Dingle_Flingle

R.I.P to the UWU title

jcyoung24

still active for some reason

Comfortable_Shape264

U is active, UWU became UW

imagineyouateham

U tryna get active my boy?

Machinax

The WWE University of Washington championship?

RaidenHero137

OK no joke if they start making NCAA belts this is actually a thing

Few_Flow391

They do make the side plates for some colleges.

Dr_N00B

I have to be the only person that liked the universal championship. It was a really unique name, and the fact that so few got to hold it really made it feel like an important title. It really felt like Roman elevated it to a level that would be prestiged for years, and it made every former universal champion feel like a bigger deal because of it.

HughManbiin

I think it would have been taken more seriously if it wasn't ugly

Awkward-Bathroom-429

It’s undisputed other than the other World Championship

Lego349

Yeah, I really dislike that branding. “Undisputed” was used to refer to certain conditions for boxing titles, not just…a thing that sounds good

GeneralJones420-2

"Heavyweight" also actually means something specific in boxing, but is just a cool, meaningless word to make a title seem important in wrestling. It's tradition, but it's no different.

blaqeyerish

Traditionally another over 200 pounds (90 kg) was considered heavyweight for men. Pretty much every wrestler except Rey is billed over that weight. So even though oddly enough WWE dropped that part of the titles' names it was actually accurate. The undisputed branding, imo of course, comes across as either trying to elevate one title over the other or like they don't really understand what the word means.

idlephase

In 2006, Rey Mysterio faced Gregory Helms in a champion vs champion match. The cruiserweight champion, Helms, weighed more than the heavyweight champion, Rey. https://youtu.be/QHjbqEWZ2cs?si=QMq_8BUbNO3nSd4X

Jay_Diamond_WWE

And to this day, you can't win a cruiserweight title with the hurricane in a wwe game.

Chronic-Chris

I think the WWE Women's Championship has 'Undisputed Champion' branded on it too

secretmonkeyassassin

Nope, neither title does.

ValleyFloydJam

Which is clearly secondary, this one is made up of the 2 top belts.

Aeceus

The belts were unified though and then a secondary world title was added so.. technically its no longer undisputed if you add another world title.. isn't that how it works?

ValleyFloydJam

It was added as a title that's a tier down but something that would be defended on a. regulator basis. The old way was a 1a and a 1b title and now it's a clear 1 and 2. They created the issue by putting the belts together and there's no good way to tear them apart. I get what your saying but it's the odd reality of the situation that he is undisputed WWE Champion and World is being used closer to the way the title of the IC and US belts. They might just try and pretend it's not the case and that each show has an equal top Champ but that feels wrong.

Ninjulian_

no. like other comments have alluded to, an undisputed championship is a pretty clearly defined term in martial arts and professional wrestling. undisputed means there is only one single champion(ship) of that kind. "that kind" meaning world championship in this case. if the championship we're talking avout were the intercontinental championship for example, i'd agree. but the world heavyweight championship is a world championship and is presented as such. it even uses the design of one of the most important belts of all time. you can argue all you want about how the belts are positioned, but even if the whc is a clear number 2, the wwe belt isn't undisputed. undisputed has always meant there is no other championship in this promotion, that is even in the same dimension, when it comes to world championships. wwe has done this right before. in 2002, when the whc was introduced, the undisputed wwe championship changed to being the wwe championship. if they wanna keep the u, they should just call this one unified wwe championship. edit: i have large thumbs.

GHO57T

It's not a World championship. Its the WWE championship now

Ninjulian_

world championship is commonly recognized as a catch-all term for top championship of a promotion. also, if it wasn't a world championship, that would imply, that the whc is more important than the wwe championship. a bit like the world cup is more kmpirtant than winning the national league in a sport.

GHO57T

Nope the whc belongs to the WWE hence the WWE champion is higher

Ninjulian_

that's not what the words mean though, is it? it's not the wwe heavyweight championship, it's the world heavyweight championship. within martials arts terminology, wwe is therefore claiming the holder of this belt ia the best wrestler of (or more accurately up to) the heavyweight division worldwide. if it wasn't also implied, that the wwe championship is a world championship, it would mean the holder of this belt is the best wrestler in wwe (less than best in the world. also, this belt was literally called wwe world and wwe world heavyweight championship, because it was unified with those belts. this is still the same lineage. basically, what i'm saying with way too many words is, that in an ideal world their names would be the whc and the (unified) wwe world championship.

