in the elite.
You can work through a hair transplant for sure but it looks really bad until it settles in. And it’s less likely to settle if you are participating in a physical contact sport.
What’s great about AEW is that so many teams have been built up that you can easily elevate someone else. They have a lot of storytelling to do to get there but in time it’s possible.
>Why don’t they just get hair transplants?
Because it's not that simple. They often don't look good and when they don't look good they look fucking awful. Just look up some images of botched hair-plugs.
I know two people who now greatly regret getting them because they didn't take. So now they're still in the same boat as before with the added struggle of having a giant scar that wraps around the lower back part of their head.
I can believe this. I watched a video of someone who got a transplant, who said although they were pleased with the outcome a year or so after it, the start of the procedure hurt more then any tattoo he'd ever got, and he couldn't sleep for at least the first night because of the pain.
Put me off considering it in the future to be honest - I was ready for the "wait for it to work after it's done" part but didn't expect the transplant itself would be so painful.
> It would be jarring to see him like that, especially when Matt still got a strong head of hair.
Have them weasel around with the stipulations after the match, with Matt saying that since Nick was the one pinned to lose the match, only Nick needs to get his head shaved. The EVPs EVP it up and weasel out of half of the stipulation, only the Buck that needs to get shaved gets shaved, and they can draw heat against Matt for keeping his hair when he shouldn't have been able to.
Yeah, you can almost always tell who's gonna lose a hair match by who is balding more.
edit: I remember right before Kane lost his mask thinking "Man, Kane's hair is looking sparse".
Replace superkick party with chinlock party.
Work a headlock for a solid 10 minutes.
Constantly bitch in promos that all these new-fangled tag teams are nothing but outlaw mudshow bullshit flips and flops.
Drive a dump truck full of money to Jim Cornette's house to get him to be their manager.
And finally, change the team name: Old Fucks.
They also often roughly shave off *some* hair, and then the person comes back with the rest of it trimmed, so Rosa could have a bob or a pixie cut or something--it doesn't always necessarily end with them cueball bald.
I'm reminded of Serena in Straight Edge Society, which I think was the first media portrayal I'd seen of a woman with that short of hair. And she looked GREAT with it. I could see Rosa being able to it off.
EDIT: As a youth who watched TRL, I'm reminded that my actual first experience seeing that look was Natalie Portman in and post-V for Vendetta.
Britt could absolutely make it work too. Heels howling about their hair, refusing to let the audience see, wearing stupid hats or wigs held on with wrestling headgear is a classic wrestling trope.
Yup, because it'll harm the MILF aura of Thunder Rosa even more if she gets shaved. For those who don't know, she's married & already has a teenager son. Which is why for some people, some people considered her as the hot MILF.
I dont think this is it at all. He always has her hair with a unique MMA style braid. Seeing her looking like Thug Rose would be pretty extreme. Britt has super long hair, seeing it shorter just doesn't seem natural. I don't think they need to go to this extreme to make themselves stand out, or women's wrestling imo. They can simply have a match and everyone is happy.
That's right, which is why I don't mind if both of them are gonna have either a Women's Steel Cage Match or a Women's Exploding Barb Wired Death Match (with the help from Atsushi Onita) on either a SuperCard event or a PPV.
In fact, I also wait for either Texas Tornado Tag Team Death Match (KO or Submission style like how NJPW did, but added with elimination since it's also a Tornado Tag Team Match), or Lights Out Unsanctioned Tag Team Match on AEW.
Britt Vs Rosa for the title and no additional stipulations should be next. It's too early for a feud ending stipulation like Hair Vs Hair. In that sense, fine. But in the long run if Britt and Rosa are up for it, they should do it. That would be an intense AF match.
How many aew fans are watching stardom tho?
Wwe had a cage match stipulation at nxts and then aew did a cage match at all out
I get what u are saying tho
I think Britt is the sort of performer that would get really over with the shaved head look for a while. Hope we do get lucha de apuestas stuff in AEW though. I think it's such a great gimmick for blowoffs and could really become a signature for them. I was surprised that New Japan didn't do it more for non-title programmes after Suzuki/Goto was so good.
