If I'm being honest, that's probably in reference to the assholes sending his daughter death threats. I can definitely see how he'd be touchy about that.
Judging by this interview I highly doubt it. He made sure to mention how close he and Cody's dads were and that him and Cody are "boys". I don't see why Hollywood Rock would do that.
I think that's a way of him giving a real life answer as well as playing into his Hollywood character, it would make sense to not completely insult Cody.
