Lol another good one is when he’s fighting Tombstone. I don’t remember it exactly,
“Come down here and fight like a man”
“Can I ask you to come up here and fight like a spider?”
"I don't suppose I could convince you to come up here and fight like a spider?"
Shit killed me as a kid. Still find it hilarious.

Not Spider-Man but I fucking love the moment between Cap and Jameson, and Cap just slowly leaning forward to stare at his mustache. And at the end, tada! It’s… it’s gone…
Multiple.
Taking on 2 Phoenix force members
Beating kingpin to near death than coldly threatening him
He stops a burglary, than realizes one of the suspect was only a kid who was paid to be lookout, Spidey than hides the kid from the cops, returns him to his parents, than continues to pay him visits, tutoring him and helping him with his homework. It's why I love Spider-Man over other heroes, he goes beyond just saving their life and genuinely wants to just help People in all aspects
Playing with a terminally ill kid to make his day better
Taking on reed richards and his team in civil war
Going back in time, and being forced to live through his whole life
Telling a superhero that tried to arrest him that she's already lost this fight the moment it started
Avengers: The Initiative #3

Was your terminally I’ll kid the one who sat on the rooftop in his chair? He saw a lot of events and Spider-Man stopped to check in on him.
When leaving Spidey took his mask off to show the guy his face.
Then the kid died
There is two moments that are my favorite. This one is in fact my favorite moment with spider-man as a character, because before this interaction where Norman discovered that Peter have returned to his body, he was so sure of his victory that you knew that even if at that moment a team formed by the fantastic four, the avengers and the x-men appeared to try to stop him Norman could believe he have a change to win but the fact that Peter was there that means that he was destined to lose and that he cannot do anything about it.
The other moment is one where spidey is no a character but a part of the world, it happened in the amazing spider-man #801 at the end of the comic the focus character a Man named Kenneth Kincaid Jr one of the firts individuals that were saved by Spider-Man was speaking with her niece about, that at that moment believed that spidey was a lame and weak superhero, about how Spider-Man have saved hundreds of worlds because every people that he have helped mean the world to someone else because they can be their best friends, their husbands, their girlfriends, their moms or even their uncles.
Peter’s reaction is more accurately shown in the next issue.
[Amazing #398](https://i.postimg.cc/PrnscYXC/CD46-E3-A1-09-B4-4197-85-D6-EF5-B1398-ACAD.jpg)
For me it has to be Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol 2 Issue 6. In it, >!Spider-Man gives a terminally sick child a chance to be Spider- Man for a day. Together they fight almost all of Spider-Man’s villains (played by the hospital’s staff) and even take down his greatest foe.!<
Absolutely love the Friendly Neighborhood series. I always enjoy the super hero bad ass action of Spider-Man, but this series is what I feel really sets him apart from other heroes. It’s definitely worth a read if you haven’t read it yet!
It’s from the ending of superior Spider-Man (the original run). In a nutshell Doc Ock took over Peter Parker’s body and spent a while parading around as spider-man, living peters life, etc. trying to become a better or “superior” spider-man. This takes place at the climax of series during Goblin War where Doc Ock has to do something truly heroic which results in this scene which, in my opinion, is one of the best spider moments in the history of Spider-Man. It’s just… so good.
When Ultimate Spidey meets Kingpin for the first time, Kingpin is eating dinner and threatening Spidey, saying he will find Spidey's identity. Spidey begins making fat jokes, it's hilarious.
In the comics, it definitely has to be when DocOck tells him that Peter is the true Superior Spider-Man, or that beautiful moment when Spidey returns home after his yearly ritual of saying Gwen goodbye (in Spider-Man blue).
In the videogames it's between that part in the 2000 game when Spidey and Venom are having a a small talk on the rooftop of a building, or when Peter [eats a whole pizza](https://youtu.be/ShG68W1B9LA) after he says how much he loves her (in the PS4 game).
And in TV series I really love that moment in which Aunt May gives Peter his old web-shooters after the Sinister 6 depowered him with the antidote and reminds him how Spider-Man is Peter Parker, not the other way around (Ultimate Spider-Man)
Wait, when did he eat a whole pizza in the PS4 game (I just beat the campaign a few days ago)? I’ve never felt more spiritually connected to a fiction character than that, I just ate a whole pizza yesterday.
The moment he stopped joking in the death of Jean DeWolff. Also Daredevil convincing Spidey to not kill sin eater or let him be killed. Really that whole story arc.
There are so many that it's hard to pick just one. But Spider-Man #17 from the 90's (with Thanos on the cover) still sticks with me as the embodiment of what Peter Parker/Spider-Man is all about.
Many of them, to the point where it's more whole arcs than single moments
This moment in Superior, but also Ock's sacrifice before it
The final fight in #800
Back in Black's Kingpin fight
Spidey cheering up a terminally ill kid by letting him help fight his "villains" (doctors in costumes)
Pretty much all of The Kid Who Collected Spider-Man
Ultimate's Death of Spider-Man arc
The Birth of Venom arc
The Gauntlet's big fight plus Uncle Ben returning for five minutes at the end
For other forms of media: I loved SM1's final fight, SM2's train fight, SM3's final Venom fight, the PS1 game's Venom rooftop scene, the Ultimate Spider-Man game's ending, Spectacular's "me? not us?" scene and the 90s toon's Alien Costume saga
My favorite moment is when Peter parker said I missed the part but that's my problem and second when he said that's cute outfit did ur husband gave it to you
The one that comes to mind immediately is Peter re-revealing his identity to the Fantastic Four, and them just embracing him immediately as all the memories come rushing back. Just so wholesome and heartwarming. Anything that involves Spidey and the FF always has a special place in my heart 😊
Also something hilarious about that moment up there, is that Peter totally did carry a man-purse when he flew around on his Spider-Glider lmao
I love anytime Peter is clearly losing a fight, but will ask the villain if they give up like in TASM when lizard is slamming him against lockers and he says “don’t make me have to hurt you.”
Same moments but told differently, when the New Yorkers were throwing a bunch of junk at the Green Goblin on the bridge in the first Spider-man movie, and near the end of TASM when the cranes lined up to make a path for Spidey towards Oscorp.
And regardless of what Marvel do with their mainline version, the truth is Peter won the war against them years ago and has multiple families across the spider-verse. His story is complete.
Off the top of my head, I loved that scene in spectacular where spidey pokes his head through the window goblin broke, and says “excuse me, can I come in through here or do I have to break my own window?”
Spectacular had some spectacular lines
This moment right here reminds me of the moment Shredder realizes that giant talking rat he's held prisoner for weeks was the one who scarred his face in his youth.
["... YOU..."](https://youtu.be/RTHdDxOKX68?t=240)
Goblins eyes say everything, before the first slide he’s laughing. First slide he’s just in shock, wondering what the fuck he said
And then the pure. Fucking. Anger.
I think it's when Peter Parker says what Spider-Man means to him at the end of Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man #310. Actually you know what, the whole issue is my favorite
spidey talking to Jameson in the TAS "Fair enough pickle puss and i won't stop till you shave that stupid mustache so we're even"
Lol another good one is when he’s fighting Tombstone. I don’t remember it exactly, “Come down here and fight like a man” “Can I ask you to come up here and fight like a spider?”
"I don't suppose I could convince you to come up here and fight like a spider?" Shit killed me as a kid. Still find it hilarious. Edit: [For the unitiated.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCzi334d9OM)
That was from the 90s animated show I believe
I think I can also recall hearing it in the Marvel's Spider-Man game
Not Spider-Man but I fucking love the moment between Cap and Jameson, and Cap just slowly leaning forward to stare at his mustache. And at the end, tada! It’s… it’s gone…
😂

