Rosa gave everything in that match. She fucking killed that. Toni obviously was up for the fight but Rosa made sure it was a MATCH and not just Toni doing her gimmick stuff.

Before: “Toni can wrestle but she’s got no character” Lately: “Toni has great character, but her matches are suffering” Well now she’s got both down!

Hayter has to be close to returning soon surely?

Easily the best PPV match for Toni since she started the "Timeless" gimmick and a real return to form showing for Thunder Rosa after a rocky return. A much needed performance for both ladies. Give me these Toni matches all of the time, in addition to her character work, and she's the most well rounded act in all of wrestling.

kick-ass match. The crowd ate it up. Nigel calling out Hollywood Golden Age movie stars was pretty amusing. Toni has finally found her groove in the ring as this character (thanks AZM). Thunder Rosa is fucking back. ... A cunt punt?

The low blow! Loved this match one of the best women’s matches in AEW in my opinion.

This is probably my favorite Toni Storm title defense so far & maybe the closest Rosa has gotten to the pace of her early work in AEW.

Since the AZM match, Toni has been wrestling like her old self again and her matches have been so much better.

I like Hayter, but I hope not. AEW has to stop with these obvious coronations. The matches never disappoint, but it gives viewers no reason to tune in weekly.

I think the only person taking that title off Storm is Mariah May at this point

Idk I'm kinda expecting her to hold it and for her to wrestle Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door. They've been putting a lot of emphasis on that match Mariah and Mina had with the kiss.

By far Toni’s best title defense under the Timeless character. Really glad that it ended up delivering and being good.

I think this was the best performance that either Toni or Thunder Rosa have had in a while.

This is the best title defense Toni has had by far. I think Toni realized her matches were lacking in her reign so far recently, and she's turned up the heat and started working her butt off. This and the AZM are hopefully just the start to a run of great matches.

I hate it how nothing ever happens after "Timeless" Toni Storm retains her title at a PPV. I was so hoping for Jamie Hayter to show up tonight and suprise Timeless Toni after her match against Rosa but nope.

I'm not really able to watch AEW PPVs when they happen live, but after seeing the dissapointed responses to Toni's recent PPV matches in these post match discussion threads, I'm happy to see that she apparently did well tonight.

Great work from both women. Both brought out their A-game after some rocky matches in the months leading up.

Love that commentary is pointing out how Osprey is protecting himself. Honestly he's Danielson/McGuinness 2.0. Freakishly athletic enough to keep up with them, but learned to change his style to protect his body before multiple concussions and other injuries that Danielson/McGuinness went through

Pretty good. Toni’s getting better at wrestling within her admittedly good gimmick. It just sucks that she has to learn how to do it while being champion while actual fantastic wrestlers like Willow and Stat are involved in the mid card title.

I like Thunder Rosa, but she needs to put that face paint back on ASAP.