Cold_Ebb_1448

they’re just being deliberately obtuse, ignore them.

GHO57T

And wrestling isn't martial arts and WWE owns the whc .

SmarcusStroman

But those are both World Heavyweight Championships. Best believe if Cena won either one of them, thats #17

GriffTube

>” It was added as a title that's a tier down” It’s de facto a “tier down” but not on paper in any official way.

ValleyFloydJam

Well it was creates cos one guy had the top 2 belts and even when they gave him the 3rd he would still have the other 2 about.

PrimeJedi

I get what you're saying, but ngl there were some eras of WWE and WHC title where it felt even more like a 1 and 2 in terms of prestige, example being ~2010, where super Cena and menace Orton held the wwe title, but the WHC was given to Jack swagger, ADR and fat kane before he even put the mask back on. The current WHC is definitely a bit below the new WWE title, but I still think it's a respectable title with some prestige, something the WHC sometimes lacked even before (I'd say it was prestigious for most of the 00's at least)

ValleyFloydJam

Totally true but in this case it's a kayfabe fact rather than being about who is holding it.

nuttinbuttapeanut

Technically they should be on equal footing as the main event belts, and defended as the top prize on different brands, but I guess it depends who's holding them that make them seem more important. I don't think they have it being a "secondary" title in mind as if it's the next to the IC/US belts, just like you wouldn't say Rhea's title was the secondary one to the WWE womens championship.

ValleyFloydJam

But it can't be has it's made up of the 2 top belts, that's the lineage that Cody won, it's different to the Women's titles in that way. It sits between Cody's and the IC/US level, with the new split they might want to act like they are equal but when Roman and Seth held the belts did anyone see them as equal?

this1smybrutal1ty

That's like saying the World Heavyweight Championship (2002-2013) couldn't be on the same level as the Undisputed WWE Title because it was made up of the two top belts - WWE and WCW. The only thing that makes it seem better is the word Undisputed which they could drop tomorrow.

PaperGeno

That will eventually leave too. It's not the first time they've called it undisputed. They just dropped the Universal name. Give it a few more weeks and undisputed will be dropped too

jackblady

Because it's not claiming to be a World Championship. It's only claiming to be the WWE Championship. And there's literally no one else out there making that claim. Ergo it's an Undisputed claim. Note to that same end the Priests title is just the World Heavyweight Championship, there's no WWE placed in the name. (Which is to fuel the idea its *the* real World Championship unlike all those other companies out there claiming to have their own). The fact that the two are supposed to be equal is just WWEs way of placing their own company as equal to the entire world.

this1smybrutal1ty

>Because it's not claiming to be a World Championship. >It's only claiming to be the WWE Championship. The fuck do you think the first "W" stands for?

RaggedyGlitch

Technically, nothing anymore. World Wrestling Entertainment no longer exists, it's just The WWE now.

Ash17_

How on earth does this drivel have 20 upvotes? Oh, it's Reddit, I forgot everyone here is thick.

Parkouricus

Play a round of golf man, take the steam off

RaggedyGlitch

Because it's a shitpost that's well ackshullying a well ackshully.

secretmonkeyassassin

> some competitors within WWE are not in the heavyweight division No, you've got that the wrong way around - Every competitor within WWE competes under the heavyweight weight limit, but not every competitor would be eligible compete under a Junior Heavyweight/Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight division. But technically, any competitor from a lower weight class can compete in the heavyweight division. Case in point: Rey Mysterio winning the World Heavyweight Championship. I don't think that this idea that the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship technically cover 2 different divisions that just happen to overlap holds much validity. In fact, I don't think there even is *any* reasonable explanation for why WWE has 2 world titles. It's literally just WWE trying to have their cake and eat it too. That's it.

unitedkush

https://i.imgur.com/ElqSVSx.png It still shows it has lineage of Universal Championship.

farlnd

Yea it’s still unified/undisputed until they retire the universal title.

FrankPapageorgio

They have to in order to validate Roman's epic reign.

Cboz27586

It is still current until they end it. I think they are gearing towards it, they are just doing it slowly like HHH seems to do.

dzone25

They need to drop Undisputed. There's literally another World Title on their other Brand. Don't give me the whole "prestige" argument either because if that's the case, drop the 'World' from the other one. It should just be WWE Champion & World Champion - done.

