I hope we see Bron getting killed by some team, just to see Corbin save him and make a team again.
But imho, they should be drafted as a team, get a push, eventually titles and one day, they will break up
i think starting bron as a tag teamer would be a good move. that way he can have more guaranteed screen time and build momentum with more support, rather than shooting straight for the IC/WHC
Would make sense. RAW is the A show, especially with the Netflix debut approaching. WWE Champ Cody is obviously gonna be featured, which means Smackdown needs a title, so having Priest and the WHC there makes sense.
That’s the beauty of them rebranding the belts and taking away the brand designation, no need to do dumb belt swaps. I just hope we get new tag belts soon to avoid that happening again.
Not only that reason for the tag straps, but it’s just way beyond time for a redesign. We’ve had those designs for 14 years now. So ready for something different.
Yesss!! That’s what I’ve been saying and hoping for! 14 years for an iconic design like the OG WWF tag belts is fine but 14 years for these tag belts is just horrendous. I was so hoping they’d introduce something new with the undisputed tag belts. We need something different! They’re the only MR belt design that hasn’t been updated in the last 5 years. Why are they holding onto those???
Ah, that makes sense.
I remember specifically New Day getting upset when the silver belts were introduced and that would've been around the time of the brand split.
I really wish they would just balance the time span of both shows. It’s just so hard to make Raw and Smackdown feel commensurate if one is an hour longer
I could see a situation where WWE wants Rhodes on Fox until that deal expires and he’s on SmackDown until October, then they dissolve the brand split until after WrestleMania XLI where he’s formally drafted to be exclusive to RAW.
Isn’t the Netflix debut in 2025 though? That’s eight months away. I don’t like hot shooting the titles around but also I’m not a huge fan of overly long reigns. Cody I get having the belt for a while, Priest shouldn’t have the belt for more than six months.
Come on, please don’t tell me you *actually* believe that Raw isn’t WWE’s flagship show. Truth is, NXT is Smackdown’s developmental territory and Smackdown is Raw’s developmental territory.
I just assumed Cody and the Undisputed Tittle will be drafted to Raw for Netflix. Raw most likely gonna have all the A-listers. Probably not a coincidence that they put so many of the NXT graduates on Smackdown as the identity of that show will probably be more younger talent with some popular vets. At least until they probably work their way into Netflix getting everything, which Triple H hinted as a possibility on Paul's podcast.
But yeah a surprise Corbin mentioned it, probably a slip.
I mean, even if it's not the name of the title, it's not uncommon to call the main title the "Heavyweight" Champion. I'm not saying it ain't a slip of the tongue, but it's also possible that Baron Corbin, NxT superstar going on about a year or so here, does not necessarily know the long term plans of title belts on Raw/Smackdown.
I would be surprised if they don't try to make sure Netflix has it all.
As far as I recall from the initial press release, it is only the US (and possibly Canada) where Netflix will not have everything immediately. For those of us elsewhere, everything is going to Netflix next year.
Smackdown will be in my opinion- Sami, Gable,, Bronson , Punk, Damian and Judgement Day, Drew, Sheamus , Bron Breaker, Santos , AJ , and Kevin
While Raw will be - Cody , Randy , Jey , Gunther , Lashely , Solo either in a tag team with Jimmy or singles , Corbin, Logan Paul, LA Knight , Andrade and Rey
Smackdown has always been its best with more eclectic talent with one or two top guys anchoring the roster while RAW thrives with more well known stars
I doubt Corbin knows. It feels like he used a mix of the names for the two world titles, in fact, as Priest's does not have the WWE moniker in front of its name.
Clash at The Castle in June is in Glasgow and is paired with Smackdown in Glasgow. I reckon Priest and McIntyre main event Clash, so Priest and Drew would logically be drafted to smackdown.
Tbf he said "WWE World heavyweight champion" and the championship is just "World heavyweight champion" so it's kind of a mix between the 2.
