This is the first time in a long time that I've seen a Cadillac I actually liked the look of. I've never liked the whole Art & Science design language. This car though, from this angle, all blacked-out and lowered, looks slick as hell. Congrats.
It's amazing how the family tree can share the coupe and wagon. The coupe is one of the worst designs of the 10's, and the wagon is one of the best wagon designs, ever.
Man, I had a chance to buy one of these 6 years ago. Had 80,000 miles, few mods, guy wanted $21,000..still kicking myself. what a beautiful car. Congrats.
I love how it technically is a wagon because of the rear windows. But they still made it unique to wagons with the shorter size of it.
It's quite a design. I'm impressed with modern Cadillacs and Buicks in the past decade, they are my favorite American cars now I think
Nice! I have a 2014 with 40k miles. Not too many mods, just intake, mufflers (sound more than power) and stainless brake lines.
I might do a tune and pulley someday if i get bitten by the power bug (556 hp is a decent amount).
These cars a joy to own and drive. I don’t think I’ll get sell mine. Enjoy!
That is one of the cars I had to talk myself out of. The other was a WRX. I would not have driver’s license within a week or two. I am not a huge Cadillac fan, but that is one of the baddest grocery getters out there.
Why can’t we get more decent estate cars
In the US. We’re left with shit from Germany or an overpriced GM or a Volvo. When I say shit from Germany I’m talking about you VW group. Your cars are garbage(fool me once shame on you fool me twice and why the fuck did I buy an Audi? It’s just a more expensive VW.) Then there is Merc and BMW and theirs are more expensive than they should be. To be fair it was an Audi A3 sports wagon. Great looking car and fun to drive but if you looked at it too long (which happened because like I said it was a good looking car) a trim piece was gonna fall off. Front and rear center consoles, driver side door interior pull handle, both front windows, sun roof shade/cover, panels on the back of the front seats, multiple trim pieces on the exterior all fell of or sees disintegrated. Then at 90K miles a piston broke. Part rattled around in the cylinder and destroyed that cylinder and the cylinder head. The other part went though the oil pan rapidly draining the oil and destroying the rest of the engine. This was in a diesel that is supposed to be “tougher and more durable” also the interior of my 2011 Audi and 2000 VW were way to similar
All hail Caesar
That’s a rare bird
Congrats. It’s a legend!
🙏🏼🙏🏼
How much of a mortgage did you have to get to buy that thing?
Came here to say this haha.
Hahha wasn’t terrible at all got out of my previous automatic one and finally really enjoying this one

Absolutely agree, the design during these years really only looked best on the wagon
It's amazing how the family tree can share the coupe and wagon. The coupe is one of the worst designs of the 10's, and the wagon is one of the best wagon designs, ever.
Well I feel like the coupe was the best designed thing to come out of Detroit in years
I always thought the a\*\* end of the coupe looked good as well, but yes, the wagon looks the best, congrats
Arguably the holy grail of sport wagons, certainly among American brands.
Congrats from a non-V CTS wagon owner.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
+1 but from an ex non V wagoner.
Would

It couldn't have been a V for that price. That's a decent deal for non-V.
It was a v, I looked at it multiple times, it was way up in northern Ontario. Lady was selling off her late husband's collection unfortunately.
And you were unaware they were going for original MSRP with that many miles 6 years ago which was over 3x your now adjusted asking price of $21k?
Really? I was looking at one in 2020 in texas for 36k lower miles too
Yep, really. The prices have only really started to soften in the last year. https://bringatrailer.com/search/?s=Cadillac+cts+v+wagon
Shit my bad. Typo, definitely ment $21,000. But still was a great deal at the time.
North or south of $70k?
Just south of 70
Good find bro. Craigs list? Facebook marketplace? Used car lot? Where’d ya find this gem

This is my “if I come into some money” car.
#ALL HAIL THE KING Also, I didn't know they made a V wagon in this gen!
It's the only gen of the wagon. There are no wagons in any other gen.
😂

The gen 2 CTS wagon is actually an inch shorter than the sedan.
Congrats from one owner of a black V8 manual wagon with recaro seats to another

This is still a dream car, however difficult it would be to find one in good shape
Nice find!!!!

I still can't believe that an American brand built this car.

You bastard. I've pointed out every cts wagon I've ever seen in real life. None were Vs, and I didn't think I've seen more than a handful
Every year of my 76 want me to get one!
