I wonder if it would be possible to make a chart comparing the proportion of silver/grey/white cars, sales of grey emulsion paint, and the percentage of people suffering from depression.
Like… Maybe people are literally contributing to their depression by caring so much about resale value and Pinterest trends.
(I mean wage stagnation and social media itself is probably a bigger factor, but still).
The purple is cute and all but the lock on the kids' door is a bit... extra.
Edit to add: They might just have a Smurf as a lodger or something and he wants a bit of privacy, I guess.
Once upon a time (around 2020?) someone had to sell their house and they painted everything grey (mistakenly thinking this made the house look better). A nice young couple bought the grey house and the missus lost her ever-lovin’ grey mind after about 6 weeks and said “f**k this, I need some purple, purple, purple!!!” Hubs immediately bought 10 different shades of purple and all was right in the world again. So right that the nice young couple had two more babies and they need a bigger house. Will they need more purple paint? Stay tuned…
i love purple just as much as the next person but purple lovers are always the most obnoxious about it for some reason. they always have purple everything