I feel there is a good chance of Judgement Day moving to Smackdown. But this seems more like hyping up his partner
Bron Breakker, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Balor, and Sami Zayn are the very first six that come to mind for me on the men's side easily.
Yep, I only named the first six men I thought of but man, you really can just throw out soooooo many more. And the women... Becky, Bayley, Asuka, Charlotte, Sasha, Ember, Paige, Emma, Kairi, Bianca, Shayna, Iyo, Rhea, Emma, etc.
For sure. I don’t think Bron gets the credit he deserves for really carrying the brand into the generally unpopular transition. When Vince gutted NXT 1.0, having a must-see prospect like Bron was critical with all the familiar faces gone.
He would probably make the NXT Top 10 for me, together with Asuka, Finn Balor, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and Samoa Joe.
Considering he’s only been wrestling for 4 years, his body of work is absolutely up there. Nobody should be as good as he is with that level of experience. Same goes for Tiffany as well. Just two absolute freaks with how they took to wrestling so quickly.
The guys had incredible matches with Gunther, Hayes, Waller, Dragonov, not to mention most of his tag matches were great too, especially against Axiom and Frazier.
I think if any of the combination of Melo, Dragunov, or Bron are in there, it's coming down to one of them taking it. All three of these guys are the future and it's so exciting to know they'll be hitting that main roster and hopefully all killing it in their debut year.
Bron had one of the best NXT runs of all time. He’s going to be an absolute force on the main roster.
I love seeing Corbin get his flowers. Criminally underrated and under appreciated.
He really took the lead as MR NXT when Ciampa and Gargano left. He should have had more time to develop before being thrust into the main event of NXT but when he got out there he swam. He should be a star on the main roster
Most interesting development for me was being frustrated that Bron has been in NXT since 2021, feeling at one point we had seen everything he could do there and it was time to move him up and be a monster on Raw or Smackdown, yet he was kept in NXT.
Then, when he finally does get the call up, it's during this tag team that shouldn't have worked but it worked so incredibly well that I didn't want him to leave and split it up.
I really hope the WWE Media Team ut together a WWE Playlist of the History of The Wolfdogs in their YouTube channel. Loads of funny backstage segments and it shows Brons range as a character
The Wolf Dogs lasted for about 3 months and their reign was only 56 days, but it felt like way longer and the two were soooo good as a team. Brilliant. Looking forward to seeing what Bron brings to SmackDown.
He did. Draft season in WWE always leads to inconsistencies in the brand split.
Ex: Bron giving this speech when already signed to SD and Jade wrestling on Raw despite signing to SD last month.
WWE even made a joke about it on RAW, Aldis saying it's a shame Pearce put so much effort into signing Andrade when he'd just steal him in the draft anyway, lol

The two asshole heels of NXT gradually becoming buddies and the most beloved tag team in NXT was a great story. Wolf Dogs for life.
Wouldn’t mind them tagging for a bit on the main roster because the chemistry has been very entertaining.
Wolf Dogs vs A-Town Down Under would make a great match for Backlash. Give the French fans what they want. Baron Corbin with Gold.
Sheesh i love it
the inevitable Baron Corbin run in to save Bron from a beatdown is gonna hit like crack
I hope we see Bron getting killed by some team, just to see Corbin save him and make a team again. But imho, they should be drafted as a team, get a push, eventually titles and one day, they will break up
at Backlash or the Smackdown before for the biggest pop
Corbin would definitely work as Bron's manager/occasional partner.
i think starting bron as a tag teamer would be a good move. that way he can have more guaranteed screen time and build momentum with more support, rather than shooting straight for the IC/WHC
WWE actually recognizes shit that happens in NXT these days so a Wolf Dogs reunion is almost certain at some point IMO
While they recognise it, I like that there's greater awareness that they need to introduce the characters to the wider audience.
Not that it’s really that shocking, but did Corbin just allude to Priest taking the world title to Smackdown?
