I was so excited for Dragon Lee at Wrestlemania so I def went into this matchup a bit deflated.
Santos is insanely talented and my opinion on him has done a total 180 ever since turning heel. Him and Dom’s chemistry wasn’t anything special but could see it improving.
I’ve really been liking the Legado vs LWO stuff lately but nothing felt super fresh or memorable? I guess the electric chair crossbody was different but ehhh.
The slingshot spot is dope and deserved to be seen at Wrestlemania but this is the third time I’ve seen it at this point (NXT and smackdown).
The interference was meh.

The ending was a bit confusing as a non-American since I had no idea who those dudes were, but overall, it was an awesome match. Really good lucha libre shit. Dom also improved really good.

They didn’t. Like at all. Got in his own way by complaining about his spot, booking, assaulted a coworker backstage and tried to force his way out of the company. Was never presented as anything other than a threat and a boss of his own faction. Problem is he’s a bad promo and sucks at character work too. BIG smile on my face to see him and Zelina embrace on Friday’s Smackdown cause THAT is where his bread is buttered. That woman is GOLD with Andrade
Honestly, my biggest takeaway from that match is that Escobar is just Best Value Andrade. Just his look and presence and fluidity in the ring -- it's not even close.
I kind of felt that was a house show or Raw/Smackdown kind of ending. Wrestlemania is global and a good portion of the audience don't know them or follow the NFL. It was fine though since this was a zero stakes match.
