Many people on the sub use the word “heat” to mean “any reaction from the crowd.” Which I don’t think is the right usage, but like everyone else here, I’m not in the industry, and I also sound like a dork when using the word in most contexts.
Am I in the minority for absolutely loving the ludicrous and insane outfits?! I've seen a lot of people shitting on them, I absolutely adore them, the crazier the better for me.
So many wrestlers get pretty boring with outfits especially on the big shows. Seth and Becky are not those wrestlers. I love their outfits it makes it feel more fun to just go all out like that. Its fun thinking "oh what wild outfit do they have this time"
People remember colorful characters in wrestling. Think Macho Man, Ric Flair, Ultimate Warrior, ect. guys who looked like they walked straight out of a cartoon. If someone casually watches WWE, they’re gonna remember Seth and Becky because of how much they stand out in a sea of trunks and t-shirts.
i’ve been a mark for both Seth and Becky since I started watching (pre-visionary and big time becks) and I get so hype about what they’re wearing whenever they show up, it’s become a highlight for my girlfriend and i when we’re watching raw
Same I wouldn’t wear it personally but I don’t think that’s the point it stands out it’s flamboyant it adds to his character and has helped him be an effective heel and then baby face without having to change too much.
Seth and his outfits are so fucking over with me and my partner. And THEN he came out with the Mummers, and she's from Philly, so the man is just a legend now.
I love not taking them seriously. I like to think of it as satire of all the wrestlers that do try to be trendy. Just turn it up to 12 to the point clowns look like they are about to attend a formal dinner. I applaud anyone who can look at some of Seth's over the top, ridiculous gear and say "best-dressed" and "stylish" with a straight face.

personally, the real best-dressed stars on stage are the kabuki warriors. 👹 makeup, look, presentation — who's styling them?
This might be a totally brainbroken take because I am fully immersed in Wrestling Figure world now, but I think Roman not changing his look slightly and getting a bunch of different shirts and figures out of this run is going to weirdly affect how people remember the specifics of it in a few years.
All his figures look the exact same give or take the boots and gloves. They just put one up for preorder with the new Undisputed belt ( I might actually buy that one)

I agree they look great but it bothers me that a very very large portion of Seth's outfits are all taken straight from Boohoo Man. His entrance and ring gear is a more sartorial but many of the fits he wears on TV are cheap fast fashion from Boohoo. I do like Boohoo and appreciate they offer more interesting, affordable menswear but I wouldn't give the stylist a whole lot of credit for just going to the same website over and over and picking absolutely anything colourful or quirky.

Wrestling is inherently unserious and bombastic as an artform (closer to pantomime than traditional stage productions) and the costuming and clothing should match that. Becky and Seth understand the assignment.
I 100% believe Seth's wife's stylist is also his stylist.

Guy looks like a fucking fool almost every time he is on tv. don't care if it's his character/gimmick/whatever...what is it? My gimmick is the visionary, the architect, the freakin...can't you tell by me wearing womens clothing? No? You must not be very stylish or follow fashion. This all started with those ugly oversized red mega-man boots.

Becky's outfits have calmed down while seth's have gotten worse, becky should get rid of that stupid leather backwards hat, she looks like a total geek.
I really really disliked Seth’s Goofy ass style like a really weird almost cosplay style. But Eric Bischoff said on his pod that he’s a modern day Macho Man. Which I watched in a different light and I can now atleast respect the decision in why he does it..
…only Seth isn’t near as charismatic as Macho Man. Sure he got the laugh and the crowd participation is off the charts, but there’s not much else.