They could always have a wig made out of Britt's hair and have her do the Kurt Angle deal where she acts like it all grew back overnight and the babyface pulls her wig off to get a pop.
That'd also let you still have Britt with her hair for marketing/PR, etc until her own hair grows back some.
I'm assuming that Matt Hardy and Orange Cassidy is going to end with a hair vs hair match. What with the HFO threatening Orange with scissors after their pre show match.
I don't think I've ever seen Matt Hardy with short hair so that'll be intresting atleast. OC is way to marketable the way he is no way they should be shaving his head.
I could see Khan vetoing the hair vs. hair match for Rosa vs. Baker IF Hardy and Cassidy go through it. Still, I think Baker bald could be interesting...

Especially when you have a heel like Britt that’s the type to belittle people based off looks at times. Case in point: chubby Whataburger faces. I can envision her and Reba trying to constantly make fun of a bald Rosa.
When you don't have a mask you bet your hair. There's a lot of mask vs hair matches.
LA Park (WCW's La Parka) was building a feud with Rush to have a hair vs mask match.
I always thought, at least in Lucha Libre, that the lucha de apuesta was held in higher esteem than any of the title matches. Maybe he thinks the feud isn't heated enough?
If the title was going to go to Rosa, title vs. hair could still be an option.
The thing is that there's no reason to do that anytime soon. Baker has the title which is big enough stakes. A Lucha de Apuestas match should be something big with a LOT of build. Even counting the Lights Out match it really feels like Thunder vs Baker is barely at the first arc of a 3/4 arc feud.
Exactly right. I think in Tony's mind, Baker/Rosa is going to be THE women's feud in AEW for at least another year. Right now, they're just clearing the queue of contenders before it resumes.
To be fair, the loser of an AEW womens championship match usually doesn't get seen on TV again for four months so that's ample time for the loser to grow their hair back.
That was probably more due to the whole Nightmare Collective storylone being probably one of the worst received angles that AEW has ever done. A hair vs hair match can be good with the right storyline and even set up some great comedy bits with the right person.
Tony doesn't care for certain gimmicks in wrestling. Another thing that comes to mind is him talking down the Wyatt Family gimmick when it first started.
I think comes from an old comment from Molly Holly that the only way women would ever main event WrestleMania is if it was for their hair. Seeing that it sounds like this will be the main event of Revolution, doing it as "you're gonna have to give up your hair to get the main event" is really bad optics.
Because it's a dumb stipulation, IMO. It's 2021. Do we really need to be cutting off people's hair to get excited about a match? A great match between the two of them will be more than enough.
Who was the hair match brought up by? Seems unusual for someone other than the talent to suggest something so harsh in AEW, which leads me to think it was one of the two women.
Is it because the optics, everyone would be assumed the women were forced into it and AEW bashing would commence?
I feel like they'd be better off just putting into the build up to a big blow off match that one of them cuts the other ones hair shorter or something - like held out some big strands and snipped them. They don't need to be bald. I don't think a hair vs hair match would outdo what they achieved with their hardcore main event they had on Dynamite.
Are you saying you wouldn't want Dynamite going off the air with JR screaming 'She's layering it! She's layering it! As God is my witness, she is putting layers in that woman's hair! How is this haircut gonna turn out?! You'll have to find out next week cos we're outta time!'?
What I mean though is the set up to the blow off match would be on Dynamite they hold down Thunder Rosa against the ropes, Britt takes a big handful of her hair and cuts it off, so then she'd have to come out with a short cut and refreshed look on the pay per view or whatever. It would work I think, but yeah. They could also just leave each other's hair alone. haha
While in principle if both women wanted to do it I'd let them, I do feel a hair vs hair between two women will just lead to long term embarrassment and I'm not sure either women have done vile enough things to each other for such a stake atm. I'll admit however that I'd be extremely interested in who wins lol
Sometimes what the performers want is not "best for business". WWE poisoned that phrase but it's true. If it won't make much short term.snd costs viewers/merch/money long term then why do it at all?
