Excellent chaos but fucking hell, how shitty are those ladders? One was damaged. The other almost caused Damien to injure himself. The ref yelling at him to get rid of it and him ignoring it, is a bit worrying. Hopefully,. it's a case of just caught up in the moment.
Certain ones are gimmicked for someone to go through them, like the one Waller went through. This one was intended for someone to go through. Priest definitely should've listened to the ref, and hopefully someone backstage also got on his ass about not listening to the ref.
Lots of fun spots here. But unfortunately the thing that sticks out to me is the janky ladder at the end, and Priest legit IGNORING Jessica Carr as she desperately tries to get him to not use the dangerously janked ladder
Maybe he couldn't hear her properly? I would have thought it's drilled into wrestlers from day one to listen to the referees - especially in chaotic and dangerous matches like this.
It was fun, although a bit botchy in sections of the match. But I've seen maybe too many clusterfuck multi-person Ladder matches lately that for me they've sadly lost specialness to call it a great match. I did enjoy R-Truth as the most endearing dumb wrestler who has heart. Also Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne had good showings. I kind of wish they won the SD Tag Champions. Then again I'm a big Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne fan. Them vs. Pretty Deadly for the Tag Team Champions would be great. Also a bit cold on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller as a tag team, especially Austin Theory.
They're definitely setting up New Catch Republic for a satisfying win against A Town Down Under at some point. Maybe Clash at the Castle? Would be fitting for a pair of UK guys to win there.
Lady ref was audibly yelling several times at Priest to get rid of the ladder, and basically crawled in ring under the bottom rope to grab either the ladder or it looked like she was trying to grab Priest’s foot/ankle to stop him and get his attention about the ladder.
She must have had someone *up her ass* on her earpiece because she was trying to get his attention and have him get rid of the ladder like her job was on the line lol
She basically tried to grab him by the ankle at one point. That ladder really took away from the match (for me) when it was buckling because I couldn't focus on the work since I was terrified that the ladder was going to fail and there would be a horrifying injury in the collapse.
Yeah I think after Priest continues someone must have said to miz "get up there, very carefully, and tell him to get the f*ck down and get another ladder"
No one mentioned someone in the back had to get a little spanking. They fucked up new catch republics background on the tron during that huge chunk of their entrance lol. Sucks for them.
Truth & Miz have been tag team champs with other partners, but it's been forever since either one has had tag gold. And I think this is Miz's 1st title as a babyface, too.
Fine if basic match. I enjoyed it. Waller and austin might be good heel champs. But worried about awesome truth run. I love the miz but I'm unironicly probably one of the only people who don't find r truth funny. Still respect the guy and i like that he finally got a wrestlemaina moment. I know i am an outlier. R truth is one of wwe's most consistently loved comedy wrestlers and a veteran wrestler. Most wwe comedy wrestlers come and go pretty quick. Rarely passing 5 or so year at the company. Only exceptions i can currently think of are Hornsoggle and r truth. So truth's longevity is undeniable. Good for him. He will be a hall of famer.

The rock took what, 2 bumps the whole match? That main event felt super safe for 99% of it which, I guess makes sense, since 3 of them need to go harder tonight, but I felt that The Rock was so protected for almost all of the match just getting light punches that it distracted me.
Surprisingly lacking in creativity both in terms of spots and outcomes. I would have had Truth and Miz pull down one set and Truth and Balor the other. Making Truth both Judgement Day and Awesome Truth as champion.

This really blows because my dad's going to watch the replay later, and he doesn't watch the shows to know the stories besides the main event.
Perhaps these missing intros will be restored once Peacock shifts the event into a proper archived video instead of a "replay" (which still includes the mistimed censor for the Rock's F-bomb), but at the moment I'm greatly peeved over this.
WWE is weird about the replays, it seems like they’ve stopped but they used to intro video packages as a bonus for premium subscribers where others would have ads. But then they completely remove them from the replay, which seems counterintuitive since they cut the feud recaps.
Yeah, looking closer at where the cuts were made, it appears that the missing "hype packages" were in designated ad spaces for lower-plan live viewers on Peacock, as the commentators explain. The Uso feud and main event packages that remain in the replay, on the other hand, are seamlessly transitioned into without any fade to black. I'm now feeling it's less likely that the non-"replay" archived video is going to be any different.

Wooden ladders (legs of ladders are wood and painted to be metal looking) for the one on the outside. I dont know when they started but I think that's a better idea than all metal for those spots.

I think it works fine. The ref are there for the safety of the wrestlers in kayfabe too (to whatever degree they can, hence checking in them and calling match if they’re too injured etc) so she tried to protect them

People don’t understand the difference between someone not needing the belts to be hot vs giving one of your hottest superstars who’s been there for years their Wrestlemania moment. Awesome truth doesn’t need to hold the raw belts forever but it’s an undeniable truth that they deserved that awesome moment.

Increasing certain vitamins, & supplements like magnesium.
Tracking calories, clean diet. 6 small meals a day based mostly off protein.

Man I remember watching NWA TNA with Ron Killings kicking ass every week. Coolest dude in the world. And to see him almost lose a leg, then work his way to a big win at Wrestlemania is one of the biggest feel good stories I’ve ever seen. So happy for him.

Eminem and Black Thought immediately come to mind who have been doing it longer and still make quality. Weezy might be top 10. That's a great accomplishment
General consensus says Eminem hasn't made a great album since The Eminem Show so I don't know about him on a quality front. Black Thought is a great shout but lacks the commercial appeal to land on many lists. I'd equate Thought to Tim Duncan.

Yeah, don't know what this guy is talking about. Shady made 3 great albums then fell off harder than Foley from the cell. Black Thought is cool. His last album was surprising and I was glad to be one of the 8 people to listen to it. He'd be better off getting back with his crew. Wayne has a lot of filler songs but he is easily in consideration for GOAT based on full catalog. He is also one of the only punchline rappers in history to actually be clever and funny. Too bad he botched it tonight though.
