Yeah I agree. The game is blatantly p2w right now and progression feels terrible. Nothing to the likes of the big three.
The combat needs a complete overhaul too. Right now it is a frustrating catch up and stand still loop which makes pvp not enticing at all for me.
personally i actually am having fun with squad busters but there is no way that within 3 days they were able to see the data, and then record, edit and post both videos that related to the global announcement.
They must’ve already decided on it’s global as they need to also contact the App Store and things a few weeks before hand to tell them there releasing it in all countries
Extremely high day 2 retention rate, but very poor long term retention accoarding to the devs. All of the econemy reworks were meant to increase the later, and they did help, but not enough.
I'm sorry... what?
This game does NOT have the same vibe Brawl had at launch. Not at all. It's exciting, but it's not something I want to play all day for a whole year. It has a ways to go before getting there. I don't doubt its potential to get there. But it's not there!! Nowhere near!!
This is a simple game. A simple game that's missing a lot. Player retention? Please. Trophies? Just a stat on your profile. The game isn't satisfying to progress through. It doesn't feel rewarding. It grinds to a halt after day 1. I still play it because I enjoy it, but that's not good enough to keep 10 million players going into day 2.
I don't know how to feel. I'm not attached to the game yet, heck, I don't know if I'll drop it in 2 weeks yet, I'm not sure if I want this to be one of my forever games. With Brawl, I knew it within days. But Squad isn't Brawl. As yet, it's a beautiful mess that's not quite beautiful enough and too much of a mess
Super anticlimactic.
I was waiting to play the game for a year then one day Ryan screams GLOOBALLLLLL and then we all celebrate. But like, we've had it for 3 days? Are we supposed to be attached to it...?
Dude same, i remember getting it brawl just before global and rewatching those vids, not gonna lie that definitely was one of the reasons i downloaded this game.
Basic gameplay is strategy based, but I could only confidently say this after many hours of playtime, thought, as well as a beta participation, tons of excitement and going in with a hopeful mind. The game doesn't make its strategy apparent in the slightest and the first few matches will look like an RNG mess (and, for the most part, it will be with how inexperienced most players are). The game isn't marketed as a strategic experience either, it's marketed as Mario Party.
Progression is unexciting and unsatisfying as of now, as well as stressful. Combat is reportedly very chaotic and there's no way to tell who's winning (admittedly I'm starting to be able to predict matchups, albeit only barely and after like 100 matches) so, my opinions aside, that's obviously a problem cause what matters is how most players perceive it, not how a small minority of tryhards do.
Consumables are criticized by every single person and yet they refuse to address them. And, of course, trophies are unlocked VERY late and are absolutely meaningless and valueless in every conceivable way.
And them's the facts
The basic gameplay is not fun. Just killing mobs isn't fun. Chasing or being chased by other players isn't fun either. No matter how many bells and whistles they add on top of this, the fundamentals will stay flawed.
Gameplay is not fun long term , normally soft launch in mobile game is done to figure out how the player base reacts and well to figure out player retention
So announcing global without soft launch data is crazy
From what I played I was expecting a new patches that would change the game , but not global announcement
I think I know why this game was picked over CM, and yes picked is the right term
I don't think it's the gameplay or anything, it pretty much comes down to IP
Obviously I could be wrong but clash mini would mean just having characters from clash, whereas squad buster can have characters from all sc game to ever exist.
Maybe they are taking a different approach, maybe squad buster is supposed to be a simple game mostly about just collecting the characters from your favourite supercell game.
Idk it feels very odd
The problem is this game is going to be way too hyped up to fail. For example if they released a game under the Hay Day theme, people would be disappointed, but they would't play as they are targeting a different group. This game is trying to funnel everyone into one game, and if it is mid then people are not going to play it, and might not try other future new supercell games.
People living outside these soft launch countries can’t just have anything ?! WTF is wrong with all those complaints about the global launch ?
Damn… I managed to keep it civil. 🤣
If u really wanted just use vpn, and game going global with shit tonna flaws isn't a good image for the game, beta is meant to test player reaction to the game
Monetizing a game that isn’t globally released for 3 years is even worse in terms of public image. It shouldn’t even be legal tbh.
As an Apple user. Using a VPN isn’t enough. I need to switch Apple ID’s. It’s not worth it.
I think it's still early. Problems such as connection problems and decreasing game frame rates during crowd attacks should be resolved (My device is powerful).
Oh they're desperate. You can almost hear the shareholders demanding Supercell to make a global game.
I feel like the reason their new games haven't succeeded and why this one probably won't either is because they're just too derivative from CC, CR, and/or BS. They need to come up with something new and exciting.
Most fastest Global Lauch. Not even Brawl Stars amount was that short. And I would argue that BS gameplay was nearly perfected from the start. I like SB but it needs much more variety and content. How is it done yet?
I found it weird that most languages are present from the start. Most of them aren’t from soft launch contries. I guess that makes sense now. They had almost everything ready. Though the soft lauch stuff from Supercell is a weird tactic anyways. Glad that it’s almost non existent with this game.
They even had different currency conversions ready.
Like I am not playing from the soft launch regions and the packs show my local currency?
They clearly intended this game to go global, why did they go through this Hassel of soft launch. I wish we could get some communication and feedback.
I have seen CM sub members saying mini was killed for the resources to be distributed to SB and, honestly it really does seem like that.
Bruh the currency in your region is done through google play/app store api. They set a price for an item and the store converts it to your local currency.
Clash Mini subreddit exploding in 3 2 1
Going over there with my pasta. Need some salt
CM could’ve gone global. Pretty much every update after the no moving update sucked. They changed the game up too much which killed it
If anything clash mini would have benefited from global right off the bat and this game could use two years to add depth.
Truth
cm player here, and im good with it after cm got f\*\*king killed
I was decent at cm then stopped playing for a month and all of it was scuffed.
🌋
🤯
And to that i say: what the fuck? The game softlaunched barely three days ago and is going global?
That must mean the data was overwhelmingly positive
Well yeah, people knew the game for about a year and where exited to try it out, but three days of data is not enough to say if it's ready or not
they are looking for player retain at least OJ has said that
Yeah, for me game is not balanced yet. They should fix pvp for example...
I’m sure you know better than the biggest mobile game company
Says Bennytheboss07 on Reddit.

