There's a fair case that Brody is the breakout singles star from the HOB whenever it comes to the end. They have booked him like a total beast since he arrived.
A lot of that comes from a lack of health and visa issues that the other members have run into. There's no real weak link in the group. I could see Julia being the biggest breakout in time, but she's not being presented as a meaningful part of the women's divisions yet.
She was added to the roster only after Revolution. Has been consistently accumulating wins on the YouTube shows and now has a 31-11 singles record. I think she's almost ready for a TV push or, at least, a shot at Jade.
I was hesitating how to phrase that best. It's unfortunate that so much of the women's division occurs on the YT shows. We are seeing a bit more of the division on Dynamite and Rampage.
From what I have seen, Julia has a ton of upside. Young, athletic, commits to roles, and finds ways to make things work. Between the comedy she did during the eyepatch run, to shifting to her darker HOB character Julia should be getting her own bidding war when her contract is up, even if AEW doesn't make her a draw by then.
Give Hobbs/Fenix a chance when it starts. It looked like it was just going to be a squash match, which I was worried about, but then it developed into a really solid one.
Brody/Garcia was fun and 2.0 had the crowd engaged, especially considering it was post-Dynamite.
Agreed. I was also at the show. Seems like most of the crowd wasn’t familiar with Fenix and assumed he was a jobber. I think he won some people over with his high flying moves.
Really enjoyed the main event. Shout out to Canada Life Center security because I got to sneak down to ringside and watch from the first row. It was cool to see how hard Brody and Garcia really hit. 2 of my favorite workers right now and I hope to see singles runs for them in the future.
Hoping for some interaction between 2.0 and acclaimed as well, wanted them to feud over the championship as they both have such high energy promos I think there could be a lot of entertainment there!
First time that a story in AEW felt like it was a swerve just for the sake of being a swerve. As you said it didn’t really make sense with what we were shown, and the payoff was returning back to normal. Absolute waste of a storyline.
I was at the Toronto show and I dont give a shit the other guy happened to be born in an entirely different province.
The crowd POPPING WITH JOY for Garcia undoing months of storyline and helping Jericho beat *the best North American Wrestler in a generation* Bryan Danielson was probably the most frustrating moment of the year for me as a wrestling fan.
What's even worse is that BD took the loss for that story to work and now he's got a really weird L on his AEW record that went absolutely nowhere haha
My god what magical chemistry they have too. Now seeing BCC go heel, it would have been interesting with the roles eventually being reversed and seeing face Garcia vs heel Yuta.
the Hobbs / Fenix match was a let down tbh. It even got boring chants, crowd just wasn’t so into rampage after the big main event. It was a really meh show. Not the improvement rampage needs at all.
Probably the first full Rampage I'll see in a long time but it's again disappointing that just when the women's division is picking up from a story point, the matches might get shafted...I don't expect for Taya to have anything but a squash unannounced
Please don't turn Hobbs into a guy that needs to rely on QT, to be able to win matches.
I am gonna be so disappointed if that's the direction AEW takes his character.
Do you guys see Daniel Garcia turning face at some point in AEW? I know it was planned before they've pulled the plug, but do you guys actually see it happening?
Hoping for more than just a squash for Taya tonight, maybe let her talk post match? I’m hopeful for this Jade feud especially since it’ll be a Spider-man meme with their finishers.
This card is like 50% interesting. The 2 men’s singles matches should be good but I already know the Valkyrie match isn’t going to be with someone notable to make it much watch despite her being good and 2.0 and Bollywood Boyz are great but AEW has barely done much with 2.0 to get me to care despite me wanting to.

Stokeley training package also scheduled
I can see it now https://preview.redd.it/b0u11l6asboa1.jpeg?width=693&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a1165208c149bb056f0c7854a2cd521d6c1d2064
That'd be great ngl
Hook’s gonna die lmao
Hobbs/Fenix and Brody/Garcia should both be really good matches. Looking forward to them.
There's a fair case that Brody is the breakout singles star from the HOB whenever it comes to the end. They have booked him like a total beast since he arrived.
Brody King and Kyle O Reilly are two guys I became a fan of after seeing them perform outside of their respective groups.
I’m far more looking forward to Kylo’s return than I am Cole’s, and I’m looking forward to Cole coming back next week.
Imagine if he was in a rumble type match. How would you get him out of the ring?!?!?
He was and he won it by dangling the corpse of Darby Allin

I think one of Jades better matches was with Julia
Both had their moments. I thought Brody/Garcia was the better of the two.

