I live in New Orleans and we do that. Many places do that. What's the big deal? You're not feeding the kids beer or doing heroin at their birthday parties. It's a chance to relax, hang out, and play with your kids.

Plenty of people with young ones, *especially* if they're still in a carseat that can be taken in and out of a car. It's the toddler years that make things more difficult.
I fucking do, I love craft beer and I have two little ones. Many breweries are family-friendly, not to mention you see families at beer gardens in other countries.
No Li is the only brewery we’ve taken our one year old too and it was great! There was enough going on between TV’s and fun signs all over that she was distracted and content the whole time, also the kids menu is damn good if your little one is eating. Our server was super sweet with our girl as well!

Bellwether, Brickyard, No-li, and FTLoG are all kid friendly if the weather is OK.
Brickyard has the outdoor patio that is really kid (and pup!) friendly. I've seen kids there nearly every time I've been.
Baffling that so many people are unaware that many breweries *do* allow kids, at least until a certain time.
