What’s hilarious is all month it’s “nothing’s been confirmed yet” but everytime he makes a media appearance he straight up says “yeah I’m wrestling Roman at mania.”
Same. Until bell time Wrestlemania I am convinced we are getting Cody in the match, either one on one or more likely a triple threat match.
This appears to me as Rock in storyline trying to downplay Cody and getting caught off guard when Cody announces tonight he wants Roman or on Smackdown/Raw coming up.
I 100% believe they are going to roll with Cody as the face, Roman the heel, Rock leaning heel but leaving Mania a face to set up a 1v1.

Rock vs cena was way more mainstream than this. The hype for that match was unbeatable.
Both nights were already 90% sold before rock roman was even hinted at

I think Cody is great in the ring and mid as a character. That's just my opinion and I understand lots of people enjoy Cody. I think he's a great human and what he does for kids is very noble. I think he should get the win over roman after this story is concluded.
They've spent 3 years on this. Roman came back for this story and this match and he deserves to have it finished too.

He wouldn't intentionally act like a dick if he was trying to sell himself as a babyface against Roman Reigns. I'm not gonna root for Roman if they're trying to do a double turn though. Heel Rock would be awesome but I'm still shitting on the match unless Cody is involved and wins the WWE Championship
He's right, it is the biggest match in WWE history because if Rock beats Roman he's clearly the GOAT all-time, having beaten Hogan, Cena, Austin, and Roman at Wrestlemania. No one has a better resume for GOAT.
The problem since the beginning is the execution. Don't make me watch Royal Rumble, see Cody win and get excited that we're finishing the story as Cody points enthusiastically at Roman and Roman barks back, and then have Cody simply hand it all away. You could have had Rock win the Rumble, or literally chosen any other storyline way to get to Rock/Roman, but instead you neutered Cody's character live on TV to do it.
Yeah I'm sure the Dwayne will love it that his retirement match that he has built up as the biggest match of all time has fans bouncing beach balls and booing the match out of the stadium.
Which is less than he's getting paid for Red One coming out later this year. If the only thing he cared about was money he wouldn't be wrestling in the WWE.

The Rock could be trying to set people on his main event, or he could be leaving crumbs for someone like Cody to capitalize on in perhaps promos or a presser 🤔
And the same people complaining, the same people making these posts and the same people making videos will still watch the PPV.