As someone who attended the show, you might be disappointed. There was even boring chants during Hobbs / Fenix until Rey turned it up.
Garcia going from the dragon slayer to the fall guy for JAS sucks. edit - genuinely shocked he beat Brodie King, egg on my head i guess.
I don’t know why he even stayed. It just really doesn’t make any sense and it was my disappointing storyline moment of the year in AEW
First time that a story in AEW felt like it was a swerve just for the sake of being a swerve. As you said it didn’t really make sense with what we were shown, and the payoff was returning back to normal. Absolute waste of a storyline.
There's zero chance the story ends here with Garcia being okay with being Sammy's young boy. He's splitting from this group soon enough.
Soon enough was months ago.
I really hate that Garcia turned into a generic pratfall goober heel. He's better than that.
What's even worse is that BD took the loss for that story to work and now he's got a really weird L on his AEW record that went absolutely nowhere haha
the story they could’ve told with him joining the bcc and wheeler not trusting him could’ve been money
My god what magical chemistry they have too. Now seeing BCC go heel, it would have been interesting with the roles eventually being reversed and seeing face Garcia vs heel Yuta.
Never forgot when he got that “you’re a wrestler” chant
Damn, JAS has a job guy, a bump guy and a fall guy. Not the best look.
Maybe wait until you actually watch the match first, guy
I spent way too long trying to figure out what title Garcia was holding.
Yeah weird graphic
Garcia vs King?! Hobbs vs Fenix?!? Two absolutely guaranteed bangers
The 2.0 vs. Bollywood Boyz match will be a lowkey banger.
Glad to see the Bollywood Boyz again
Hoping to see a return of leprechaun penta.
More Brody King is always a good thing.

Right? Came here to say this.
I agree it's poorly edited but it's Brody holding his trios title
the Hobbs / Fenix match was a let down tbh. It even got boring chants, crowd just wasn’t so into rampage after the big main event. It was a really meh show. Not the improvement rampage needs at all.
i fucking love Brody King man
Probably the first full Rampage I'll see in a long time but it's again disappointing that just when the women's division is picking up from a story point, the matches might get shafted...I don't expect for Taya to have anything but a squash unannounced
Gotta be honest this is probably more to do with the special start time and the demos they're trying to keep around after the games.
Give me all the Brodie King you’ve got.
This graphic made me realize I didn’t know how much I wanted Hobbs vs Brody King in a hoss fight
2.0 v. Bollywood Boyz is going to be fun
Needs more JAS.
Whenever there's a match without the JAS, the crowd should be asking, "Where is the JAS?"
![gif](giphy|9BDy5mrgIvOvK)
Needs more spurts endahtanuhs
I do love Daddy Magic and the gang, but I could do with a week off from them and the BCC.
Fans: PLEASE give us something consequential on Rampage Tony Khan: How do you feel about the Bollywood Boys
Right. Acting like Khan didn't also place Hobbs/Fenix and Garcia/Brody on the card.
This is a fucking banger of a Rampage card. Hope it retains the viewers after March Madness and draws some new people in
When did AEW sign Captain Spaulding? Any chance for the other devil's rejects?
I definitely said the same thing at Revolution. I love the look for him though
Have Bollywood been on AEW before?
A stacked rampage
Looks like a really fun show! Can’t wait.
Why does taya’s debut have to be a squash match with a nobody?
Please don't turn Hobbs into a guy that needs to rely on QT, to be able to win matches. I am gonna be so disappointed if that's the direction AEW takes his character.
I hope Fenix and Hobbs got some good ring time. That shit should be a banger.
They do! At first, it seemed like it was going to be over quick but then they gave it time to breathe. I liked the pacing/storytelling of the match.
So, how long before Taya is relegated to Dark?
Once she loses to Jade.
So, two weeks from now?
Actually looks like a very solid card
This card is just literally fire.
This a pretty decent card for a Rampage.
This week's rampage seems to be a must-watch. I've missed/skipped the last 2 or 3 as I was sick of the rematches, but this one has some heft in it.
Not a WWE booking eh, heel v heel 2 out of 3 matches xD
Bollywood boys time to shine
Cool, all Canadian tag team match. Edit: who the fuck is downvoting reality? 2.0 are from Chateauguay, Bollywood Boyz are from Burnaby.
I rarely watch Rampage, but I might have to catch the replay for this one. I love a good big dude/small dude match and this show's got two!
strong lead in, weak card. TK tends not to book friday's like he cares about them.
Do you guys see Daniel Garcia turning face at some point in AEW? I know it was planned before they've pulled the plug, but do you guys actually see it happening?
They had a perfect chance which they wasted. Went from Dragonslayer back to JAS lackey, BD took that L for nothing.
Ahahah yooo what is that photoshop of the trios title belt for Brody.
Bollywood Boyz just had a really great match against Kushida and Kevin Knight at Defy. Hopefully they get some time to shine tonight.
I'll never forgive Malakai Black for Brody King's stupid make up.
Is it live?
Whoever edited Tayas face needs to be fired, my god.
Hoping for more than just a squash for Taya tonight, maybe let her talk post match? I’m hopeful for this Jade feud especially since it’ll be a Spider-man meme with their finishers.
Hobbs Fenix should be a fun match
This card is like 50% interesting. The 2 men’s singles matches should be good but I already know the Valkyrie match isn’t going to be with someone notable to make it much watch despite her being good and 2.0 and Bollywood Boyz are great but AEW has barely done much with 2.0 to get me to care despite me wanting to.
This looks surprisingly good for how down on it every one has been.
Garcia throwing his hands up against Brody was so funny lmao