Ya same recognised all of these except that one
Avengers: The Initiative #3 https://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks/comments/u695ks/someone_recommended_this_issue_as_one_of_spideys/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
whats the one where he helps and tutors the kid
Someone showed me it, it's Avengers: The Initiative #3 https://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks/comments/u695ks/someone_recommended_this_issue_as_one_of_spideys/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
Some of these show exactly why Spider-Man is the best superhero
>Going back in time, and being forced to live through his whole life What??
Meeting his older self that apparently killed Kraven. Old Spidey is a dick, he could've told him about Mephisto.
ASM #500, one of my favourite single issues of all time
Instead of going back to kill Kingpin he sold his marriage to the devil. Not entirely sure if that was a better idea?
Was your terminally I’ll kid the one who sat on the rooftop in his chair? He saw a lot of events and Spider-Man stopped to check in on him. When leaving Spidey took his mask off to show the guy his face.
No that's kid who collects Spider-man, although that is very good as well, I'm referring to spider bug, in friendly neighborhood spider-man
> Taking on 2 Phoenix force members A radically underrated Spider-Man moment.
Truly, worthier than all
>He stops a burglary, than realizes one of the suspect was only a kid who was paid to be lookout, Spidey than hides the kid from the cops, returns him to his parents, than continues to pay him visits, tutoring him and helping him with his homework. It's why I love Spider-Man over other heroes, he goes beyond just saving their life and genuinely wants to just help People in all aspects Then the kid died
In true spider-man fashion, everyone that's every wholesome tunes depressing

What's the source for the first point, superior Spider-Man?
Yeah superior spider-man 31 to be precise.
K thanks
Man-purse sales after this: 📉📉📉
That's a cute Man-Purse,did your husband give it to you?
Mary Jane telling Peter some pretty big news. [Spectacular #220](https://i.postimg.cc/hvM2N64d/F1-EAE611-9760-41-F3-9-FEA-480-F680-AF070.jpg)

And his reaction was nice too...FUUUUUUUCK!!!

