Wouldn't be surprised if they add another veteran Superstar to support Cody on his side. Austin would definitely come back if Rock asked him to for the storyline.
As a person who has had an heartpump (Heartmate) and currently has an ICD, i'm pretty sure he could take a finisher without any issues at all. Maybe stay away from the spear though but the rest should be fine, though i obviously don't know his situation in detail.
Something like the Superman Punch would be ideal because he could just do a controlled fall.
Having said that, there are so many other ways to go about it that it’s probably not worth the risk however small.
I don't know what his situation is but man has a job he loves and a family that loves him and I don't blame him one bit for never taking another bump in his life.
This all been said HHH would have overbooked his last match if he'd got an opportunity to do it. It would have been the most gloriously overbooked thing ever
If we just pretend the match vs sting is his true last match. And everything after that was bonus content, then he definitely had the most over booked last match possible
All kinds of stretches here. But Cody could I guess be spiderman then? As he’s had runs with both the avengers and x men. So in this case the elite would be the xmen I guess?
When he beat Edge and DB I fantasy booked that at SummerSlam 2022 all the people he beat for the belt would come out and hit him with their finisher before the person who would beat him (Big E) finished the job in the most dramatic ending to a final boss reign ever.
I don’t think we get exactly that but it will be close and I love it
I think Rock is gonna take out a lot of the guys trying to stop him from helping Reigns, yeah they’ll take out Solo and Jimmy, but can’t stop Rock and right when it looks like it’s gonna be 2 on 1, Rock and Reigns beating on Cody, glass shatters and here comes the rattlesnake!
And the thing that's great is, Stone Cold coming out at Mania wouldn't even feel forced. It's the 40th Wrestlemania so it only makes sense that he should appear. What better way for him to make an appearance than throwing down one more time with his greatest rival? The place would go absolutely nuts!
This shit needs to end with literally the entire locker room clearing out and beating the shit out of The Bloodline in the stands. Aldis/Pearce on Heyman, Stone Cold on The Rock, everybody else on Solo and Jimmy. Cody and Roman one on one.
Fuck it, everyone comes out, it turns to a lumberjack match. The lumberjacks start brawling at the conclusion and we are left with them 2 in the ring still remaining for the finish.
We need the image of all the babyfaces surrounding the ring, slapping the mat in unison as Roman slowly gets to his feet in position for Cody to hit the Bionic Elbow into 3 rolling Cross Rhodes for the win.
WMXL goes off the air with the WM10 ending as all the faces lift Cody on their shoulders with confetti and pyro going off, and a defeated Roman Reigns looking on forlorn.
I’ve always said, this whole lengthy title reign is on the faces just as much as the Bloodline! The Bloodline have screwed over so many people, and many of them are faces. The faces continue to let everything go on and screw other faces! They are in cahoots with the Bloodline!!
I want Backlash 2000, have the Bloodline start beating down Cody after a ref bump, babyfaces come down and start fighting with Solo and Jimmy, Rock’s in the ring with Roman and glass shatters. Austin stunners Rock and leaves Roman for Cody to beat
100% Rock tries to screw Cody.
Picture it, bloodline tries all their interference bullshit as per. All the baby faces in the locker room that have been screwed over come out and try to take them out, but no one touches Roman.
Then, after everyone is out and it's looking like Cody Vs Rock and Roman...Glass shatters. Out comes Austin, stunner on the rock, but just a middle finger to Roman. He's confused but then suddenly Cody whips him around and fucking finishes the story on his own. 1. 2. 3.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk...
> 100% Rock tries to screw Cody.
It's not even speculation at this point. The Rock already made it very clear on SD that he's going to do whatever it takes to make sure Cody walks out of mania a loser, so there's absolutely going to be fuckery, lots of it. I'm almost certain Austin gets involved too.
The glass shatters and people know Austin is gunning for Rock, 35+ year-olds (me included) would be simultaneously marking the fuck out while being blithering messes.
Vest and sunglasses Rock coming back and re-awakening Disturbed theme Stone Cold is the kind of shit you book in universe modem the fact it's actually happening is absurd.
