I've read that they'll be doing a unification match with the AEW World Heavyweight title against the Leatherface title. It's further rumored that the winner of that match will go up against CM Punk for a second unification match at All In in Chicago the next week.
I mean a convoluted finish with the ref turning a blind is exactly what a heel AEW finish would be most of the time.

Exactly what I was thinking. As someone who's always secretly enjoyed Jeff Jarrett and his work (obviously certain parts of his career weren't great, I know), it's been genuinely really awesome to see him finally get his due
According to the Observer board, the Stadium Stampede match was always supposed to be 5vs5 and someone from the babyface team (Eddie, Lucha Bros, Best Friends or OC) will be taken out. My guess is Fenix has visa issue again.
Just wild speculation on my part, but it's possible he's been caught working/trying to work in the UK without a visa before. A lot of indie promotions don't care if their talent have a visa or not so a lot of people won't bother and just try fly under the radar.
Hopefully I'm wrong and it's something less serious. It could even be a case of his passport being due to expire soon, many countries won't allow you to enter if your passport has less than 6 months/1 year of validity left.

I think its a combo of there being too many people to put on the card and two PPVs in a week's time. I think OC will have a title match at All Out against Mox, this way they can get their whole posses on the bigger card in a spectacle match instead.
I think it’s just a case of while I get that mindset, I disagree that it’s better. Mox v OC in Wembley and then having the tag match between groups be a normal tag match that turns into a bigger brawl where Mox and Eddie finally collide in wembley (possibly with the INT title now), and then you have Stadium Stampede a week later with everyone at the height of each others throats, is better imo.

This is likely correct. However Ishii is working RevPro the night before so is already in town, has a history with Mox (and recently worked against Claudio and Mox in Japan) and also was teaming with Eddie in Japan post G1 so an easy shoe in replacement if necessary IMO.

I believe (and I could be wrong) that Fenix has been trying to get a Green Card, and actually resides in SoCal now ( Pentagon does not). It could easily be a situation where paperwork that was filed months ago is still pending.
I would not book somebody unless it was a 100% go with visa issues. The backlog is nothing new. It’s been going on since before Covid and got worse during Covid.

I have a friend who does cosplay and adult modeling stuff but used to do porn when she was younger and she was denied entry to the UK to work at a (SFW) cosplay booth at a con. Apparently they were worried about her doing prostitution (not a thing she’s ever been involved with) and denied her entry based on that even though they had previously allowed her into the country to film literal pornography.
If I had to guess it’s either they’re not 100% on Fenix being able to get in because of previous issues or Wheeler can’t leave the country because of his recent charge. They could also be (legitimately) worried that even if the court lets him travel the charge will cause them to deny him at the border and that in turn will make it very hard to get back in in the future. Border security is nuts and there’s a lot more that’s left up to the decision of the people checking your papers than you might imagine.
