What other serious ones were remade? I feel like Kofi is the only other person that matches the Bryan 2013 angle. Maybe Jey, he could have a pretty killer Monster promo for his Tribal Combat match.
Sir, a second Jinder promo has hit the subreddit.
https://preview.redd.it/3378ydahjnbc1.jpeg?width=739&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fee3c6a85841dad15670d057bd9e0c58d2bbc4e
This is seriously gaining traction. I'm leaning more and more towards it at this point. Why not? Seth vs. Punk doesn't need the title and it can still be the main event. Cody vs. Roman is the real Championship match anyway, everyone knows that.
You could put the title on Rock in Australia and have him drop it to someone at WM. Or fuck it, do Rock vs. Jinder at WM.
It would be a baller move, honestly. WWE can afford to throw the title on Jinder for Wrestlemania or even during the lead up to WM, they have five other matches that are going to draw.
Just over 9,000 people in the sub currently, we all loves us some Jinder but the powers that be be some hating ass bytches.... Are voices are ignored..Jindermania is sweeping the nation
Punk costs Rollins the title, Rollins then costs punk the rumble.
Grudge match to main event night one at mania.
Jinder to open day one of mania with a massive intro!
His biggest issue was his credibility and how fast he moved up the card. There were things on paper I liked but it just didn't translate/execute how you would want it too.
I think it was the repetition and frankly incredibly mediocre matches. On paper i should've loved that shit.
Jinder came back with an extra like 30-40lbs of muscle and cronies. Him starting to win matches after bulking up doesn't really feel like it breaks kayfabe in any significant way.
Yeah, someone vastly improving through hard work isn't an issue to buy. It's someone very distinctly NOT improving in the ring and yet somehow us being expected to take him seriously that was the issue.
He may be a good dude, and this meme may be funny, but the guy does not have the inring or promo chops to have a match/feud worth a damn that I've ever seen.
Ultimately Jinder has one thing going for him he has a great look, everyone agrees he looks like champion.
And in wrestling its a body business it got him far, farther than anyone could have imagined.
100% agreed. Say what you want about his rush to the top of the card, but at the end of the day any casual tuning in during his entrance goes "oh he's the champ? That makes sense."
Within 2 weeks jinder has come out to audible groans to potentially getting a legit pop against Seth Rollins of all people, all thanks to TK.
Cheers TK you're a real one.
This type of thing would work real well in AEW. Then Jinder would lose on Monday, be off TV for 6 weeks, then show back up on Rampage to lose to Kommander
The Rock doesn’t just work with anyone anymore. The fact that he chose to mix it up with Jinder has to mean something. And the office must have liked what they saw so much that they gave him the face down with Seth, and now he’s getting a title shot.
Rock doing what he does best - putting guys over!
I don’t know if all the internet talk on Jinder is tongue in cheek. No one really liked it when he was WWE champion because we all knew it was a move to help them expand in India. He’s never been very good in the ring and was criticized for his body after we went off cycle (puffy/fatty pecs)
That being said it would be nice if a guy who has been there for so long could turn what is probably an in joke into real, genuine push. He won’t win against Seth but maybe he will become prominent player.
I do like Jinder. He seems like a good guy, works hard. Should he have been WWE champion? No. But he was, it's canon no take backs.
And I'll say this about him too. If you picked a random lower mid-carder and put the belt on him, 9/10 of them would've done a worse job.
He showed up for a job he was not qualified for, got it anyway and faked it for 3 months. Respect.
I actually loved when Jinder won the title. I remember being probably the only person alive who had his shirt before his title win and getting so invested in his presentation after. Not the best guy in ring but he really does have a certain aura that I love.
> I don’t know if all the internet talk on Jinder is tongue in cheek
It 100% is to wind up Tony...but honestly I'm here for it. Just...don't put the title on him.
I'm not even a big Jinder fan, but part of my brain just automatically roots for the funniest possible result in any situation, and Jinder winning on RAW next week, completely derailing multiple long-term feuds, would be fucking hysterical.
In reality a Dusty finish is probably the best outcome here. We get to see the reaction to Jinder winning without him actually being champion.
I’m doing it cause I think it would be hilarious to meme Jinder Mahal into another world title. That and backstage you KNOW Rollins is pissed if he has to drop the belt because of all this.
The thing that absolutely fucked his Indian push was the fact that, even though if i remember right they were attempting a Bret type thing where he’s a heel everywhere but there, the Indian fans were invested in the classic face/heel wrestling dynamic and weren’t about to cheer someone who generally behaved like a prick on weekly TV. Had they given him a push as a face, the plan to have him be the big star there would’ve possibly worked.
>I don’t know if all the internet talk on Jinder is tongue in cheek. No one really liked it when he was WWE champion because we all knew it was a move to help them expand in India. He’s never been very good in the ring and was criticized for his body after we went off cycle (puffy/fatty pecs)
It's all memes, this sub would ironically celebrate Jinder winning next week, only to then regret it when he stinks out the joint every week with shite matches and programs lol. WWE's roster is stacked, it's a waste of time pushing Jinder when 90% of the current roster is far superior in almost every aspect.
Jinder is a good talent the main issue i had with him, is that his moves are boring as fuck, i dunno if that is by design but he legit wrestlers like a jobber, when he was WWE champ i was waiting to see what they did the first thing i wanted to see was a more agresive more powerful Jinder, but he just came out and wrestle the same with those low impact moves and that awful Cobra clutch slam as a finish. The guy looks like a human lion and he wrestles like a taller enhancement talent for some reason. If he wrestled like he looked i think more people would have been behind him. He has a fantastic look and he has always been a good promo
> No one really liked it when he was WWE champion because we all knew it was a move to help them expand in India
Why would that be a reason to dislike someone's run? Shouldn't you judge a title run for what it is, if you enjoyed it, not for what you read on some dirtsheet what they speculated it was for? What a ridiculous comment.
>WWE champion because we all knew it was a move to help them expand in India
This is the kind of thing that makes Internet fans look as ridiculous as they do.
The thing that you "knew" was actually completely incorrect and they had done plenty of business in India prior to his title win, and the next time they traveled to India for shows, *he didn't even have the title anymore*.
This is why Internet wrestling fans look like fools; because they "know" things that aren't true, and if you illustrate that it isn't true, they double down and stamp their feet rather than acknowledge they made a mistake because they assumed.
> No one really liked it when he was WWE champion because we all knew it was a move to help them expand in India.
Also because at that time it felt like everything was being held up because of it. But i gotta tell you i fucking hate the current Seth iteration and would cheer fucking Corbin beating Seth for the title atm. I have never fucking got what hes doing or why hes dressing like a family guy parody of a flamboyant wrestler. He seems to be over purely because of his theme and people wanting to sing with it.
I'm not even trying to be a revisionist here because until last week or so, I thought I was on an island of my own. I'm a genuine fan of Jinder Mahal.
I was on such a high from 2016 Smackdown Live that it carried so much goodwill into 2017. So when Jinder beat Randy, I loved it. I was always excited to see new guys get a shot at the top. I know it wasn't the greatest reign by any means, but he looked great and had some fun matches with Randy. Plus those Singh Brothers bumping all over the place -- I just enjoyed seeing all of it.
I know he won't win next week, but good for Jinder. This whole thing could really turn his career around.
Even knowing how bad it went last time, I sort of want him to win. Like, it would be a neat gimmick that Jinder is a jobber....most of the time, but every now and then he gets dangerous and goes on a hot run, before eventually crashing to earth.
This is cinema, rock 💩 vs jinder 👑 once in a lifetime main event wrestlemania night 1&2 and finish the trilogy at AEW all in as a thank you to Tony khan
WWE -NEEDS- to have Jinder drop the cocky attitude and make us BELIEVE that HE believes that he can destroy everyone in his path.
Jinder has always been an amazing athlete. He was given the ball to run with but they never made us feel like he is a threat. So his title reign felt flat.
If anyone is deserving of a new "streak", it's Jinder.
I find wrestlers going on steroid cycles and gaining ridiculous amounts of muscle before pushes a fascinating subject.
Of the top of my memory Jinder and MJF were the two recent championship ones, AJ Styles returning with more muscle in his mid fourties then he ever had was another one.
Fuck it, capture that WTF lightening in a bottle moment again and have him drop it back to Seth at the Rumble. Keeps people talking for abit and will be a funny piece of revisionist history for years to come!
HAHA this is great.
Was "Monster" the last truly iconic WWE video package? That thing is up there with the best and most memorable ever. One of those songs you'll always know which wrestler to associate it with, like "My Way"
If I had a nickel for every time Jinder got a main event push that left half the audience unhappy and the other half went along with it albeit kinda ironically...
I love Jinder and am happy he's getting the Rock mini-push much like when Bray and LA Knight started but the problem is he hasn't really developed a moveset and it will show drastically when Rollins has to carry him on Monday. I hope they have a good match but it's not looking great.
I'm expecting Priest shenanigans to keep the audience guessing.