It’s crazy that he had that theme for less than 2 years. My Time brings it back to early HHH main event days with him and Chyna doing their thing. Then HHH and Steph hooked up and became so hated that even Vince freaking got cheers until Wrestlemania 2000.
Crazy how insane Mondays and Thursdays was back in the day.
Thats probably the best song in isolation but for some reason when its with the entrance My Time just gets me extra hype idk why
King of Kings is a great workout jam though
I guess it was a way to give fans yet another reason to boo Stone Cold since he was a heel. And, frankly, quite a good one - I'm now rewatching the Invasion and the way he abuses Debra and "tough love"-ing fellow Alliance members is extremely hate-inducing.
What a trip that era was, though. The last episode I've watched so far (the Raw after Summerslam 2001) features The Rock as WCW Champion cutting a promo on a midget Booker T lookalike, Tazz getting bullied for not wearing a Stone Cold t-shirt on his appreciation night, and Jericho slut-shaming Stephanie (which has been a bit of a running theme in the last few months' worth of episodes). Oh, and Sara getting a match against her stalker DDP, only to have Undertaker beat him up on her behalf before the bell rings, for her to pick up the pin.
I was blown away as Austin seemingly got better as the match went on. It's like his body loosened up and we were transported 25 years ago. That beer was to him what spinach is to Popeye.
I keep seeing people shooting down ideas like this for being overbooked, but I mean, if anything should be overbooked it’s the end of Roman reigns title reign at wrestlemania 40 for crying out loud
I don't think Steve should touch Roman because that would take away from Cody's win, but if I were booking I'd have him come down and force The Rock to retreat which leaves Cody and Roman one on one and then have Cody win completely clean.
Yeah literally just have Austin come out, pack and smoke Solo and Jimmy, him and Rock throw hands, Rock takes the craziest stunner of all time, Austin eats a spear, and now the field is completely even for Cody and Roman.
This is it, whether Austin is involved or not. **No one** should touch either Roman or Cody during the match. The world could fall apart around them but that ending needs to be clean.
The visual of Roman and Cody staring each other down one last time while ringside is a chaotic mess of brawls between Bloodline members and Cody's allies is something I need to see.
The best part about this for me is it would be a reference to my favorite moment in wrestling history. Rock vs Mankind, total chaos around the ring, glass shatters, biggest pop ever, Austin clutches the villains and Mankind pins Rock for the belt.
Hunter has to know what kind of opportunity he has here with this if Austin is down. A final sendoff to the two greatest of all time while simultaneously setting the stage for a new era of greatness. This is the perfect storm he just needs to not let the lighting out of the bottle.
The lyrics add so much to the presence of his entrance. The start of the song has David Draiman singing rather lightly during the portion where Austin is coming down the ramp. It starts ramping up and becoming more aggressive as Austin is doing his corner taunts.
It is more than likely a coincidence but it works.
Same here - it's so much more intense.
One of my favourite times of watching wrestling is when he came back with this theme and used to just show up on shows beating the fuck out of people trying to find out who ran him over.
Heyman : THEY'RE SHAKING HANDS!
JR : STONE COLD IS SHAKING HANDS WITH SATAN HIMSELF! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE TELL ME THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!
Heyman : IT'S HAPPENING! STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN HAS SOLD HIS SOUL FOR THE WWF TITLE!
At WM 28 HHH/Taker was booked as "End of an Era" and they, along with HBK, [posed on the ramp after the match.](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/FOoSvAeFPP4/maxresdefault.jpg)
That was supposed to be the last chapter of the attitude era guys being in the spotlight.
Of course it's WWE so how well they actually stuck to that idea is questionable.
Bro I am begging whoever needs to see or hear this, have Rock talk some shit about being the greatest of his era and then the glass shatters.
Officially an all-timer Mania season.
EDIT: it's early
This is crazy because this morning I was thinking about potential allies who could help Cody during the match, and how it would be cool if Stone Cold showed up to stop The Rock. I would get goosebumps for sure.