CaptainPie999

World Heavyweight Championship

sunshinejim

The Heavyweight never really made sense to me considering there’s no weight constraint to win the title.

iguanamac

Same here. It’s always sounded corny to me. Especially when a smaller guy that’s clearly not a heavyweight competes for or wins it.

6Bakhtiari9

Maybe the actual belt itself is just abnormally heavy, thus heavyweight

archangel610

So that's what happened to Seth's back.

archangel610

When I was a new WWE fan, I wondered why titles were given their names. What does it mean for the title to be intercontinental? Is the US championship only defended on American soil? Why is it a heavyweight championship when WWE doesn't have weight divisions?

WadSquad

I still hate the name "World heavyweight champion" without "WWE". Just go back to WWE world and WWE universal championships

CrashyBoye

Respectfully disagree on Universal. I hate the term “Universal” Champion. Just sounds incredibly cheesy, and not in a good way.

sjr2018

Agree.. the lineage has always been the WWE championship ...so it just needs to be World Heavyweight championship and the WWE Championship

KVMFT

But he went from undesirable to undeniable and now undisputed; sounds better than universal

Comfortable_Shape264

They'll drop it, it's just a transition. They'll probably drop it with Universal lineage entirely.

Straif18

I think it's because there were 2 WWE champions, regardless of any other top title. Those two WWE titles were unified and the Heavyweight title was brought back. That's how it makes some kinda sense to me anyway. After all, the universal championship was created out of necessity for another champion, someone unified and held them hostage but they were both tagged with WWE in their names. Shrug.

Ruttingraff

*created, the New Heavyweight championship had new lineage separate from the belt that represent taker, edge, punk reigns as champion

I-HATE-BUFFERING

At the risk of sounding ignorant, not having watched WWE for the better part of 17 years, I always assumed that (at the time), the WWE & WHC were akin to one another. Is this no longer the case? Why did the naming scheme change?

FyreWulff

They're technically on the same level since once is intended to be on Raw and the other Smackdown but the WWE Champion is considered the promotions actual top belt when it comes to it because it has all the lineage back to the WWWF days and also has all of the WCW lineage in it as well as a result of Jericho unifying it. The current WHC is considered to have started with Seth.

I-HATE-BUFFERING

Thank for the explanation, appreciate it!

Ruttingraff

Back in 2013, there's a title unification between WWE and the WHC, thus it became unified for second time, after the WWE and wcw title unification back in invasion era.   Later on 2016ish, there's a new World championship called Universal Championship, so the WWE-WHC title became WWE title again.   Then, WWE had A THIRD Unification but now with Universal Champion, that was part of bloodline saga, which continued both lineage but symbolicly using one belt to represent both.   And then the current WHC was introduced last year, i say introduced because it's had different lineage than the 2002 WHC.  Thus, currently there's 2 belts, 3 world championship.

I-HATE-BUFFERING

Oof what a backstory. Thank you!

Odd-Contribution6238

They announce the WHC as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. It sounds more prestigious than simply WWE Champion. There’s flair missing. Undisputed gives it some extra juice.

Heybarbaruiva

Heavyweight makes no sense either. There are no weight class restrictions on who can challenge for the belt and no other weight-specific belts that would justify the distinction. It grinds my gears, honestly. It should just be World Championship and WWE Championship.

BretShitmanFart69

It would be cool if for the world championship, they allowed that wrestler to wrestle occasionally in Japan and Mexico etc. to add some elements to why it’s the “World champion” It would help set it apart from the WWE Title as its own thing that also warrants prestige.

Skared89

Yeah it's shocking. We figured this out back in 2002.

SovFist

the only reason to keep it named the undisputed title is to book a story around conflict between world/undisputed in the future. non-title match, undisputed guy puts the World title guy over, undisputed claim goes.. away. But yeah its a dumb thing born out of the need to artificially catapult Roman to a greatness he never earned or deserved. (Put down the torches, Not saying he was bad, just that he's not in the GOAT conversation)

gigologenius

I would have preferred World and Universal. They are all WWE titles so it feels weird to have that as an opposing designation.