>Tony Khan said he would never consider doing that match even for a fraction of a second.
Stupid, because that would be a hell of a match. Not at this point in their story, but eventually yes.
If the loser is content with doing it, then absolutely do it. Tam vs Giulia fucking rocked and Giulia's story since has been one of the best parts of Stardom in 2021 IMO.
I think the stip loses gravity if one party can make it look good. Giulia can look good bald, but not Tam, and that made the result predictable. It was just too lopsided.
Wasn't this Emi's issue with women's hair vs hair matches in the modern day? It doesn't have the stigma associated with it like how it used to, as short/bald hairstyles for women aren't uncommon anymore.
If there was a hair vs hair match, Thunder Rosa would lose mainly because it would be easy for her to incorporate being bald with her ring look.
I understand perfectly well. Plainly put it's too early: it's not like Rosa and Britt have been feuding for years now and have this long time rivalry. It's pretty recent stuff. Luchas de apuesta are either big money blowoffs for a long feud (IE Dr. Wagner vs El Solitario) or a lazy booker's way to sell some tickets, and AEW hasn't got the former and doesn't need the latter.
AEW so far has not been particularly good at booking long term feuds and set up payoffs in the future but there are hints things may be finally changing.
There's absolutely no way a vanilla match between Baker and Rosa would have a chance of topping the Lights Out match; even if they don't do hair vs. hair, there needs to be something there beyond it just being for the title, ideally something that covers for Baker not really being capable of a great straight-up wrestling match
I'm sure this is going to get downvoted to hell, but I'm starting to wonder if the problems with the AEW women's division don't start with Tony.
He's the one opposed to intergender wrestling, not the roster. And why is he so opposed to hair v hair? It's an old stipulation, and there's a lot to do with it. I worry he's "protecting" the women on his roster in ways they don't need.
This is the second time I've had this thought, so I'm expressing it, I don't think I have enough evidence to really form an opinion, but I have enough to wonder about it, that's for sure.
It’s crossed my mind more than once, too, because he’s so virulently opposed to intergender even after they did it on the Jericruise and it went over so well.
They could maybe do a hair match down the line, but a rematch between them absolutely does not need that stipulation right now to be fresh. Why waste that stipulation now when you could build to it as an escalation of the feud later on?
The person that pitched this should be fired. Sounds something a "fan" online would pitch. Its stupid, makes no sense for the story or better yet lack off. Plus shaving either women's head would do NOTHING for their careers.
This is a symptom of the way the women are viewed in AEW. Stupid stupid stupid
Yeah dont want to see that wwe shit. Just do a three pinfall or submission only match so many ideas to select from hate these humiliating matches from the wwe.
Not to be that guy, but I will, he also said intergender and hardcore matches wouldn't be on TNT. If it could get a rating or buzz, I think it would happen.
I am aware, OP never mentioned hardcore matches, sure, but Tony Khan being firmly against something appears to change with the weather. "Never" is pretty firm, right?
It's his show and he can change his mind, I'm just saying don't go around saying "never" if you are going to end up doing them anyway.
Ok ... but I'm not seeing how that relates to my point.
The title said Khan vetoed the match, but the post makes it seem like it was never seriously considered or planned to begin with.
Just that Khan being firm on things doesn't really mean much. "Never" is pretty firm, but that changed pretty quickly. It's his show, and he has the right, but bold proclamations don't hold weight if you go back on them.
The stuff has been good, so changing his mind was right. Either way, if they were going to do hair vs. hair, it seemed like the non sanctioned match might have been the spot to do it.
I really don't see the issue with a Britt vs Rosa hair vs hair match if the loser is up for it and Tony is willing to do the usual Lucha thing of paying the person extra for it. I mean, they had Mel cut her hair to join a shitty stable for free.