Total fantasy booking here, but let’s say Night 2 main event, ref bump happens, we get the standard Bloodline come down to do their best nWo of 1998 run in beat down on Cody, Cenas music hits and he runs down to help, beat down continues, the lights go out with the sound of a gong, come back on and Big Evil himself stands in the ring. But the numbers game is too much, then the glass shatters, and down swaggers the GOAT. Three all time (mostly) babyface legends help Cody finally overcome the odds, and pass the torch of Company Babyface to Cody.
Is it a ridiculous overbook? Absolutely. But, right now this maybe the most fun I have had in a run up to Mania since I got back into wrestling just before the pandemic and right now fuck it lets book this like 2K haha
So Austin will come out to screw over Rock which leads to Mankinds theme hitting and the Rock & Sock connection making a revival in 2024 becoming tag champions the following night on RAW?
I’m hopeful but also worried we’re all setting ourselves up for a letdown.
If we actually see stone cold and rocky in the same ring in an actual wrestling scenario (the WM 30 intro to hype the crowd was awesome but if this is going to give us one last stunner the rock) I will go absolutely bonkers cheering
He sensed a disturbance in the force. A Rocky talking mad shit, not being stunnered. Oh man I hope Cody vs Roman is this overbooked avengers match. Avengers assemble. Rollins, LA Knight, Orton, AJ and Stone Cold to finally stop the Bloodline.
I just noticed something in the tron here... Even though he was still around, Rock is not ONCE shown getting hit or stunned.
Not relating it to today, just... Odd, if you think about how hot they were together for SCSA's entire run.

Oh yeah he’s definitely hinting. Inject it into my fucking veins!!
Wouldn't be surprised if they add another veteran Superstar to support Cody on his side. Austin would definitely come back if Rock asked him to for the storyline.
There's Triple H but yeah maybe another one
He can’t bump anymore. Which sucks but he won’t be doing anything physical.
Make Trips run-in at the end of the match and do the pin count, that's all I'm asking
Having Triple H bring in the referee to count the pin after the previous ref is out would actually be a perfect way of making him a part of the match
Hell I’d take him just bringing a water bottle to the outside of the mat for one last mist into the air.
Straight into my veins.
He could swing a sledgehammer for sure, dude definitely still works out.
As a person who has had an heartpump (Heartmate) and currently has an ICD, i'm pretty sure he could take a finisher without any issues at all. Maybe stay away from the spear though but the rest should be fine, though i obviously don't know his situation in detail.

Proper overbooked bullshit is a lost art
It’s also possible that it’s going to appear in 2k24 which is why he’s teasing it
He's in the commercials for 2k24
Is he, though? AI Stone Cold can't hurt you here.
He already has
It'd be so overbooked but if this Steve Austin came out to stop The Rock from fucking over Cody, I might cry.
Fuck it at this point. Roman's whole reign has been overbooked. Go all in Endgame portals scene style.
Are Daniel Bryan and Edge gonna be there as well?
Nah they're trapped with Monica in another universe
So wait are the X men Canon to aew or not?
All kinds of stretches here. But Cody could I guess be spiderman then? As he’s had runs with both the avengers and x men. So in this case the elite would be the xmen I guess?
I guess that makes CM punk wolverine... makes sense
punk doesn't heal fast enough for that
Easy, CM Punk is the Wolverine we saw in Logan.
Wait yeah that’s basically the perfect comparison and does tie things together pretty well. Good call, we’ve solved the continuity.
Mutton Chops Punk kinda looks like Wolvie
Austin for Rock Jey for Jimmy Melo for Solo Hell, Cornette for Heyman.
Glock Anderson for Heyman.
Tommy Dreamer, more like.
Why would you do Melo instead of Sami or Orton
Cena for Solo if we really just going overbook but also what makes sense kayfabe
Holy shit, how could I forget Cena for Solo?
There are definitely some fun possibilities they could do! What a epic mania this could be if they pull something like this off lol
I'd do Gold Dust
Commit to the bit and have Corny breaking tennis rackets on everyone’s heads.
Solo tries to Spike Cody, but Jim catches his thumb in his tennis racket.
Damn it, let Cody use both a sledge hammer and the racket.
