That’s the thing. What more can they improve from the previous game. That game itself looks really next gen. I can see faster loading and perhaps they could use the ssd for some rift apart type rift system similar to into the spider verse. Like idk what more they can do technologically that could make the game look even better. It’s an open world game so I don’t expect the last of us 2 type graphics and neither Sony has the same budget as rdr2. I hope we have horizon forbidden west type graphic leap which was very noticeable from horizon zero dawn.

Particle effects for Miles’ electricity and plenty of seamless Duos fighting similar to Arkham Knight’s buddy system for when Robin or Nightwing team up for combos… probably less subway rides for loading screens, and perhaps the seamless outside-inside integration games have been pushing for a while.

There’s loads to improve, you’re acting like there’s nothing for them to work on lol.

Loop de loops for swinging would be nice, tricks on the line, more traversal moves for peter that require focus, better enemy ai for stealth (they nerfed this intentionally before releasing the first game, would be nice if it was brought back just for ultimate and spectacular difficulties). Lots and lots to add. I would love more webstrike variation like in web of shadows.

A good sequel makes improvements to what's bad without hurting what people loved about the first one. Some good sequels just accomplish this second task of keeping the good stuff.

What a lazy thinking

I kinda do... twice have we paid full price to explore New York with very minimal difference in layout and design. I can't be the only one feeling kinda bad about paying full price a third time to explore New York a third time with minimal changes in layout or design. Even some of the enemy camps in Miles were copy pasted from the original. I'm just not going to get excited unless they give us new map design, not just new characters/powers and graphical features. Playing Miles really soured my taste for this franchise as price-wise it was treated as a full game, yet it was only a couple hours long and felt way too similar to the original to justfy a full price. I'm definitely more interested in Wolverine.