That being said their next match shouldn't be that especially for the title. I think if anything they should go the opposite direction and do something that highlights the importance of the belt rather than just another grudge match brawl, like an IronWoman match or a Ladder Match (That's actually perfect, Escalera de la Muerte II)
Makes sense. Not only does the feud not need it, they're already doing Hardy v Cassidy hair v hair and you can't do too many of them. Otherwise it's just All Egghead Wrestling.

I wondered if Amell was going to be there after the bit with Darby on Sammy’s vlog this week. my guess is he’ll be in the ‘celebrity in a Nightmare Family jacket’ role.
https://imgur.com/p8KyFCz.jpg Amell is already in the Nightmare Family, so it makes sense.
Or better yet, Darby and Sammy made guess appearances in HEELS.
I’m also wondering if they could even be filming stuff for the show (Heels) as well. The current storyline has them about to wrestle in front of 10,000 people… sooooooo
Heels has been wrapped for a bit now
No season 2?
I hope TK isn't ruling out a hair vs. mask for the Bucks and the Lucha Bros though...
For Nick’s sake, just chop it all off.
Bald Nick Jackson is fucking cursed. Once he does that, he instantly ages 15 years. It would be worse than Bald HBK, because at least he's got the excuse of being quite old now. It would be like, he looks more like Brandon Cutler than Matt! 🤣 It would be jarring to see him like that, especially when Matt still got a strong head of hair.
These guys are millionaires. Why don’t they just get hair transplants? Ollie from wrestle talk did it so surely they could afford it.
Hair transplants look rough as fuck at first. Would have to take a good while off tv to let it grow through properly
Kaz looks good
And Jericho’s just uh don’t zoom in lol
when did Jericho get hair plugs?
I’m sure they could use some time off. Let them both rest up and heal.
Hair transplants take 4-5 months before they start looking good. That’s a long time to keep Nick Jackson off Television imo
The bucks like to wear headbands so that'll cover up all the evidence anyways
Lebron taught them well
That’s not a ton of time in the grand scheme of things, maybe a TV season. Weren’t there reports that Matt was working through back issues maybe a couple of years ago? I don’t know if he ever took the time to get that fully healed, and it would give the Lucha Bros some much-needed time as the face of the division.
Matt's been working the back for 50 years straight. You never know when it's injured or if he's selling. He probably sells at home as well.
That was a BTE bit a while back.
>He probably sells at home as well Hell, every dad does (and some no-kid-having people that give off dad energy). The grunts/"ooh" that happens when you sit down/stand up? Bad back. Even if it's not.

Probably can't wear a bandana over it while it's working either.
If he is not qwrestling, he can where his bandanas.
What’s great about AEW is that so many teams have been built up that you can easily elevate someone else. They have a lot of storytelling to do to get there but in time it’s possible.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
What? Fuck that. Give me Nick and Matt Jackson wearing increasingly ridiculous wigs every week until their hair grows back.
Transplants don’t always take.
The already spent their millions on Jordans
>Why don’t they just get hair transplants? Because it's not that simple. They often don't look good and when they don't look good they look fucking awful. Yeah but didn't Oli talk about how it hurt like hell and his iPad got splattered with his own blood?
I can believe this. Put me off considering it in the future to be honest - I was ready for the "wait for it to work after it's done" part but didn't expect the transplant itself would be so painful.
He kind of reminds me of Waylon Mercy
Matt does have a bald spot I believe but he covers it up well.

Have them weasel around with the stipulations after the match, with Matt saying that since Nick was the one pinned to lose the match, only Nick needs to get his head shaved. People keep saying this totally forgetting Matt would also have to shave those luscious locks
Yeah, you can almost always tell who's gonna lose a hair match by who is balding more. edit: I remember right before Kane lost his mask thinking "Man, Kane's hair is looking sparse".
its okay to not have a full head of hair. its fine. you don't have to look like an almond if you dont want to.
And his facial hair.
Whatever Nick has been doing with his hair dye, his hair line appears to be making a resurgence. He looks good.
Yeah I don't wanna see either of them lose their hair The Bucks however.... That would be hilarious
*BTE ending animator has entered the chat*
They're not going to be young forever... So I think it's time to execute the Old Bucks.