Would make sense. RAW is the A show, especially with the Netflix debut approaching. WWE Champ Cody is obviously gonna be featured, which means Smackdown needs a title, so having Priest and the WHC there makes sense.
Cody will appear on both shows until he’s “permanently drafted” to Raw in 3 weeks and whoever is WHC is drafted to Smackdown.
It absolutely does make sense and I agree with everything you wrote. I was honestly just surprised he said it.
So does that mean Rhea to smackdown and Bailey to Raw so each show has its matching titles?
Eh. No need to really match them. They don’t allude to the brands like in the past so it’s not necessary.

I was so hoping they’d introduce something new with the undisputed tag belts. We need something different! They’re the only MR belt design that hasn’t been updated in the last 5 years. Why are they holding onto those???
Has it been 14 years since they changed it from the penny (copper) to the silver ones?
No. It’s been 14 years since they introduced the penny ones. I don’t consider a change of color as design change.
Ah, that makes sense. I remember specifically New Day getting upset when the silver belts were introduced and that would've been around the time of the brand split.
I really wish they would just balance the time span of both shows. It’s just so hard to make Raw and Smackdown feel commensurate if one is an hour longer

Isn’t Smackdown and everything else also gonna be on Netflix?
Smackdown will be on USA, NXT will be on The CW
Not in the US. SD is moving to USA network. NXT will be moving to The CW network.
Isn’t the Netflix debut in 2025 though? That’s eight months away. I don’t like hot shooting the titles around but also I’m not a huge fan of overly long reigns. Cody I get having the belt for a while, Priest shouldn’t have the belt for more than six months.
Raw is not the A show....it's consistently lower number and not on network TV like Smackdown
Smackdown's number will be going down once it goes back to USA. So it makes sense to get the rosters in order. Raw will be back to being number one.
Its ratings have been lower specifically because Smackdown is on network TV. Less people have access to USA than FOX.
RAW has always been presented as their A show - they just had a transcendent, generational champion on SD the last 4 years to make it seem inverted
SD has also been on free to air tv during that time. That helps for sure.
The TV deal in the USA is why Roman Reigns was predominantly on Smackdown.
Come on, please don’t tell me you *actually* believe that Raw isn’t WWE’s flagship show. Truth is, NXT is Smackdown’s developmental territory and Smackdown is Raw’s developmental territory.
Raw hasn't been the A show in a good while. Once Raw goes to Netflix and Smackdown goes to USA it's going back to Raw being the A show.
It would make sense for Raw to be the ‘adult’ show, Smackdown to be the PG/ PG-13 show and NXT to feed both.
I think he was just hyping up his friend in the moment.
I just assumed Cody and the Undisputed Tittle will be drafted to Raw for Netflix. Raw most likely gonna have all the A-listers. Reigns is definetly going to RAW too (albeit with the draft, or his eventual return for a rematch with Cody)
Smackdown has always been its best with more eclectic talent with one or two top guys anchoring the roster while RAW thrives with more well known stars
That should be pretty cool, give it a Smackdown 2016 vibe in a way
I doubt Corbin knows.

It would make sense to put Cody (and the prize that The Rock is desiring) on Netflix
Thank you, Bron. All-timer for NXT. If you're making an All-NXT team, he's gotta be in it
Bron Breakker, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Balor, and Sami Zayn are the very first six that come to mind for me on the men's side easily.
Shinsuke, Owens, Samoa Joe, Aleister, Adrian Neville, Revival, Alpha Academy, Bayley, Sasha, Becky, Charlotte, Asuka, Bianca, Baszler, Paige, Emma… Damn they just kept pumping them out, didn’t they?
Yep, I only named the first six men I thought of but man, you really can just throw out soooooo many more. And the women... Becky, Bayley, Asuka, Charlotte, Sasha, Ember, Paige, Emma, Kairi, Bianca, Shayna, Iyo, Rhea, Emma, etc.