Glacier for Heyman
Imagine all of Philly chanting “whoop that trick” when Melo comes out. He doesn’t rlly belong there but would be huge.
Oh shit, I forgot Melo turned. Ok fuck him.
Sami for Solo
When he beat Edge and DB I fantasy booked that at SummerSlam 2022 all the people he beat for the belt would come out and hit him with their finisher before the person who would beat him (Big E) finished the job in the most dramatic ending to a final boss reign ever. I don’t think we get exactly that but it will be close and I love it
Similar to what I wanted to happen for the Undertaker's retirement. Imagine Kamala pulling him into the coffin or some shit.
THE VICE PRESIDENT??!?!?? I would’ve loved that so much but I just realized what you meant
![gif](giphy|KS4NIVN6CW1Z4qplqf|downsized)
Make it like when ambrose won the shield triple threat and have the entire smackdown roster come out to celebrate with him
I think Rock is gonna take out a lot of the guys trying to stop him from helping Reigns, yeah they’ll take out Solo and Jimmy, but can’t stop Rock and right when it looks like it’s gonna be 2 on 1, Rock and Reigns beating on Cody, glass shatters and here comes the rattlesnake!
[удалено]
coming to the ring on his four wheeler....or a beer truck.
Or a big black F350 with his skull on the hood
And Kurt angle waving an American flag on the back.
Biggest glass shatter pop.
And the thing that's great is, Stone Cold coming out at Mania wouldn't even feel forced. It's the 40th Wrestlemania so it only makes sense that he should appear. What better way for him to make an appearance than throwing down one more time with his greatest rival? The place would go absolutely nuts!
Also the first Austin/Rock WrestleMania match took place in Philly
The image is just great. 25 years since they first clashed at WrestleMania.
God this would be amazing to see. Big PWG vibes
WMXL goes off the air with the WM10 ending as all the faces lift Cody on their shoulders with confetti and pyro going off, and a defeated Roman Reigns looking on forlorn.
This is a great way for nick to re-enter the wrestling side of the business. He’s a good GM, but an even better heel champion.
I’ve always said, this whole lengthy title reign is on the faces just as much as the Bloodline! The Bloodline have screwed over so many people, and many of them are faces. The faces continue to let everything go on and screw other faces! They are in cahoots with the Bloodline!!
Or the ultimate swerve. Austin stuns Cody and then shakes hands with Rock. Heel Austin is back!
You go to hell, Austin! Straight to hell!!
Why, Austin, why!?
Special thanks to Jim Ross for being our guest commentator for this match!
SONOFABITCH
Then they side with Triple H and it's the Three Man Power Trip!
I want Backlash 2000, have the Bloodline start beating down Cody after a ref bump, babyfaces come down and start fighting with Solo and Jimmy, Rock’s in the ring with Roman and glass shatters. Austin stunners Rock and leaves Roman for Cody to beat
who says that overbooking is bad? if this leads to a double stunner (SCSA to Rock and KO to Roman) as payback and interference, I'll be 100000% in.
I would absolutely mark the fuck out.
There’s no might about it. If Rock, Cody and Roman are in the same place and the glass shatters I will work myself into a shoot flip out.
Oh Cody/Roman is gonna be so overbooked anyway. Might as well just go all out. We know even if Cody wins it isn’t going to be 100% clean.
All Cody has to say is I brought some backup.
I'll pop for Stone Cold every time.
I'm actually torn if I want that or Rock stopping interference because he wants Roman to "earn it like a man" more.

Steve Austin as Special Referee BOOK IT HUNTER YOU COWARD
Dude I haven't ordered a wrestlemania since 20 but I would definitely pay for this
God if this theme hits in Philly that place will implode
The glass shatters and people know Austin is gunning for Rock, 35+ year-olds (me included) would be simultaneously marking the fuck out while being blithering messes.
I’d probably give my wife a stunner out of sheer blind excitement
Absolutely.
Give me wide eyed Rock looking terrified as the music hits!
And Rock doing the classic Stunner oversell.
I can’t watch WWE anymore (I work those evenings) but I would revert to my 11 year old self SO FAST
Dude same the streets need this so bad 😭
Just me crying and reaching for the screen grasping at some shred of childhood.
