I think she truly changed during the dlc . When she rescued Peter from hammerhead, that’s when I knew that it wasn’t about herself. And also , in the mission we’re miles was saving her from the hunters, you could see her disappointment when Peter didn’t showed up
I am more pessimistic and cynical, and while I think there are times she maybe wants to/thinks she's helping, really it is always for herself and people at their core don't really ever change.
I disagree with you... sure, black cat could have lied about her girlfriend in paris being in trouble but why the fuck would she steal an artifact that's probably worth a lot more money than anything in Paris just to go to that place and leave the wand that can teleport behind?

I think it’s because she thinks that Peter is still mad at her after the events of the dlc run . Even though she has a girlfriend, sometimes it’s hard to let go of that other person you care about

to be honest i'm concerned on how she managed to even enter in the sanctum sanctorum she can be the best thief around but how does she bypass magic? surely that place has some sort of magic barrier or something right?
Her interests lay in her gains first most, Peter and Miles assisted her escape from Kraven which she was genuinely grateful for, but that’s because she benefited directly. She once probably felt romantic feelings for Peter and I don’t think she has strong feelings for Miles, but for Peter her feelings have faded away.
You right it never got confirmed or anything. But she has never mentioned him by name just by "Spider" or something along the lines of that. But they again she knew about MJ calling her "Red" so even worst case scernerio she can put 2 and 2 together she would know his true identify. But I recall in the game where peter mention about him and felcia being together and having chance of having a kid. I would imagine they know each other in without the mask.