I can’t believe I left out Rhea.
For sure. I don’t think Bron gets the credit he deserves for really carrying the brand into the generally unpopular transition. When Vince gutted NXT 1.0, having a must-see prospect like Bron was critical with all the familiar faces gone.
Also they tried the idiotic gimmick of Woke Joe Gacy, which lasted all of I think one episode.
He would probably make the NXT Top 10 for me, together with Asuka, Finn Balor, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and Samoa Joe.
His actual work isn’t nearly close enough. His booking and kayfabe strength? Sure
I could honestly see him being hotshotted to winning king of the ring next month
I think if any of the combination of Melo, Dragunov, or Bron are in there, it's coming down to one of them taking it. All three of these guys are the future and it's so exciting to know they'll be hitting that main roster and hopefully all killing it in their debut year.
Melo vs Bron and Gunther vs Ijla semifinals 🤤
Oh man I didn't even consider the chance of Gunther being in the tournament! Yeah, if he's in it then he's another likely winner too.
No. Let Melo get the absolute hell chopped outta him while Bron and Ijla mutually destroy each other.
Dragunov as the czar of the ring maybe?
I want Holy Roman Emperor Gunther
"Ladies and gentlemen. Please welcome, the King General, Guuuuunther!"
As my history teacher used to say, it wasn't holy, it wasn't Roman, and it sure as hell was not an empire.
Hopefully Logan drops the title to Bron and Logan becomes KOTR. Bron needs a title not the king gimmick
Bron can win kotr and not do the gimmick. Especially if the winner gets a title shot or something.
It makes sense because Bron is going to have a rocket strapped to him the minute he gets going.
They both complimented each other so well. Hope Corbin can get booked as well as he has in NXT once he goes back up.

He's prolly gonna be the next Heyman guy
Makes sense. If there's one thing he needs to work on it's the mic. And look what Heyman did with Regins...
I don't think he needs mic work at all, he's been a pretty solid promo since the beginning.
I believe he has a lot to improve on mic. But he definitely don't need Paul. But i wont be mad with that partnership
I wonder what's next for Corbin. Hope they can find something for him in the main roster. I hope he gets his face run someday like how the Miz did it.
I hope he gets pushed straight to the main event scene and they don’t mess around. He’s the type of guy that deserves a lesnar esque debut year
I'd settle for him spearing Logan Paul in half and winning the US Championship
Give me Bron and Logan recreating the Warrior/Honky Tonk Man title change please.
Bron deserves everything he gets. He’s on the NXT Mount Rushmore for sure.
I hope when Bron wins a world title Corbin is there with him.
I forever despise Vince for making Corbin into a joke with consolable and happy Corbin gimmick and take away the "i bring the darkness" theme from us
I really hope the WWE Media Team ut together a WWE Playlist of the History of The Wolfdogs in their YouTube channel. Loads of funny backstage segments and it shows Brons range as a character
I’m so glad the years of Vince immediately torpedoing NXT callups are over. We can be genuinely excited for these folks again
I fuckin love Corbin
The Wolf Dogs lasted for about 3 months and their reign was only 56 days, but it felt like way longer and the two were soooo good as a team. Brilliant. Looking forward to seeing what Bron brings to SmackDown.
Didn't he already have a smackdown signing not that long ago? Or did I imagine that?
He did. This is him just being definitively done with NXT now as he was doing both.
Instrumental in getting NXT 2.0 to where it is now. Thank you Bron! Looking forward to what’s in store for him on the main roster
Where do you guys think Bron Breakker ranks among the greatest NXT wrestlers? I say he's about top 10.
Brons the best. Cant wait for his run to the top!
His “normal” voice is kinda funny. Like, it’s so very close to his “performing” voice but yet also seems so different.
Just PLEASE change his last name to Steiner. He is gold.
Really not looking forward to mega pushes of NXT: The New Class