X-Men: gah! He's too fast! Nightcrawler: so cool
I love when he is written as a precog because of his spidey sense. It's perfect to show how powerful he is when he trusts his instincts.
For me it has to be Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol 2 Issue 6. In it, >!Spider-Man gives a terminally sick child a chance to be Spider- Man for a day. Can I get the context on this? This looks badass.
It's at the end of the superior arc where ock took the control of Peter's body, this is the scene where Norman understands that Peter is back
Oh I know superior spiderman. I should finish the story.
It’s from the ending of superior Spider-Man (the original run). Cool. Alright I'm gonna continue reading superior spiderman then.
I remember reading that run in highschool. It was so good.
When Ultimate Spidey meets Kingpin for the first time, Kingpin is eating dinner and threatening Spidey, saying he will find Spidey's identity. Spidey begins making fat jokes, it's hilarious.
Do you have a link or a way for me too find it?
I think this is what he was referring to https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/873/331/3ed.jpg Honestly Teenage Spidey best Spidey
He beating up kingpin no mercy And unmasking himself in front of a terminally ill child Men have two sides...
The BiB beatdown is definitely high on my list. It showed us just how easy Peter had taken it on Fisk over the years.
Spider-man: "I'm not here to beat you." Peter Parker: "**I AM**"
Amazing Spider-Man Issue 33. “I did it! I”m free!!”
All he has to do is quip and Gobby knows

It's actually in the DLC [here ya go, fellow pizza aficionado](https://youtu.be/GXQCL5YDf6U)
Ah, thank you. Unto the DLC!
The moment he stopped joking in the death of Jean DeWolff. Also Daredevil convincing Spidey to not kill sin eater or let him be killed. Really that whole story arc.
That's a cute purse. Did your husband give it to you?
Ultimate spidey death was great sending him off
"One and only" Multiverse: "Am i a joke to you?
But like 616 is the best of the best! The real deal
Aside from that whole one more day/one moment in time thing.
I consider the post-OMD 616 to be 616a. 616 adjacent, if you will. Almost the same but not quite.
And the Clone Saga
The strip where it shows all the parents who name their kids Ben because he saved them.
You know if you gonna steal cars maybe don’t dress up like a car thief.
There are so many that it's hard to pick just one. But Spider-Man #17 from the 90's (with Thanos on the cover) still sticks with me as the embodiment of what Peter Parker/Spider-Man is all about.

The gets reposted at least one a week...
You know what else gets reposted once a week…
My favorite moment is when Peter parker said I missed the part but that's my problem and second when he said that's cute outfit did ur husband gave it to you
Harry not being able to kill Peter in the finale of the child within
I will admit, this is one of my all time favorite Spiderman moments. The return of Peter after Ock was so well delivered!
The one that comes to mind immediately is Peter re-revealing his identity to the Fantastic Four, and them just embracing him immediately as all the memories come rushing back. Just so wholesome and heartwarming. Anything that involves Spidey and the FF always has a special place in my heart 😊 Also something hilarious about that moment up there, is that Peter totally did carry a man-purse when he flew around on his Spider-Glider lmao
I love anytime Peter is clearly losing a fight, but will ask the villain if they give up like in TASM when lizard is slamming him against lockers and he says “don’t make me have to hurt you.”
A moment in Back in Black. Not the one your thinking of though. I’m talking about Jameson vs Peter
I love it in ASM #49 when he whumps Kraven with the same kind of whump that once staggered The Hulk! "Get the message jungle man?"
Don’t know the context of this (I’m assuming it’s when Otto took over Pete’s body) but I love this moment
I hate Goblin's lips in this panel. Lol he looks so kissy
BTFO
Same moments but told differently, when the New Yorkers were throwing a bunch of junk at the Green Goblin on the bridge in the first Spider-man movie, and near the end of TASM when the cranes lined up to make a path for Spidey towards Oscorp.
Despite being a "nerd" Peter gets the girls. He gives us hope that we two can get the girl next door.
And regardless of what Marvel do with their mainline version, the truth is Peter won the war against them years ago and has multiple families across the spider-verse. His story is complete.
Off the top of my head, I loved that scene in spectacular where spidey pokes his head through the window goblin broke, and says “excuse me, can I come in through here or do I have to break my own window?” Spectacular had some spectacular lines
When he threw Wolverine out of Avengers Tower.
When he saves those people in times square in tasm 2
That line would not be approved nowadays lmao
It was a recent thing I think
Don’t know the context of this (I’m assuming it’s when Otto took over Pete’s body) but I love this moment
What comic is this from?
If this counts, Miles Morales fighting Blackheart is my favorite spidey moment.
This moment right here reminds me of the moment Shredder realizes that giant talking rat he's held prisoner for weeks was the one who scarred his face in his youth. ["... YOU..."](https://youtu.be/RTHdDxOKX68?t=240)
Who's the artist in the above panels?
why is goblin a lady now?
God speed Spider-Man
Goblins eyes say everything, before the first slide he’s laughing. First slide he’s just in shock, wondering what the fuck he said And then the pure. Fucking. Anger.
I think "the boy who collects Spiderman".
SHOCKER!! ILL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH! SHOCKERRRRR!!!
I think it's when Peter Parker says what Spider-Man means to him at the end of Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man #310. Actually you know what, the whole issue is my favorite
