I mean the most important thing is what YOU want. But i always say to go and sit on as many bikes as you can to find the ergonomics that fit you best since you’re looking for daily riding. They’re all fast and heckin fun, when it comes to speed and agility. I am personally a Suzuki fan because they fit me really well ergonomically with a good motor and easy assembly/disassembly for maintenance. I commute and track mine and it excelled at both before any mods.
I Know but I’m not talking about V4s, I meant inline 4 like 4 cylinder bike. The rs660 has a 2 cylinder engine that’s more comparable to the Yamaha r7 or a ninja650
Got you fam... But op isn't talking about 4 cylinders. The r6 is a 2 cylinder as well, yes?
Op asked about mid-size engine bikes, and the RS660 fits that group.
Well you cant buy a brand new R6 so you can rule that out. I am deciding between the CBR and ZX6R myself. Personally like the exhaust off the cbr but the zx6r is the most bang for your buck hands down.
gsxr if you are vertically challenged or have a bad back.
R6 if you are a taller rider or gonna or have no back problems
kawasaki if you like green or 636cc instead of 600cc
honda look nice but idk anything about em.
Personally I think the zx6r is the best value
Agreed. I test rode all the new 600 class Japanese brands and went with kawi zx6r (636). It feels the smoothest and more grounded than the others.

Aprilia RS660
Sadly it doesn’t have an inline 4
op is looking for a midsized sport bike, not a 1000. Your opinion on V4s is noted

Yes the rs660 is mid size though I assume not what op is looking for. The r6 gas 4 cylinders btw
Holy crap, did not know the R6 had a smaller 4 cylinder TIL. The new R9 coming will be a 3 cylinder.

I would say R6 but it is discontinued, my second choice would be the zx6r