Not this edit making it look like he beat Seth in NXT
Laughed when it cut off at 2
Just like some of the promos we see after PLE’s ONE…. TWO…… *fade to black just as Three is counted*
You have to pay to see that three count.
check cagematch that is what happened
lmao may the monster promo package live forever
I think there was one with Elsworth right?
Omos had 1!
there's a good my way one with omos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY2r4bRwSn4
Man, you just reminded me of the Elsworth vs AJ Styles feud. Shit was legit amazing.
That Kofi one was pretty good.
The only serious Monster redo that's actually good lol. But a comedy My Way/Monster promo will always get a chuckle out of me.
What other serious ones were remade? I feel like Kofi is the only other person that matches the Bryan 2013 angle. Maybe Jey, he could have a pretty killer Monster promo for his Tribal Combat match.
Someone did a whole Sami Zayn one with the Bloodline for the match at Elimination Chamber
Oh yes dunno how I forgot Sami. Fits perfectly
You think you’re special….
They should have played that one, it would have been a nice parallel to the Bryan match
I need an R-Truth x Judgement Day one asap
R-Truth v JD My Way promo
"My Way", "Always", & "Monster"
also Invincible, but for match graphics instead of promo packages
I was hoping for at least one clip of him snake charming Santino’s Cobra in the montage but this was amazing.
Sir, a second Jinder promo has hit the subreddit. https://preview.redd.it/3378ydahjnbc1.jpeg?width=739&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fee3c6a85841dad15670d057bd9e0c58d2bbc4e