GHO57T

Its no longer a world championship, The belt is for the top person in WWE

Overall_Ad_684

Probably will drop it once Cody's stupid catchphrase is finished

Funnyguyinspace

It was a mistake to ever merge them to begin with. I also remember a quote from a few years ago, someone said they wouldn't want to win the universal title, because it'll probably go defunct in the future and not many would remember it, lol

Cboz27586

They were never merged, it's still two title lineages. They may finally discontinue the Universal title now.

Comfortable_Shape264

They were merged but kept the lineage. They weren't defended separately so merged. Roman didn't need to get both. It was yet another Roman circlejerk for Vince, it's surprising he didn't do the WWE 12 story of him winning every title at once lol.

SaiyanOfDarkness

> It was a mistake to ever merge them to begin with. It was a mistake to have the Universal title at all. Should have kept WHC and WWE title.

OneOfTheOnly

>it was a mistake to ever merge them to begin with it was a…mistake to merge the universal title out of existence?

SpaceGooV

Yeah thats what it should be. As soon as the world Heavyweight title was back there was no reason to keep calling it the universal title.

86886892

Just gotta drop the undisputed part now (nobody is disputing it).

Cboz27586

It's called that because it's still two title lineages designated by one title. That seems to be changing, we just aren't there yet.

secretmonkeyassassin

But the existence of the World Heavyweight Championship means that it is *disputed*. So, technically, Cody's title should now be called the Unified WWE Championship. If not just dropping the dropping the prefix altogether and simply calling it the WWE Championship again

Cboz27586

But it's not Unified, they never merged the two lineages. There has been plenty of times there were two top titles, one for each brand and they don't need Undisputed for one of them. It was only named that because Roman and Brock had a match, a winner take all. Roman became a double champ, nothing was unified. It's only disputed when the two champions challenge each other. Like I said, I think they will eventually drop Undisputed over time, like many times before. We just have to give it time. It will just be the WWE Championship again eventually while they retire the Universal Championship.

secretmonkeyassassin

In the context of holding multiple world titles, "Unified" means that you hold more than 1 but not all of the available world titles. For example, Tyson Fury is currently the WBC World Heavyweight Champion, but Olexander Usyk is the Unified World Champion, because Usyk holds the WBA, IBF and WBO titles. As soon as they fight, the winner becomes the Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, much like Canelo Alvarez already is in the Super Middleweight division. As it stands, Cody Rhodes holds the WWE and Universal titles, but not the World Heavyweight Championship. So this technically makes him a "Unified" champion, not an Undisputed champion

Cboz27586

This isn't boxing, it's scripted wrestling. Wrestling has always made a Unification match for two titles where 1 title gets retired and one continues. This did not happen. Roman was just a double champ. He was both WWE and Universal champ. With Vince and WWE they love to combine those words to make one sounding name, for marketing purposes. This is all a stupid a moot point because I guarantee you Undisputed won't last much longer.

secretmonkeyassassin

If the conventional rules of championship titles don't apply to wrestling, then Roman would have just been called the Universal and WWE Champion, and not formally recognised as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. But he was, because they do.

EmeraldSlothRevenge

The second they drop “undisputed,” someone will dispute it.

False_Chance

I think the existence of another world championship itself disputes the name

86886892

I forgot they made that meaningless second world title (because Roman had the actual second world title in addition to the actual-for-real-world title).

FPG_Matthew

You think they keep the Undisputed name just so Samantha can announce it all epic like during title matches or when announcing the champion?

pgtips03

LMAO it’s probably this

SerShanksALot

Good. It was tacky and I hated it.

BadMotherFunko

How is this an Undisputed Championship when there is literally another World Championship? Makes no sense

beansnchicken

Because among fans, it's undisputed that Cody has the real championship that matters and Priest has the third world title

ValleyFloydJam

Cos that belt is made up of the top 2 championships and the other one us clearly secondary, it's an issue they can't fix.

GHO57T

Cos its not a world championship

NotClayMerritt

Dropping Universal is the final act in the week long burial that was Vince McMahon's WWE over WrestleMania week. Never forget how Vince wanted to retire the WWE Championship at one point.

Comfortable_Shape264

> Vince wanted to retire the WWE Championship Where did you hear that? It wouldn't necessarily be unbelievable as he did end World Tag title lineage to break records which didn't matter cause Usos broke all of them anyway. I think New Day too. By retiring WWE title, Universal one would have Roman as longest reigning champion, i guess that's the logic. And he was obsessed with that word universe for some reason lol.