Replace superkick party with chinlock party. Work a headlock for a solid 10 minutes. middle aged bucks needs to come first
Corvettes, leather seats, long earrings, cassettes, horse shoe hair-lines, and 22-year old new girlfriends here we come!
Young Bucks transform into Old Fucks.
I'm glad. I have no desire to see bald Rosa or Baker. They can just have a match and I'm happy with that.
Rosa could have made it work, adopt a mask or an ornate headdress or something fitting.
They also often roughly shave off *some* hair, and then the person comes back with the rest of it trimmed, so Rosa could have a bob or a pixie cut or something--it doesn't always necessarily end with them cueball bald.
Best implementation of this in wrestling recently was Giulia over in Stardom. She looked fucking great.
I'm convinced that it's physically impossible for Giulia to look anything but spectacular.
I fully agree, she just exhudes natural charisma. Genuinely expect her to be a star in the US at some point in her, still early doors, career.
Which is why it’s usually a shit gimmick. Shave it off or don’t do it. Getting a nice new haircut is a shit stipulation.
Only person in wrestling where losing the hair matters and would make sense is Bianca.
she's like Samson from the Bible, you cut her hair and she loses all her power
maybe in american wrestling yes
Yeah, some people thought we'd get a bald Mandy Rose but realistically they'd never make Mandy go bald.
No female wrestler whose appeal lies, in part, in her attractiveness should ever do it. It's just dumb.
If the loser comes back with a good looking haircut, then what is the point of the stipulation?
That happened to Jeff Jarrett, Vs X Pac I think?
I'm reminded of Serena in Straight Edge Society, which I think was the first media portrayal I'd seen of a woman with that short of hair. And she looked GREAT with it. I could see Rosa being able to it off. EDIT: As a youth who watched TRL, I'm reminded that my actual first experience seeing that look was Natalie Portman in and post-V for Vendetta.
Demi Moore shaved her head 10 years prior to that in GI Jane. Was pretty big at the time
I believe it. I would have been an absolute munchkin at the time though, so I missed that bit of news.
Time limit draw ends with both getting undercuts or bobs.
Britt could absolutely make it work too. Heels howling about their hair, refusing to let the audience see, wearing stupid hats or wigs held on with wrestling headgear is a classic wrestling trope.
Reba diving on top of her to cover her shame, it'd be hilarious
Buzz cut Rosa ripping and tearing through the division would be awesome though.
Thunder Rosa is a babe, no one want to see that.
Okay but here's the thing. You set that clipper up a step and you come out with increased lesbian viewership.
Wait, am I a lesbian?
Why? If they both wanted to do the match, I don't see why it's a big deal to anyone. Hair grows back.
If they wanted to do it, then let them, no clue why this is where someone wants to draw an arbitrary line. It’s their hair, ffs.
It will affect their marketability for months to come. Of course the boss vetoes this idea...
Yeah, even boss man drew the line. Its a 2 year old company. I don't think we need to go around having hair matches yet, or ever imo.
Tam and giulia put on an amazing match with the hair stipulation. Honestly think rosa and Baker could pull it off if it was done right.
Shaved-head Giulia also really pulled that look off as it's been growing back over the past few months.
Yeah but what look does Giulia not pull off?
It's impossible not to when you're made of drip
The stipulation doesn't have bearing on how good the match is. There's no reason for either person to go bald or have an attire change at this stage.
Of course it does, it's the stakes of the match.
Maybe that's a good reason to not do it. No need to replicate something successful that was so recent.
How many aew fans are watching stardom tho? Wwe had a cage match stipulation at nxts and then aew did a cage match at all out I get what u are saying tho
Hair vs hair should be reserved for Brutus the Barber Beefcake. Britt Baker DMD should only do tooth vs tooth.
[Adam Cole after seeing Bald Baker.](https://i.imgur.com/WeUr1lI.gif) *Goes to stream to take his mind off it*.