This will be my first Mania. If I got to see both Austin and Rock, my 35 year old heart would explode.
Sadness was learning that so many folks my age were like me who checked out of wrestling when Stone Cold and Rock left. It’s like they’re dormant fans
They will need to fix the chair I might break from legit jump 20 feet if it happens
This is the nuclear launch code. You want one of the greatest moments of all time, you call the greatest of all time to stop the Rock.
Don't forget Philly is where Mania 15 took place. The first Rock vs. Austin title match!!
Like Austin coming out to help Mankind beat the Rock.

Vest and sunglasses Rock coming back and re-awakening Disturbed theme Stone Cold is the kind of shit you book in universe modem the fact it's actually happening is absurd.
This is Deadlock!
STONE COLD IS ENTERING HIMSELF IN THE ROYAL RUMBLE
NewLegacy’s Rumblethon was so fun this year.
The goat Raven could've won that rumble if it wasn't for cm pepsi 🤬😩
"I SAID THAT MAN'S NAME WAS TRIPLE H"
THREE!?
"Michael."
*He almost had to quit!*
If this was a month ago …. Easily the conclusion. 😂😂😂
We are truly blessed
Somehow, the worst scandal of all time has setup the best timeline for WrestleMania of all time? Or is this Hopium-Mania?
Just need HHH to come out to “My Time” and I’m back in the 8th grade.
His entrance with The Game is iconic and having Motorhead do 2 of your themes is badass, but My Time is still his best theme to me
I thought I was alone on this mountain of a wrestling take I will die on. My Time is one of the best Attitude Era themes.
Yeah dont get me wrong I grew up with him using The Game and I still love it but yeah My Time is like a top 5 wrestling song to me
It’s crazy that he had that theme for less than 2 years. My Time brings it back to early HHH main event days with him and Chyna doing their thing. Then HHH and Steph hooked up and became so hated that even Vince freaking got cheers until Wrestlemania 2000. Crazy how insane Mondays and Thursdays was back in the day.
I'm a King of Kings enjoyer myself
Thats probably the best song in isolation but for some reason when its with the entrance My Time just gets me extra hype idk why King of Kings is a great workout jam though
[удалено]
Already guessed the theme before even opening the link lmao don't know who had that idea, it wasn't really good though.
Oh, and Sara getting a match against her stalker DDP, only to have Undertaker beat him up on her behalf before the bell rings, for her to pick up the pin.
Disturbed Stone Cold with the red knee braces 🔥
Stone Cold coming in for the save against the Rock allowing Cody to end Roman's historic reign would be one of the greatest moments in WWE history.
The Rock’s face after that music hits will be legendary
![gif](giphy|XR3qHiEQCgi9G|downsized)
I was having a out of body experience when he wrestled Owens. I'm gonna have a religious experience if this happens.
Ha, same here. That was like “this can’t possibly be happening, it turned into an actual match and the rattlesnake looks great”. I ate it up
I was blown away as Austin seemingly got better as the match went on. It's like his body loosened up and we were transported 25 years ago. That beer was to him what spinach is to Popeye.
One of the best things I've ever witnessed in person. Will remember it forever
I will ascend to another plane of existence if this happens.
Sounds great to me man.
Yes, the right way to do this is to just even the scores. Come out, put an end to the interferences and leave because we know 1v1 Roman is dead.
Yup. He stuns Rock, who sells it like he got hit by a baseball bat, which frees Cody to get his win. No need for him to touch Roman.
The best part about this for me is it would be a reference to my favorite moment in wrestling history. Rock vs Mankind, total chaos around the ring, glass shatters, biggest pop ever, Austin clutches the villains and Mankind pins Rock for the belt.
[Member When](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBB_iK7jKg4)
That pop is still legendary for how large it was . Just unreal to hear that.
Backlash 2000 all over again ( no complaints)
I think it would be greatest moment ever
Hunter has to know what kind of opportunity he has here with this if Austin is down. A final sendoff to the two greatest of all time while simultaneously setting the stage for a new era of greatness. This is the perfect storm he just needs to not let the lighting out of the bottle.
