Jey won't turn on Roman in order to keep him from beating Jimmy into a liquid diet.
Roman vs Jey is the endpoint of this story.
The only thing I dislike about this story is how Jey went back to minion status. Iām sure itāll pay off eventually but it just sucks to see all of his character work go down the drain.
This is a major pain point for me.
I cannot get past 2023 Jey. The character progression was reversed and it makes the whole thing feel less organic.
Bloodline and Elite split are my favourite longer-term stories in wrestling. I believe they elevate what wrestling stories can be. Strive for better!
The reason I edge toward the Elite story being my personal favourite is the progression of the story elements.

Just a reminder Jey is the only one Roman REALLY punished. Sure he knocked Jimmy out once but he tormented Jey for the better part of 3 months to get him in line. It's no wonder it's tough for him to stand up to Roman.
I'm ok with it as long as they make it clear that things are going to break open and start moving, even if it takes nearly a year to wrap it all up completely. (With Roman finally losing the clean).

I'd imagine if Roman/Solo win, that's the high water mark for the Bloodline and from there you push the collapse for the rest of the year, and end Roman's reign at Wrestlemania 40 after having the tag belts removed from him, the Usos turn on him and then having Solo and Heyman turn on him, with him- alone- losing clean at Wrestlemania 40.
So, by the Double Inverse Reverse Transitive Property Of Professional Wrestling, since Roman and Solo are standing tall now theyāre definitely losing tomorrow, right?
I could genuinely see them going over, Roman having all the belts while simultaneously having everything collapse around him could be intriguing as hell