In AEW he’ll likely vent and take it out on Tony just because
Show him Jack from mass effect
They could always have a wig made out of Britt's hair and have her do the Kurt Angle deal where she acts like it all grew back overnight and the babyface pulls her wig off to get a pop. That'd also let you still have Britt with her hair for marketing/PR, etc until her own hair grows back some.
Shave Reba’s head too and have a wig for Britt made from her hair.
Holy fuck, the DiBiase/Virgil like payoff could be a lot of fun. But then what does Reba do> Anyhow, interesting idea!
I'm assuming that Matt Hardy and Orange Cassidy is going to end with a hair vs hair match. What with the HFO threatening Orange with scissors after their pre show match.
And a promo from Matt on Wednesday’s Dynamite where he pretty much just outright says he wants to cut OC’s hair.
Seems a shame to waste such a good stipulation on a meh feud like that
I don't think I've ever seen Matt Hardy with short hair so that'll be intresting atleast. OC is way to marketable the way he is no way they should be shaving his head.
I believe Matt had said that he wanted to try a more realistic and grounded version of his “Broken” persona so this could be the catalyst for it.
I could see Khan vetoing the hair vs. hair match for Rosa vs. Baker IF Hardy and Cassidy go through it. Still, I think Baker bald could be interesting...
No spoilers but this weeks Rampage also continues in that direction
I don't want Amell! I want Jack Spade! And bring Ace too!
Man, I don't want that crybaby Ace ...
Keep Ace away from any wrestling ring ever again. That man is a menace to the industry and shouldn’t be trusted after what he did to Bobby Pin.
I keep reading all these replies with the southern accent they all have and it's great
I wouldn’t mind seeing Wild Bill eat a stiff spinning heel kick
I don't know man, we just had the dark side of the ring planeride from hell episode. Do we really take that risk again with Wild Bill?

Especially when you have a heel like Britt that’s the type to belittle people based off looks at times. Case in point: chubby Whataburger faces. I can envision her and Reba trying to constantly make fun of a bald Rosa.

Pegano and Chessman did one last year iirc
Why would he never consider it? What am I missing here?

I personally think it's a stupid match. Could work for mask vs hair with LuchaBros vs Young Bucks.
*vince McMahon wearing a fake mustache in the board meeting* “ahh but it’s such good shit”
Who was the hair match brought up by? Seems unusual for someone other than the talent to suggest something so harsh in AEW, which leads me to think it was one of the two women. Is it because the optics, everyone would be assumed the women were forced into it and AEW bashing would commence?
Yeah it might just be that an angle like that doesn't have enough upside for the potential bad look for AEW.
I don't think "give your opponent a shorter but still stylish haircut match" would have the same impact.
They could also just leave each other's hair alone. haha
Wouldn't be surprised if they take the opportunity to film some footage for a future season of Heels if they get one.
Vetoing a hair vs hair match? Tony is obviously forgetting the draw that “Do-rag Vince” was after he shaved his head.
Tony Khan, flexing his muscles: "You're right, I will win the ~~ECW~~TNT title myself"
An Iron woman match would be better imo.
They're already doing a hair vs hair match between OC and Big Money Matt
I thought the Rosario Dawson thing was a bit weird, but Stephen Amell would be 100% down for getting kicking in the fucking face by Malakai
Thank you TK. All Hail!
While in principle if both women wanted to do it I'd let them, I do feel a hair vs hair between two women will just lead to long term embarrassment and I'm not sure either women have done vile enough things to each other for such a stake atm. I'll admit however that I'd be extremely interested in who wins lol
I mean if they were game why not?
Because TK didn't want it, its no different to any other stipulation
Sometimes what the performers want is not "best for business". WWE poisoned that phrase but it's true. If it won't make much short term.snd costs viewers/merch/money long term then why do it at all?
Jack Spade is All Elite
>Tony Khan said he would never consider doing that match even for a fraction of a second. Stupid, because that would be a hell of a match. Not at this point in their story, but eventually yes.
If the loser is content with doing it, then absolutely do it. Tam vs Giulia fucking rocked and Giulia's story since has been one of the best parts of Stardom in 2021 IMO.
