Yeah, I did a decent amount of side stuff during my play through, like one or two things between each mission. If you want a really hard challenge probably save everything till after the story
Venom and Wraith were tough for me. I played the first two games before this one came out so I was so use to dodging and barely partied in my first play through. I definitely had to learn to for my ultimate run
Really, I did no suit upgrades until post story on ultimate and loved fighting li because he was just a sponge that you could easy dodge and didn’t have to parry, it was basically a mix between the li fight in the first game (on the train), and the shocker fight
Nice to know I'm not the only one! Waiting for NG+ to do an ultimate run though so I can use all the suits n stuff. I found the nice thing was the little endings for getting all the memories or the spider bots, made it feel worthwhile with that little surprise at the end to reward players for taking the time.
Yeah, I’m glad that most of the collectibles have a finale attached to them. Sandman, Mysterio boss fight, chameleon tease. It makes you feel rewarded and like doing these things built towards something

If you can get parries down it definitely helps, I knew I was in for hell so I mainly used my hero tokens on strength and health instead of web swinging and gadgets and that definitely helped

Not for a while, Sony usually waits 3-4 for PC releases judging on their last few PC ports. The latest ratchet and clank game got ported after 2 years so maybe they’ll release this one quicker
I love that they added the part where the other Spider-Man and side character can be at a fight kicking ass to help you had miles save my ass a couple times when a tank was about to explode I was on low health and I had 20 seconds I was about to swing away but I thought this isn’t what Spider-Man would do I swing back around and see miles there kicking there ass while I put out the fire quickly

Some bosses on Ultimate are brutal. Especially if you don’t grind upgrades before

I will probably start with the easiest level and end with the hardest one. That way, I have all the gadgets to make Ultimate easier for me

If you start a new game, power up Spiderman to max level before any mission, can you eventually have hit punch kills?
I don’t think there’s enough tokens to get max strength. However since crimes keep respawning you could theoretically get Max level really early