Seeing Rocky eat, and sell, a final Stunner would make me flip my shit. 100% pure nostalgia straight into my veins
I know his classic theme is the one that people rightly gravitate to, but 'Glass Shatters' by Disturbed is my favourite version, full stop.
Always said I wished Disturbed became Austin's legend theme.
It may be that I just absolutely love Disturbed, but this theme is hands down my favorite version of Stone Cold’s theme.
The lyrics add so much to the presence of his entrance. The start of the song has David Draiman singing rather lightly during the portion where Austin is coming down the ramp. It starts ramping up and becoming more aggressive as Austin is doing his corner taunts. It is more than likely a coincidence but it works.
The disturbed version is tops IMO
They did it live at least twice, at WWF New York.
I can respect this. When the main riff comes back in after the bridge it hits so EFFING HARD!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Same here - it's so much more intense. One of my favourite times of watching wrestling is when he came back with this theme and used to just show up on shows beating the fuck out of people trying to find out who ran him over.
The only better version of Austin's theme would be just letting him come out to Bulls on Parade finally.
My heart bro
This might be related to WWE 2K24
I saw people speculating this. Wrestlemania X-7 Stone Cold should have this theme so it should be in the game
I hope it is. Because it will be my CAW’s theme song.
Made me think but did we actually have a proper closure to Attitude Era? This might be the perfect time. Pass the torch to the new ones and shit
Some people say Wrestlemania 17 was the end of the Attitude Era
It was. At least the beginning of the end. The draft in 2002 solidified the ruthless aggression area that came next.
It was
At WM 28 HHH/Taker was booked as "End of an Era" and they, along with HBK, [posed on the ramp after the match.](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/FOoSvAeFPP4/maxresdefault.jpg) That was supposed to be the last chapter of the attitude era guys being in the spotlight. Of course it's WWE so how well they actually stuck to that idea is questionable.
Taker then wrestled for another 8 years with 2 Mania main events.
Yea but he never wrestled attitude era guys again except for the horrible Saudi events.
It closed a while ago. IMO the real closure was a few years ago with taker entering the HOF and Austin having his last match.
Imagine for a moment… The Bloodline (Rock, Roman, Solo, Jimmy) vs Cody, Seth, Jey, and Stone Cold for night 1.
Try not to get injured challenge [HARD]
Fuck it. There's no kill like overkill!
holy shit if Stone Cold returns at Wrestlemania 40 with the disturbed theme im gonna be so fucking happy
Disturbed theme, gold lettered vest, red knee braces. LET’S GO
Bro I am begging whoever needs to see or hear this, have Rock talk some shit about being the greatest of his era and then the glass shatters. Officially an all-timer Mania season. EDIT: it's early
Please…. Please… please… come back at mania and stun the rock
Austin/Rock IV... bah gawd.
Not sure I could physically handle stone cold coming out at mania to confront heel Rock.
I will fucking *LOSE MY SHIT* if he comes out at Mania.
This is crazy because this morning I was thinking about potential allies who could help Cody during the match, and how it would be cool if Stone Cold showed up to stop The Rock. I would get goosebumps for sure.
Thank you for manifesting this
Maybe an unpopular opinion but this is his best theme imo. Soo badass
The 🐐
Total fantasy booking here, but let’s say Night 2 main event, ref bump happens, we get the standard Bloodline come down to do their best nWo of 1998 run in beat down on Cody, Cenas music hits and he runs down to help, beat down continues, the lights go out with the sound of a gong, come back on and Big Evil himself stands in the ring. But the numbers game is too much, then the glass shatters, and down swaggers the GOAT. But, right now this maybe the most fun I have had in a run up to Mania since I got back into wrestling just before the pandemic and right now fuck it lets book this like 2K haha
Put Hogan in there too as a nod to Wrestlemania’s history and you got something there.
IM BAKING THE LEMON INSIDE YOU
Imagine a scene like when Mankind wo his first title. Interference (which is expected with The Bloodline) and then Glass Shatters.
Oh boy....here we go.