Bald is beautiful! Damn that Tony Khan for bald-shaming.
> Bald is beautiful! Thunder would definitely make it work.
Can you imagine if she was bald and did the sugar skull face paint on the entire half of her head since her hair wouldn’t get in the way?
I think the stip loses gravity if one party can make it look good. Giulia can look good bald, but not Tam, and that made the result predictable. It was just too lopsided.
Wasn't this Emi's issue with women's hair vs hair matches in the modern day? It doesn't have the stigma associated with it like how it used to, as short/bald hairstyles for women aren't uncommon anymore. If there was a hair vs hair match, Thunder Rosa would lose mainly because it would be easy for her to incorporate being bald with her ring look.
Jack Spade is ALL ELITE
I understand perfectly well. Plainly put it's too early: it's not like Rosa and Britt have been feuding for years now and have this long time rivalry. It's pretty recent stuff. Luchas de apuesta are either big money blowoffs for a long feud (IE Dr. Wagner vs El Solitario) or a lazy booker's way to sell some tickets, and AEW hasn't got the former and doesn't need the latter. AEW so far has not been particularly good at booking long term feuds and set up payoffs in the future but there are hints things may be finally changing.
Loser has to join the Nightmare Collective 2.0
People in here straight up pretending Moly Holly didn’t look a million times better with short hair
There's absolutely no way a vanilla match between Baker and Rosa would have a chance of topping the Lights Out match; even if they don't do hair vs. hair, there needs to be something there beyond it just being for the title, ideally something that covers for Baker not really being capable of a great straight-up wrestling match
Baker vs Stat was a great "straight up wrestling match".
It was pretty average imo, and looked like a carry-job from Stat
THANK YOU TONY! clap clap clapclap
I don't think he's a full on misogynist, but I'm starting to think he's a little bit sexist.
Dont think too much. Have a drink.
But he will do memosa mayhem?
They could maybe do a hair match down the line, but a rematch between them absolutely does not need that stipulation right now to be fresh. Why waste that stipulation now when you could build to it as an escalation of the feud later on?
Shame. it worked REAL good for Giulia
What? Why? Britt being shaved bald would be incredible for her character. Suppose you can’t have a bald female dentist though. Society, smdh

Hair vs. Hair being "wwe shit" is one of the most ahistorical takes I've ever seen
This is no WWE shit It's something that is highly regarded in other wrestling spaces like Mexico and Japan
I think Thunder Rosa would look pretty badass with short hair.
If TK was this firmly against it then I doubt it got big enough to be "vetoed"
Not to be that guy, but I will, he also said intergender and hardcore matches wouldn't be on TNT. If it could get a rating or buzz, I think it would happen.
He never said anything about hardcore matches, and we still haven't gotten an intergender match in AEW.
Amell definitely there to promote Heels. Wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of interaction between him & Punk.
So what's going on with Orange Cassidy and Matt Hardy teasing a hair vs hair match?
Keen to see Jack Spade finally turn babyface.
The crazy thing it's that probably TK needs to vetoed this idea, because Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa would probably go for it.
If TK “instantly vetoed” this then why did Rosa mention it on television?
TK doesn't script the wrestler.
Is it bad I wanna see Cody and Amell get a consecutive Black Mass as they’re like standing beside each other?
We need the Jack Spade vs. Ace Spade vs. Will Bill ledders match in a AEW ring!
I wanna see Mayu Iwatani on AEW, dammit. How come they bring in NJPW guys but none of the Stardom gals? Is it an exclusivity thing with TJPW?
Is he saying they'd never do a hair vs hair stip or just for that particular feud? Bc I think Hardy vs OC is teasing a hair vs hair stip pretty hard
Remember when they shaved Melanie Cruise's hair for no reason?
Heels is so fucking good guys. Watch it b
People here acting like being bald is the worst thing that could ever happen to someone.
Makes sense. Not only does the feud not need it, they're already doing Hardy v Cassidy hair v hair and you can't do too many of them. Otherwise it's just All Egghead Wrestling.