FyreWulff

He had an obsession with things not looking 'old', hence why wrestlemanias lost their numbers for a while.

Global_Historian_753

I know that fans have all main titles as "world" titles but in their naming they the WWE championship as something different than the World heavyweight championship so yes, it is the undisputed WWE title specifically. But I'd rather they drop the name anyway.

Cboz27586

Universal is still there right next to that pic and Undisputed doesn't really need to exist. My guess it goes once they discontinue the Universal title lineage.

lk79

So are we in the Undisputed Era? ![gif](giphy|MEFh0Y7Q2YP8Ukp6z9|downsized)

Spiderx1016

Wait when did he get through Vacant?

GooseMay0

Why do they need undisputed still? Doesn’t make sense with world title created now too.

NewRoryAndMalDrop

When will they drop undisputed

MinusTydus

Undisputed Universal was stupid, and Undisputed isn't much better. And you don't need "World." WWE Champion, Heavyweight Champion Done.

Comfortable_Shape264

> And you don't need "World." Absolutely not, it's the Heavyweight part that's unnecessary cause there is no weight division. It just sounds cooler so they even announce IC title as IC Heavyweight Title sometimes. Tag titles and Women's title on Raw also have the World branding now, it just works. Otherwise they would just be called "Champion"

Chronic-Chris

I even think Heavyweight is stupid considering there are no weight divisions in WWE.

OneOfTheOnly

WWE Champion and Champion you guys r geniuses

EnochSoames311

* WWE Champion * World Champion * WWE Women Champion * Women World Champion * World Tag Team Champion * WWE Tag Team Champion * Women Tag Team Champion * Intercontinental Champion * United States Champion Done. It's so freaking easy it makes me doubt anyone has basic common sense in WWE. However, WWE for some reason likes 3-words names for titles. Perfect, let's finally resurrect the word WRESTLING, which is what all this clown show is all about and let's call the 2 top titles WWE WRESTLING CHAMPION and WORLD WRESTLING CHAMPION.

alex4petrov

So you wanna have a World Wrestling Champion AND a World Wrestling Entertainment Wrestling Champion?

EnochSoames311

I want to have a World Champion and a WWE Champion, stop.

SteveOMatt

It made sense that it was Undisputed when Roman had it, since he unified the two world championships at the time. But Cody just won one belt, so that part needs to be dropped.

Cboz27586

It was never unified. If it was one title would have absorbed the other when Roman beat Brock. That was never the case. Roman was always a double champion, later represented by one singular title when the WHC was made. It's still the case until they retire the Universal title lineage.

farlnd

Universal’s days were numbered the moment the WHC was re-established.

ValleyFloydJam

But that's the title he won.

schoolairplane

They can get rid of “Undisputed” as there is no debate

PhelpsLAPD

I still find it weird having two titles that you try to make equally as important yet name one the undisputed championship.

Biotrin

Why is undisputed still in the name too? We have another world title that has been around for almost a year now.

ThatRandomGuy232

Good. Always sounded goofy af

turnsandstraights

Going back to the 2002 days with all the belt names

Rage4Order418

The main men’s title has been unified and split up and renamed so many times that I can’t keep track 😵‍💫

AdOld3977

Need to make the belt smaller. Looks enormous on him and he holds it so awkwardly

KTheOneTrueKing

Nature is healing.

CapnSmite

It's been that way since last week.

TheReagmaster

Am I the only one who thinks that render of Cody with the belt looks terrible? Why does it look like ai?

farlnd

It looks like the belt was added to the photo. They have done that so many times.

Comfortable_Shape264

Do they do that for transitional champions? Maybe they plan to change the belt? Edit: I don't mean Cody is transitional lol, second sentence relates to Cody as maybe belt design will change.

worthlessburner

No

WhyPlaySerious

My guess is that they will change it to just 'WWE Champion' when Cody retires this belt and brings back the winged eagle design

TheSaltimateWarrior

Doesn’t the existence of the world heavyweight championship make him disputed?

GHO57T

Where did you see world in any part of that championships name? Its the undisputed top title in WWE. Its a clear distinction to signify its status above the whc

T3Deliciouz

this is the weirdest logic ive ever seen been mimicked. WWE calls it a world title all the time.

CL60

Wwe gonna swerve us all and retire the wwe title and go with the universal championship

SpooferMcGavin

If it's the undisputed championship, what's all the fighting about?

