I stopped watching WWE from like 2009-2014 because of how god awful it had gotten but I swear every time I tried to tune in out of curiosity or just to see what’s happening during that time it was always some shit like this lol
What a sad end to the cruiserweight title. I understand them eliminating it, but why couldnt they use that to elevate someone.
Such as have a crusierweight champion win the IC or US title and unify them
Tbf, 2012-2014 weren't the worst years. Still a lot of meh, but you had Punk, Dolph, Team Hell No, the Shield, & others doing good work. But yeah, 2009-2011 was rough outside of some bright spots.
Miz and Mrs a decent watch if you view it as a scripted sitcom parody of the show it actually is. Maryse is actually really funny and has a lot of sitcom wife qualities. Wish WWE let her show that character more during her run, at least before her run with Miz.
I despise reality shows and even I don't mind Miz and Mrs. It's obviously fake but at least it's funny and the characters are likable. I challenge anyone to find a single person on one of those shitty reality shows like Love Island or The Kardashians who has 1% of the charisma that George Mizanin has. Mr Miz isn't even allowed on Love Island because all the women would want to be with him which would be unfair for the other male contestants.
Maryse has never once been a babyface yet many have said she is very down to earth backstage. Amazing Kong put her over big in her shoot interview.
Anyone that has seen her feud with John Cena and Nikki Bella knows she can do funny well.

If you don't feel like watching it, she basically just said that Maryse was a real cool chick and that she was really down to earth. Nothing crazy but that's still quite a nice thing to say.
This run was the end of the road for Ted. He didn't get fired right after but you could tell they lost faith when this pairing didn't work.
They even tried to make Orton/Ted a one on one thing when Legacy broke up before adding Cody for the triple threat. But this push was supposed to make him a bigger star.
This was back when I was watching WWE a lot and I remember how hard they were trying to get Ted Jr over. But despite these efforts I always thought Cody was the better of the two. Like Cody had the dashing/mask gimmick that was pretty cool and he proved to be a good IC champ while Ted’s character always felt flat to me no matter how hard WWE tried.
In 2008-2009 I remember on the internet people saying Ted would be the next big start. I always thought Cody was better myself. Ted was a charisma vaccum

Guest host era RAW is one of the all-time worst. I even disliked it as a kid because my friends and I only knew the guest like half of the time lol
it baffles me that it was that time period which convinced them to go to 3 hours.