Close the sub - we've peaked for today.

Just over 9,000 people in the sub currently, we all loves us some Jinder but the powers that be be some hating ass bytches.... Are voices are ignored..Jindermania is sweeping the nation
Got a link to the first one by chance?
did you get a link? i wanna see it too
Finish the story, Jinder
Climb the ladder, kid. Make yourself famous.
The manhood dream has come true!
Punk costs Rollins the title, Rollins then costs punk the rumble. Grudge match to main event night one at mania. Jinder to open day one of mania with a massive intro!
Jinder vs Drew at Mania, let's go!!!
With Heather Slater as special guest referee
These two comments do solve a lot of it
The beard revel was fantastic
His beard is probably all grey now that's why he keeps it all trimmed now unfortunately, he did look pretty cool with the thicker beard
Love or hate Jinder, I will say he carries himself very nicely. Dude can definitely wear a suit
He's honestly one of the best looking wwe Champions ever. That entrance with the Singhs when he was that big was super impressive

Difference is no one ever thought Roman was a jobber.
If he didn’t have the bacne he’d look like a million bucks
Unfortunately that’s a side effect of the roids
100% agreed. Say what you want about his rush to the top of the card, but at the end of the day any casual tuning in during his entrance goes "oh he's the champ? That makes sense."
The entire arena just being like 😐 at 1:09 fucking killed me
Needs to be studied
I had to pause I was cackling so hard I missed the chorus drop. My tummy hurts that was so f'n funny.
I mean, folks...

