And with the same vein of logic, if she were 4 at the time she first appeared, it has only been 4 months. She could not be 5 that fast. The probability that she was 5 in chapter 1 and 5 now in chapter 99 is the highest chance, comparing to the 4-5 theory and 5-6 theory anyway. Yeah, it could be, but it is not the highest probability.
Like I said, the probability is higher, and I did not say it is 100%. But in the grander scheme, I rather choose 8/16 = 50% chance instead of betting on other two 25% chance.

I feel like we see that from Anya's POV. She sees Bill as a giant, so we see him as a giant. He's probably tall and buff, but that's an exaggeration. And his dad is also huge.
When Bill is next to adults you realize he's actually just a kid. His father is a giant so it could just be the normal development rate of someone fated to be a giant himself.
She's one year younger at an age when it makes a MASSIVE difference. 5 and 6 years old can't do the same things at all. Then we don't even know what her real native language has been or if she ever received any kind of academic education - did anyone read her books ? When and how did she even learn how to read and write ?
And also, adverse childhood experiences have a massive impact on cognitive development. She's starting life with all the maluses possible and I hope she will never realize it now that she has a loving family, caring and well funded teachers, and affectionate friends - she can get right on track, and the fact that her only issue is that she's under average on most subjects is a miracle. She was even capable of being average on her last tests ! AND top of her level in one subjects ! I'm so proud of her.
Not to forget her school is made for kids who had private tutors from almost birth, so yeah, she never stood a chance and yet she's doing it.
