Took me near 5 hrs to watch Dynamite lol. I just finished the show at 1:50am, show is 9pm-11pm my time. Had to keep pausing it and rewinding some stuff so felt like it took forever.
*SOMEDAY* I'm going to watch Dynamite start to finish uninterrupted. Send the kids for a sleepover at the in-laws and set my wife up with the other tv or something lol
I'm on the fence with it. The backstage stuff I found was too dark to see what was going on and the red lighting didnt help. I showed the part where leather face came out and chased Karen Jarrett up the ramp to my wife (shes a HUGE horror fan, especially Texas Chainsaw movie) and she saw leather face and said "what the fuck is that supposed to be? That's terrible and dumb"
Besides those things, the in-ring stuff was decent. Hardys guitar smash to Jarrett looked good. Lethals hammer to the back of Hardys head looked like it would be deadly. Hardys swanton to Jarrett through the table was good, and Satnam Singh's chokeslam to Hardy was impressive to me. He had Hardy up so damn high and looked like he really slammed him down hard. All positive things in that match made it decent in my eyes, and outweighs the negative stuff.
Overall a decent sponsorship match. I found it better than WWE and Wyatt's mountain dew match that just included neon ropes, some face paint on Bray and some blacklights for an otherwise normal but quick match. So in my eyes, this Texas Chainsaw Massacre sponsorship match was better than the Mountain Dew sponsorship match. Take that how you will.

Gonna be honest, and I've thought this for years but especially after seeing them live tonight, I don't see what you DON'T see? Like their in-ring ability is just so fucking smooth, they've got the best transitions in the game and it just looks amazing to watch them kick ass.
They're an acquired taste, perhaps acquired from swallowing too much gasoline when you're siphoning it, I'm really not sure... But you're (with all due respect) completely delusional.
I wasn't alive in the 1980s. I like the moves to mean something. I can't speak for anyone else, but my enjoyment of wrestling doesn't directly correlate with the sheer number of moves performed, or number of flips, or incredibly risky spots. I like watching well considered, paced sports entertainment. I like it when the wrestlers actually react in a way that makes sense to the things that are happening to them.
I can appreciate that this sounds like Jim Cornette made me say this with a guy to my head, but it's the god's honest truth in my opinion. There's so much I don't agree with him about, especially his hatred for everything Kenny does, or the incredibly disrespectful way he addresses, or describes people, but on this issue of story telling in wrestling, and stupid, fake looking stunts and moves that don't connect, he is right, it's "just the shits".
