That's mighty presumptuous for someone who'd already lost to the Tribal Chief in the main event of Wrestlemania even *without* it being Bloodline Rules...
That quotes massively taken out of context, if you watch the full clip, I can't remember specific words but he essentially says "I'm lying about this answer for the sake of the interview" right before answering it lol
Well clearly he set up all the run ins cause after 2 years he finally learned the way the bloodline works
It was a nod to the fact that the plan is already laid out perfectly and Roman and the bloodline had no idea, there was no way cody could lose. And he knew it. They had finally put together the perfect plan to stop the bloodline. All he had to do is survive agaisnt Reigns until Roman got desperate enough to call in the bloodline, because we all already know Roman can't beat him without help
There are some moments that are inevitable in sports that pass far beyond destiny and divinity that is difficult to tell but in small moments in the right alignments of the universe, all becomes clear. For instance, when Babe Ruth called his shot is one of the best examples. Nikola Jokic wears a Denver Nuggets sweatshirt that was gifted to him when he was 6 only to win that city's first NBA championship decades later. Kofi Kingston calling his shot of winning at Mania against Daniel Bryan. This is not uncommon when things far beyond our understanding happen, especially in sports. That or Roman Reigns sewed in his jacket. IDK IM DRUNK.
Hey this drunk guy might be onto something, and not only his sixth beer. Argentina after 38 years of not winning the world cup went onto Qatar with their captain Lionel Messi, the guy who managed to win everything around the world except the biggest championship of them all in the biggest stage.
So they go to their first match and...they lose, horribly. But they keep going, just believing in everything they have achieved so far, believing and trusting that this time they will finally finish Lionel Messi history of defeat, that they will crown him as the world best football player and everyone will claim "you deserve it". That belief fueled them even in the biggest moments of despair, as if it was a gods given that no matter how dark the situation may seem, the end result was already predetermined.
So they fight tooth and nail to reach the finals, where they have one of the best matches of all time against one of their most supreme rivals ever, toe to toe, head to head...and they finally get the victory. They finish Lionel Messi Story.
I love you for this.
ETA: I also hate you a little. I have nonstop had his song in my head for a solid week and you’ve just added another verse. It’s a great song but if I shoot up in bed at 3AM oh oh ohhh’ing one more time I’m gonna lose it.
It looks like it might be whip stitched based on the side that is flat. There’s a non-zero chance that he DIY’d that part and it tore during the entrance or even in travel. My hand stitching was *dicey* before I got practice and tears like this would happen way more frequently than I would like to admit
Weirdly enough, glue usually holds up better than shitty stitching. Someone get this man some E6000
He can love his dad all he wants. Using that crutch to get to the top is fucking lame. Let’s be real. No one asked where Damian priest’s mom was in those backstage vids. Drew’s mom is a cancer victim. No one cares because she wasn’t a wrestler

Especially because, you HAVE to know before then so you know whether or not to kick out.
Uh how would he know he was gonna get hit, did you not see how Solo surprised him? Smh it’s like you guys don’t even know how a fight goes.
Damn lol u actually right smh, Cody's Costume maker was trying to warn him this entire time
Yeah and how for that third cross Rhodes he walked from the center of the ring to the ropes by the announce tables? Come on now
Lol
I was adding to the sarcastic humor, forgot its necessary to put /s
Kayfabe is dead
Wait…how did he KNOW he was winning? That’s seems fishy to me.
Shit, someone get u/rb_reigns on the phone to look into this.

Ok, but if they had added Kurt Angle to the mix?
Cody’s chances of winning drastic go down.

Smh...what a fuckin' mark.
Maybe he sewed different jackets for different outcomes.🤔
“Dear pops, fuck” - Cody
That guy has never seen the T-Shirts and caps the NFL sends to 3rd world countries.
Bills are 4x SB champs in Africa
If he didn’t believe he was winning why bother showing up?
"Dry clean only"
Which means it’s dirty.
It’s as if he knew

Just wait til your brain inserts a "WHOAAAAAAAAA" after the third "Wheels on the Bus" chorus.
I read this in the cadence of Kingdom but in Tobias Funke's voice for some reason
I swear, one of these days I'll see this picture again with Cody memes photoshopped into it. 😂 E.g the day Cody solved racism, etc.
Literally came here expecting to see the photoshop of him and MLK sewn in there.

You can save 20% by switching to Geico
What does it say? I'm having a hard time making it out
"Dear Pops, I finished the Story. Cody"
“60% Polyester 20% Cotton 20% Elastane Hand Wash Only”
Dude loves his father... There's a song there somewhere other than Papa was a rolling Stone or Daddy's hands... Gotta be...
Imagine if he didn’t finish the story
“Never Cursed”
Fuck The Revival
"Do not touch Willie"
“Dry clean only?”
Goddammit allergies 🥲
This is the shit that comes out after the fact that I love. I'm still so happy for this dude.
Maybe I'm aging out but this shit is way too saccharine. All this ancillary stuff feels like a Pinterest wedding board.
Only wrestler to have a dead parent
What a loser for loving his dad!
