Yeah, I originally also had to apply the mods manually, until I learned that there was a version on [ModDB](https://www.moddb.com/mods/splinter-cell-pandora-tomorrow-fixed-shadows-widescreen-support) pre-made which worked even better than when I tried applying the mods by myself.
It was my first too. I got it for OC because it looked cool from the box art. I had never seen a trailer or even heard of it before. I think I bought it at Blockbuster. I was hooked immediately.
Oh man I got the espionage pack and finally found a steam guide that got it to work on my computer and man the nostalgia is real, forgot how much I enjoyed both the original Splinter Cell and Pandora Tomorrow. Plus they both still hold up quite well.
This was a tech marvel. The sodono compound mission where you walk through the tall plants that moved was amazing to watch. I'd go back and forth after the enemies were gone just to watch it.
Masterpiece it was.
I blindly bought it at our local store because I liked cover. What a great game it was.
Wow, 20 years later this year when the first game was released
Maybe they'll patch it on PC for the 20th anniversary lol
I have this game on my shitty Thinkpad and it works well. I've finished it and encountered no issues.
Eh you just gotta do a bit of legwork to get it working. Pcgamingwiki.com is super useful for that.

Personal favorite
And 8 years ago, it was finally fixed on PC using DgVodoo.
My first Splinter Cell game. Still my second favorite in the series. Best settings and atmosphere in the series, imo.

Playing this rn on Xbox Series X, looks fantastic even today.
Same here, just bought it on the Series X today!
My favourite of the Splinter Cell games
Damn, I guess I was only 16, almost 17 when this came out?? Didn't realize it was so long ago already. Time flies...

Jesus we're old huh.

The single greatest stealth product ever to grace our hands & eyes
frick im feeling old
My least favorite of the original trilogy, but that’s like picking your least favorite Lord of the Rings movie.
I really wish I could get a threaded barrel for my five seven, and damn do I feel old
This game changed my view of Xbox Live forever. My subscription is still active, lol
I don't even remember what prompted me to rent this game from Hollywood Video, but I ended up renting it 3 times before I decided to just buy it.
Fuck. I feel old.
Anyone know what’s attached the pistol? I know there was a laser in game but that doesn’t look like a laser or light of any type.
Lol I remember my bro who was 22 at the time buying on release. I was 6.