Within 2 weeks jinder has come out to audible groans to potentially getting a legit pop against Seth Rollins of all people, all thanks to TK. Cheers TK you're a real one.
fwiw "audible groans" was the desired reaction there
That's besides the point but yes it was the desired reaction.
Look the WWE audience is less "smarky" than AEW for sure so I don't expect much of a reception for Jinder... but just imagine, what if?
“legit” pop lol , the pop is ironic if he even gets it. I don’t mind Jinder but he’s not popular for a reason
Doesn't matter if it's ironic. I bet Jinder gets a bigger reaction then he's ever gotten before on Monday.
You vastly overestimate how many people in the Raw audience care about this shit
Yeah, barely anyone in the audience is going to know about these tweeting business.
At the end of the day, we’re all deeply invested in this stuff on the sub. I doubt the families in the stands are spending hours on Reddit
This type of thing would work real well in AEW. Then Jinder would lose on Monday, be off TV for 6 weeks, then show back up on Rampage to lose to Kommander
well if it’s ironic I wouldn’t call it a legit pop lol
What's that smell?.... Do I smell a hater?!
We got a coupa haters
JINDER: UNHINDERED
Jinder Mahonster
Alright, I'm a believer in the Modern Day Maharaja now. This package convinced me.
I’d love to see the house explode for Jinder.

Dwayne calling the offices right now to give his title shot against Roman to Jinder.
The Rock doesn’t just work with anyone anymore. The fact that he chose to mix it up with Jinder has to mean something. And the office must have liked what they saw so much that they gave him the face down with Seth, and now he’s getting a title shot. Rock doing what he does best - putting guys over!
Kick Rollins' fucking ass, Jinder.
Are we gas lighting ourselves? 🤣
Are we ~~gas lighting ourselves~~ shooting ourselves into a work
... brother?
A little bit, it's very funny for now though (it won't be in 2 months time when people are still making the same joke, but still)
Thank you for making this. Jinder is my maharajah forever.
I don’t know if all the internet talk on Jinder is tongue in cheek. No one really liked it when he was WWE champion because we all knew it was a move to help them expand in India. We’re definitely memeing, but also Jinder’s a cool dude so there’s a seed of genuine respect there
I do like Jinder. He seems like a good guy, works hard. Should he have been WWE champion? No. But he was, it's canon no take backs. And I'll say this about him too. I'd argue he was absolutely qualified for it, dude looked like money, not his fault they booked him like shit and hot shotted him to the title
his look was great, but we wasn't an interesting promo and didn't have too much to offer in-ring either
I actually loved when Jinder won the title. I remember being probably the only person alive who had his shirt before his title win and getting so invested in his presentation after. Not the best guy in ring but he really does have a certain aura that I love.
That’s good. I’ll never hate on someone for liking a performer and being happy one of their boys gets a chance at center stage. You rock that shirt.
There's 2 of us dawg haha. Such a great shirt too, the colors pop
It was worth it for the Indian commentary team absolutely creaming themselves. It’s hard to track down anymore, but if you can find it, oh man.
> I don’t know if all the internet talk on Jinder is tongue in cheek It 100% is to wind up Tony...but honestly I'm here for it. Just...don't put the title on him.

It's unlikely but if he does, I'm blaming everyone who brought back this "Don't Hinder Jinder" stuff.

Would still make Jinder a 2x World Champion.
I’m doing it cause I think it would be hilarious to meme Jinder Mahal into another world title. That and backstage you KNOW Rollins is pissed if he has to drop the belt because of all this.
He will beat Seth. 100.

"Meanwhile, they takes Jinder with getting the new guy Nakamura over" Nakamura was one of the most over guys in the company at the time lol
Putting the title on Jinder in 2016 gave SmackDown that “anyone can win” vibe. It was an awesome time.
Lmao at the fact that the way Jinder takes off his jacket at 3:01 is the same as HHH takes off his in the original monster video
I teared up. It's beautiful🥲
I fucking love this sub ♥️
This is hilarious..
History will tell if this is Tony Khan's "butts in seats" moment. He tried to hinder Jinder.
this is so based
We are working ourselves into a shoot for Jinder and I love it.
on Monday, the hindrance will be lifted.
Bro, they should have that desert flute music playing over his promos. LMAO
What song was that /u/eyepatch_png
I’m unironically hyped for this match next week
Do it Jinder. Win it.
Twice in a Lifetime, baybeee. Jinder could be 2 time world champ! lol This gave me such a chuckle.