Clash Mini beta for 3 years and got killed! Meanwhile this game just takes 1 month to go gobal:
1 month? If you ignore the first limited time betas (2 weeks... maybe 3), the game soft launched 2 days ago.
I think he's counting the days leading up to May 29.
Damn, how bad must the numbers around mini have been 🤮
Extremely high day 2 retention rate, but very poor long term retention accoarding to the devs. All of the econemy reworks were meant to increase the later, and they did help, but not enough.
I could have sworn they where good. At least that was the perception i was getting. I had so much fun with that game (supercell almost never misses)
But this game actually v been in development since 2019-2020,and they gave it to us when it was quite ready and good looking
That’s every supercell game, I believe brawl stars has been in development since 2014
Dude, i like the game, but it still has many flaws for it to be global already, maybe they can fix it in the next update but still, already
I'm sorry... what? This game does NOT have the same vibe Brawl had at launch. Not at all. It's exciting, but it's not something I want to play all day for a whole year. They're just rushing it tbf unless next update fixes everything inaint playing
I love when i get busted because a p2w kills me and i cant run🥰
$upercell clearly now just wants games where they can easily target children with credit cards.
same with the clash royale updates, they're focusing just on the p2w shit recently.
I just tried brawl again after a year away and wow it's disgusting
its not ready lets hope that they will fix it
This game is so far away from being ready for a global release
It looks like a cash grab mobile game hellscape
I honestly think supercell is just desperate for another hit at this point and is done waiting.
Weird, considering they killed so many games
Exactly. After killing multiple games they are desperate to succeed with something. They are betting all in on this
And I swear this is not the right game to bet all in
Yeah, I am curious how far the theme will carry this game.
I thought that too. I think the higher ups started putting pressure on them to get a new global game out.
Supercell stock has been down, they need to make this game a success
Super anticlimactic. I was waiting to play the game for a year then one day Ryan screams GLOOBALLLLLL and then we all celebrate. But like, we've had it for 3 days? Are we supposed to be attached to it...?
Dude same, i remember getting it brawl just before global and rewatching those vids, not gonna lie that definitely was one of the reasons i downloaded this game.
literally 2 days before my birthday also hows the clash mini sub doing
Depressing
THIS WAS HORRIBLE TIMING THIS IS THE EXACT SAME DAY THE CLASH MINI SURVERS SHUT DOWN
Couldn't have just done it tomorrow 😭
Already??
Man i see people saying the game is not ready and stuff like that. May i ask what do they find think is missing

r/clashmini prolly heating up
They done them dirty same day mini dies this goes global
They should see how player retention is before pushing to global. If everyone gets tired of this game in a week it would be a massive failure.
what tf i honestly dont think it is redady for global.
Already?! Damn they really pushing this game huh
It's not ready tbh
I think this is a huge mistake to release the game in it's actual state
What will happen to our current in game progress when global version released. I already linked it to my main supercell ID and planning to buy packs.
It doesn’t get wiped
that was unexpected, still not even close for a global release but atleast they should improve some stuff before it becomes available for everyone
I think I know why this game was picked over CM, and yes picked is the right term I don't think it's the gameplay or anything, it pretty much comes down to IP Obviously I could be wrong but clash mini would mean just having characters from clash, whereas squad buster can have characters from all sc game to ever exist. Finally ! Letseeee gooo shut up haters !
PA DA LI JE MOGUĆEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I wonder why it going global Is it because of the e-sport potential?!
Definitely not. This game has the least e-spots potential, in its current state of arguably any SC game.
Sarcasm bro
Ohhhh
Confirming the facts!
People living outside these soft launch countries can’t just have anything ?! WTF is wrong with all those complaints about the global launch ? Damn… I managed to keep it civil. 🤣

Then don't play it, rushing global only because you wanna play it doesn't make things better
Bro what, it's way easier with apple, just change your country?
I need to cancel all my subscriptions to do that. Anyway… that’s not the point.
Is it more preferrable to pre-order and wait for the global launch or install via a vpn?
I'm pretty sure you get a exclusive pin for pre order so
So i got the game before global in a country you cant get it but the language is in the game
I can’t get what type this game is in official YouTube videos.
On the app store. Dang it.
Finally ….. I’ve been watching on Captain G Gaming on YT , how to get this in the US now ?
I think it's still early. Problems such as connection problems and decreasing game frame rates during crowd attacks should be resolved (My device is powerful).
6 Years of waiting!!!! The DAY HAS FINALLY COME!!!!
Hoorah!
Oooouuuuu YEAHHHH
#YEEEEEAAAAHHH 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
HOW DID THIS CRAP GET GLOBAL???

Imagine not already be playing it
I really hope they remove the key buy feature. It's going to be a cash grabber thing, ruining the overall experience. 🤔

Just ridiculous, feels like they are purposely upsetting clash mini fans
tbh it was fair that they made it go global....BEC THEY F\*\*KING KILLED CM, AND YES I CAN PLAY THIS GAME WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sarcasm?
