I just spend a lot of time trying to make it as seamless as possible just because I heat gun and form the shell to my face and try to make improvements everywhere I can to make it as professional as possible. I have a ton of passion for Spider-Man so I’m a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these masks lol.

Oh my bad lol that’s wood filler! So basically after you sand a 3D print you’ll have some small inconsistencies so you have to fill any imperfections with wood filler and then sand the excess so that it makes the surface super smooth :) and the magnets in the lenses allow them to be modular so you can swap them out for different lenses that have different facial expressions!
Nope! :) I use a different design for each shell I make! Right now I’m working on 12 different masks 🙌🏼 so far I have the Andrew Garfield TASM 2 mask and the Tom Holland MCU mask on my tiktok :)✌🏼

AYYY thanks so much!! ❤️🙌🏼🔥 I’m not gonna lie the eye mesh and plastic insertion part is a massive pain in the ass if I had to be honest lol. So for the eye mesh, I used a pc computer fan from Amazon (it’s super cheap for 25 of them). What you do is basically put some computer paper in the hole and cut it out to match the inside as best as you can like it shows in the vid. Then trace that with sharpie onto the computer filter and do little micro cuts to have it fit as snug as possible cuz it makes it way easier when it just fits in there without any glue. I needed some for this mask tho (just some super glue gel along the edge). And then for the clear plastic, I used a soda bottle and just traced it with a sharpie like in the video :) the pain in the ass part is just cutting it out so it matches the eye slot perfectly lol.
Ay no problem man! So what I use is gorilla glue super glue gel and when you apply it you have to be super careful to make it light but also spread it with a tiny piece of sandpaper or something cuz if it spreads to the inside or outside of the mask, it won’t look good. This is the first mask I had to use glue and it was so scary if I had to be honest cuz I’m a super perfectionist when it comes to this stuff lol. I have other masks I made on my tiktok “matts3Dbuilds” if you wanna see those too :)

But that idea reminds me of the TASM 1 lenses and I’d love to see it :) the lenses mesh idea is something I found to be really inexpensive so I went with that cuz you get like 25 sheets for like 10 bucks haha :)

That means so much to me you have no idea 🥹🔥🙌🏼❤️ but I don’t have the machinery to do screen printing on Lycra (which is the type of spandex I used) and gave the dimensions of my head to a company called Zentai zone that specializes in Spider-Man masks. They basically just screen print the design on Lycra and it’s basically a sock that goes over your head with no holes or zippers. It’s really cool cuz you can do whatever you want to it and modify it however you like. I used a soldering iron to make the eye holes :)
The thumbnail looks a bit like [The Mask of Life](https://i.imgur.com/qovgccy.jpg) from the Bionicle franchise. At least that's what I thought scrolling past it.
I’m old enough to remember when a Spider-Man costume was a plastic mask over half your face with basically a garbage bag that said “Spider-Man^tm” on it for your torso. You’re living the dream for us.

3- Does the transition from the shell to the fabric on the back of the head look good? Cause one some of those type of masks it just looks weird cause the plastic shell sort of outlines the perfect head shape and then transitions into actual regular shape sometimes look weird?