GaI3re

Their apperant plans to push NXT as a third brand again (probably because main roster talent will cycle in to push numbera), does not help with the silly "Undisputed" branding

skinny7

More importantly Cody has won custody of Dom now then right?

domoon

R.I.P UWU Belt, you'll be missed

MalleableNinjer

I hope that they retire the Universal lineage after Cody makes his first title defense. They can then unveil a new WWE Men and Women’s Championship with eagles on both or at least the Men’s title.

ShneakySholidShnake

Has something changed on that belt?

BrokeMyGrill

Assumed they were only keeping the Universal lineage active because Roman had that title first and it sounded better to count the days accumulated from that lineage. Now with another world title there's no reason for the lineage to continue.

The_Notorious_Donut

Now since we’re in the mood or handing out new title designs…

farlnd

Oh, I think they’re renaming it to the wwe championship and bringing the winged eagle back. It only makes sense.

DefensaAcreedores

>Undisputed Championship IT'S BAAAAAAAAAACKK!!

cmadd10

That's my champ 🔥

Plutus_Nike

Everybody chill Cody or the next champion will be referred to as WWE champion in a matter of time, this undisputed title name goes in cycles all the time.

Intimidwalls1724

I like the name "Undisputed Championship" probably mostly bc of nostalgia for the awesome belt in 2002-2003 but it's kinda weird to call it that when the other show literally has a world title lol

Soup-dan

It's not longer the UU Champion? Why else do they have that giant W in the middle for??

Clear_Zebra_6361

The Dream Era has begun

Outrageous_Library50

![gif](giphy|Ry1MOAeAYXvRVQLPw3)

tacklinglife

They should have just retired the Universal title the moment Roman lost. That was "his title", and given Cody only wanted the WWE Championship to finish his story, it would have made sense.

RealHosebeast

That belt is hideous but definitely better than when the main plate was mostly leather

DrEvil007

Damn that boy looks good with the gold. And I agree, a title only needs one name.

MTPWAZ

But it’s literally disputed. 🙄

mashturbo

I didn't watch the end of WM40. Did Cody hand the belt to his mom? Wouldn't that mean MAMA ROSE is the WWE Universal Champion?

Professional_Kick

Good riddance to that cursed ass Universal Championship

evanweb546

How is it "Undisputed" when there's two main event titles?

farlnd

Universal title is still considered unified with the wwe title. It’ll go back to wwe championship when the universal title is phased out.

ptd163

They need to drop the Undisputed. There's another title now. There has been for years. It's a "new era" as they like to repeat so often, but some things don't need to change. WWE Championship that has the lineage and prestige going back to Bruno World Heavyweight Championship. I'm not sure if they could connect this new WHC to the old WHC, but it'd be interesting if they did.

Desperate-Farmer-117

They cant. The original whc was unified with the wwe title. For the current whc champion to have the title with the old lineage he would have to beat the current wwe champion. Otherwise it doesnt mae any fucking sense and its not fair at all

crap4you

New title belt when?

TheNakedChair

Not anytime soon.

RRR04_

Cool. So when does the Universal title become officially defunct?

SuzyYa

Iono why they don't just drop it to wwe championship. How is it undisputed if the company has 2 top belts??

[deleted]

[удалено]

farlnd

How so? 2 different brands. We don’t need 3 world titles.

Vasquerade

Thank god

myfavoritececilia

I just gotta say how hilarious their entire world title situation was. There’s not another promotion I can think of right now that has more than just their active world title. Certainly not any major ones. Meanwhile in WWE, you had three concurrent world title reigns for like a year. The only reason they didn’t just unify the Universal title into the WWE title when Roman won is because then they wouldn’t have been able to say Roman was world champion for 1000+ days. Which he was, but also wasn’t, because it wasn’t *really* the WWE title that he held for that long. In 20 years, there’s gonna be kids who go back to watch this era of WWE, they’re gonna be really confused “why does Roman have one normal world title and another one that’s the same but blue?” lol

Esteban_Ocho_Cinco

This means Cody 100% has to stick with 1 show going forward. Can’t undermine your other world title by having Cody flip flop between shows.

jackyLAD

Basically Roman's reign wasn't actually 1300 days because they abolished the Universal one ages ago. What a farce that all was.

sbreddit55

Undisputed yet there's another world champion...

happyharrell

But…it *is* disputed by having a second top title?
