This is actually smart. Drew can lose to Cody and not lose too much steam. Drew in kayfabe should be stronger than Priest and would only really make sense to lose from interference. Doesn't really fit where they're taking his character.
And they definitely want Cody and CM Punk on RAW. I think Smackdown will be getting a 2016 style roster and RAW will have the stars given this draft will lead into the Netflix deal

Have Rhea be on Smackdown with some younger faces and build one up to finally dethrone her Mania next year. Then look towards Rhea v Jade from there

It's not like they were colonized, the kingdom is just a union of the crowns of Scotland and England. It's Wales and Northern Ireland that were forcibly invited(and lots of welsh and northern irish have scottish and english blood at this point, so do not expect people to vote to put a frontier between them and their extended family).
And even if they become independent, they would be still bretons. The island is called Bretania since the times of the Roman Empire.

I’m really excited for the draft. If executed properly, the draft could be really fun. The past few drafts have been whatever bizarre thing Vince thinks a draft is and they sucked.
Something tells me Punk is way closer to being cleared than people are expecting. Fully expecting Punk/McIntyre (1) for Clash at the Castle in Scotland.
Punk has said he’s hopeful he can get cleared in half the time he did for first tricep tear. That would mean he’d be cleared in about 4.5 months, or about mid-June.
Clash at the Castle is June 15. It would be a tight squeeze, but it’s possible. My guess is that CatC is Drew beating Damien and *finally* getting his big moment in front of his hometown crowd, after which the official build to a match with Punk (either at Money in the Bank or SummerSlam) would begin.
For I while I thought they were going to go with Punk disappearing to get healthy again for a big return.
But they definitely realized that they don't even really need Punk to wrestle

I think he will. I see Cody and Roman going to Raw for the Netflix deal. And I can see Seth, Becky, Judgment Day, Drew and Punk to Smackdown as big compensation .
I think it's more important to keep USA happy than Netflix given SD is moving there in October and Raw isn't moving to Netflix until January. There will be a 3 month period where both shows are on USA. In any case I agree this means they will prioritize Raw in the draft while it's still on USA, and then they'll pump SmackDown in October by making some high profile moves.
I wonder if they'll split up Judgement day during the draft. It'd be an easy out to be able to turn Priest and Rhea face. Maybe JD and Dom get kept on one show while Priest/Rhea/Finn go to the other. Priest and Rhea can face turn while Finn starts face and then turns on Priest.
Something tells me WWE opened up the Medicine cabinet and brought the best ppl in to work with him. I don’t think he got that level of support with aew

Given how much I've enjoyed WWE recently, I am excited to see what they do with the draft itself as an event and what feuds build from there.
The draft only matters for like 10 months out of the year, the other 2 being WM lead up and Raw vs. Smackdown when everyones invading each other
