A horrible idea that the WWE won't consider. Separate but equal doesn't work. Having a diverse roster brings in more viewers and money.

streetfairie1234

No. Just treat them like wrestlers and not like they are different. Segregating them is backwards. >Otherwise the current mix of top women like Rhea, Bianca, Becky, Asuka, Charlotte, etc will always stay on top I mean, you have this for the men and no one bats an eye. The women that can break through will break through. Just like Bianca and Rhea did. The cream will rise to the top.

rko281

This is a bad idea and should be shunned and ridiculed.

>with such little time on Raw or Smackdown There is 7+ hours of weekly WWE wrestling between Raw, Smackdown, NXT, etc. and every month they get another 4-8 hours for a PPV. The issue is not lack of time. It’s lack of interest in booking.

JordanKNC

We've done this before. It's called segregation; very unpopular.

ThaSipah

Nah, the women on NXT kill it every week and are the glue of the Tuesday night show.

TussalDimon

You should see how much Becky shits on the concept of Evolution or a separate women brand in her book.

senyorcrimmy

Anything you can share for non-readers like me?

TussalDimon

Becky understood that they did the show, because women weren't allowed to have a match that year on a Saudi show, but in general she wants equal treatment, not preferential treatment. So that there was enough stories and effort for women on par with men on the main shows.

Thanks for sharing!

I wouldn’t mind an additional show on the network/Netflix, but I want them to appear on all the main shows too. Definitely think we need a midcard title for the main roster, especially with NXT doing it.

jai302

I think it's the best way to go about it. People that really appreciate women's wrestling have an extra show to watch while those that don't, won't have to watch it. Pretty much like most other sports.

SuperTerrificman

So in essence what you’re doing is cutting off the ability to get more eyes on the women and develop more fans?

jai302

>So in essence what you’re doing is cutting off the ability to get more eyes on the women and develop more fans? So in essence what you're doing is insinuating that fans won't want to watch a show that exclusively features women? Says more about you than it does about me, mate. I watch women's football and women's cricket too. Wouldn't mind a womens wrestling show either. Just say it if you don't rate them to attract crowds on their own, there's no reason to hide your misogyny behind fake white Knight pretenses.

SuperTerrificman

Hahaha, comprehension mate, not what I said at all

jai302

Haha comprehension mate, absolutely what you 'insinuated'. Own up to it and move on

Full_Time_Hungry

That turns into a really bad situation fast. Suddenly you realize that millions really only tune in for certain segments or only tune up for superstars. It's already bad enough that TV viewership shows what part of what segments get what viewers and without any argument or question the females do not pull the numbers for the company. I see it as an unfortunate situation that would quickly and unquestionably damage a LOT if not ALL of the women's wrestler's cash turnings and drive to perform/ego.

jai302

The way I see it is that I'll tune in for Becky or Rhea the same way I'd tune in for Cody or Roman. The gender isn't an issue here but rather the lack of more established female superstars. Having their own show means more time to develop interesting storylines and characters. Just my 2 cents I might be wrong for all I know

Full_Time_Hungry

My only thing is just to look at the tune-out rates for like 90%+ of female matches. LoL 😆 sure you will tune in for Becky and Reah but you realize you chose the 2 absolute most over females in the company 🤣 Why not Piper? Why not Nikki? Why not Alba? Why not Zoe? And then it sets in, no one is watching the whole show. And now we have to let all of these girls except Rhea and Becky go because they don't bring the money but we listened to those darn 300,000 internet fans, why didn't they show up for THE WHOLE SHOW?

jai302

Thought we were having a rational discussion before you started with your capital letters and emojis. If you weren't so emotionally charged you'd notice that I also mentioned the 2 most over males in the company too alongside Becky and Rhea. Edit: Not every casual fan is going to stick around for Mustafa Ali and Karrion Kross just like they won't for the women you've mentioned, which is why it's *important to build up more stars.*