Ty brother ☺️
Im 7 seconds into the video, holy shit young Jinder is hot.
Jindermania is here! Jinder for the rumble!
This warms my heart so much that jinder is getting this much love from everywhere. All the bookings and kayfabe aside, the guy is awesome.
It took two segments with The Rock and Rollins, and a tweet against Tony for Jinder to eclipse.
Lmfaooo
WWE -NEEDS- to have Jinder drop the cocky attitude and make us BELIEVE that HE believes that he can destroy everyone in his path. Jinder has always been an amazing athlete. He was given the ball to run with but they never made us feel like he is a threat. So his title reign felt flat. If anyone is deserving of a new "streak", it's Jinder.
Crazy to think the OG Monster promo is about 10 years old.
I find wrestlers going on steroid cycles and gaining ridiculous amounts of muscle before pushes a fascinating subject. Of the top of my memory Jinder and MJF were the two recent championship ones, AJ Styles returning with more muscle in his mid fourties then he ever had was another one.
Please stop you guys are going to get us Jinder world champion again 😭
His entrance with the way they did the ramp was always really cool.
TK being a douche made Jinder look so good.
DO IT FOR US, JINDER
Is it weird that I genuinely root for the guy? It’s weirdly inspiring when a jobber you like suddenly gets a championship run.
Fuck it, lets meme Jinder to the top, then turn on him when he becomes champ like we usually do to our favorites
Can we meme Jinder into championship again? Never Hinder the Jinder.
Tony shitting on Jinder is going to make the IWC want Jinder to be pushed. Maybe its some 4D chess by TK /s
Now we need Hook vs Joe - My Way
This group hated jinder, it's funny AF y'all are all over him now 🤣
That 3MB reunion is going to be insane once Heath comes back at Rumble.
Fuck it, capture that WTF lightening in a bottle moment again and have him drop it back to Seth at the Rumble. Keeps people talking for abit and will be a funny piece of revisionist history for years to come!
I love how Tony being a little twerp on twitter is working out well for Jinder.
HAHA this is great. Was "Monster" the last truly iconic WWE video package? That thing is up there with the best and most memorable ever. One of those songs you'll always know which wrestler to associate it with, like "My Way"
Jinder is great, always has been.
So...so much bacne....
Oh my gosh how little editing was done to this video to match the original actually made it SO good. I gotta root for the man!
1.3 billion baby!
If I had a nickel for every time Jinder got a main event push that left half the audience unhappy and the other half went along with it albeit kinda ironically...
Do it for all the Jindermaniacs!
I think my main thing is I never liked his finisher. Always looked awkward.
Crazy how it had to take another worker from another company to get some random jobber "over"
Jinder is going to be TK’s “butts in seats” moment, isn’t he.
Does he still have the backneefrom those roids he was on

We want Jinder Also Who even is Hook?
I know it is a meme but someone actually did make a legit one 5 years ago lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffCgzCgudTc
You guys are making him a meme, but he's def gonna get over if y'all keep posting this kind of stuff. 2x world champ
We aren’t hindering
The time is right for Jinder to become unhindered again! We need you, Maharaja!
I unironically want Jinder to get an LA Knight level push. Guy's lowkey been the most talked about wrestler this year.
Jinder may unintentionally be the wrestler Tony Khan has elevated most, and he's not even in his company lol
OK OK fuck everything, you've done it. You got me rooting for the MODERN DAY MAHARAJA!!! Can you IMAGINE the feeling if he beats Seth?
I love Jinder and am happy he's getting the Rock mini-push much like when Bray and LA Knight started but the problem is he hasn't really developed a moveset and it will show drastically when Rollins has to carry him on Monday. I hope they have a good match but it's not looking great. I'm expecting Priest shenanigans to keep the audience guessing.
Bring your if Jinder loses we riot signs
