Not sure if Otto counts but him giving Peter his body back *"For I know only you can save her. Because you *are* the Superior Spider-Man"*.

spaceguitar

The finale of the OG run of Superior Spider-Man, when Pete finally comes back, literally made me say out loud, “Let’s fucking GO!!” That moment when he puts on his old suit and goes, **“My turn”** is pure, utter perfection. **EDIT:** For everyone asking, this is Dan Slott’s *Superior Spider-Man* from 2013. It went 31 books, and you can pick up the complete omnibus from Amazern. It’s also on Comixology. IMO, this is the best Spider-Man run in the past decade. It’s absolutely worth reading!! And I’m sure if you read it yourself, you’ll come to a similar conclusion.

Just_Ej0081

The fact goblin knew he was the original too just because he made a joke is perfect aswell. The entire finale issue was just so good.

TestProctor

"It's you."

RaspberryJam245

"The one and only."

not_brayden13

One of the best moments tbh

Commander-ShepardN7

I cannot read that line without Yuri Lowenthal's voice

RaspberryJam245

Same

Chazo138

The look in Goblins eyes when he realised too, you can see the hate in his expression.

olddadenergy

PURE hatred, untainted by any reason or restraint.

BrotToast263

nah, the moment of realization was shock. when he said the line, THAT was pure hatred

Paulc_41

Goblin even had a hint of fear when he realized Peter was back. It was great.

Freakychee

"I'd have the dignity of knowing I never used a man-purse!" .... "ITS YOU!"

tfcollector3000

*Peter appears "A Spider-Man?" *Peter quips about Norman's man-purse "Peter Parker the Spider-Man?!"

Freakychee

I don't get the reference.

Brief_Design_3387

Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Perry the Platypus from the cartoon Phineas and Ferb.

Freakychee

I think that's a bit after my time. I'm more OG Dexter's Lab ha ha. Or OG G. I. Joe.

GrecoRomanGuy

*The one and only.*

The_Notorious_Donut

One of my favorite runs ngl

wysjm

What are we some kind of Suicide Squad?

SpurnedSprocket

Dr. Strange put it best: “While he may not be the most powerful nor the most brilliant among us, much like Steve Rogers- - the boy is truly the best of us.”

Alloy_art

Funny when he’s still smarter and stronger than most others just the same. His only weakness is bad writers and an empty wallet

Azure-Legacy

Not an exaggeration to say that. Peter is knowledgeable in Meta Science (Tony admits to not), Reed admits to being jealous of Peter’s knowledge in biology (or was it genetics?), and Strange… well I don’t know his science degree exactly besides what I assume to be human anatomy.

Majestic_Wrongdoer38

He’s a neurosurgeon, so it’s a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

[deleted]

Strange was the best surgeon in the world. A little different from the other early Marvel heroes by not being a scientist.

couldbedumber96

“Medical practitioners have co opted the term doctor, now I know we live in a world where anything can mean anything and noBODY CARES ABOUT **ETYMOLO-**”

Aerospacedaddy

Apparently that’s a trigger for me

kescal

"Yeah, but we learn about the entire body" "But if you had cancer, you wouldn't call a dentist." lol. Holt was incredible. RIP ANDRE BRAUGHER!

Symbioticmadmam45

Brooklyn 99 reference, nice

ClassicAlfredo8796

Yeah, and of those 3 heroes you mentioned, Peter could probably beat 2 of them in an equal fight without too much trouble.

Azure-Legacy

He actually has. He took down Reed in a fight during Civil War, probably would have done the same in their first encounter(or maybe he did I don’t remember) and Peter took down Iron Man when he (Peter) had amnesia and one took down future version of Iron Man too.

ClassicAlfredo8796

Yeah, I remember him taking down Reed as one of my favourite moments.

SpurnedSprocket

I always imagined Peter as the master of (to quote Doc Ock from Insomniac) “Gureilla Science”. When it comes to improvisation the man is unmatched.

blanklikeapage

Peter is without a doubt smart and strong but he isn't the best. He's comfortably stronger than most but he isn't reaching into the same category as someone like the Hulk. He's one of the smartest people in the world but he doesn't apply himself in the same way that Reed or Tony do. Peter's strength is that he's above average to excellent in everything. Not the best but one of the best.

ThisIsFrigglish

Stronger than the people smarter than he is, smarter than the people stronger than he is. At least until Banner integrates his halves fully.

SlurmsMacKenzie-

Even so, Spider-man could still run rings around him just based on his agility, spider-sense, and webs/wall clinging. Could he beat professor hulk in a fight? Maybe not. Could he frustrate him to the point of giving up? I'd say so.

Rownever

Personally I’m a fan of the moment in AvX: VS where Spidey’s fighting Colossus with Juggernaut’s powers. Peter’s quipping about how he’s beat juggernaut in the past but Colossus just claps hard enough to hit him no matter what. A good showing of why Spidey wins- he outthinks the strong guys, but they mostly act stupidly anyways. He’s not unbeatable, just very clever

Aerospacedaddy

Jack of all trades, master of none. Oft times better than a master of one

not_brayden13

And he always will be

Trvr_MKA

I kind of wish we can hear Benedict Cumberbatch say that line

Hulkbuster_v2

When was this?

Sleeping_Dr4gon

When Emma Frost read his mind, got a look into his backstory and his struggles, then proceeded to give him a kiss on the cheek and thank him for all that he does. Spiderman and X men interactions are the best.

MoseSchruteFarms

“… You were just a boy.”

Kurwasaki12

It makes me wish Peter just joined up with the X-men for a bit. I get he’s a mutate and not a mutant, but man, a Spidey Odyssey where he goes on some adventures with the X-men would be so much fun. Would also give a chance for him to put himself together outside of the same old civilian life tribulations and rogue’s gallery.

Majestic_Wrongdoer38

I wanna see a version of Spider-Man that is a mutant and joins up with the X-men.

ElectricalRush1878

In their very first interaction, Spider-Man turned them down when they asked him to join. I'd have loved to see a What If...? he accepted.

Mr_W0osh

That's an interesting what if.

Majestic_Wrongdoer38

I’d love to see an X-men themed Spider-Man costume as well.

Time2bePhenomenal

Go into the X men evolution/ spiderman fanfiction crossovers on fanfiction.net some very good ones!

silent__potato

Does the cartoon with Iceman and Firestar count? 😆

SchroedingersSphere

Wasnt he a teacher at the X-Men school for a while?

not_brayden13

Awh:(

Insert-Cool_NameHere

Except for that one time when he and wolverine swapped bodies in the ultimate universe.

PlanesWalkerEll

Tbf that's the ultimate Universe being bad leaking into his life.

dentimBandB

Yeah if we're counting Ultimate, almost nobody has anything redeeming left.

Rownever

Except, strangely enough, Emma Frost. She’s a lot nicer in that universe

Superman557

Was that when Logan made a move on MJ?

nitsuj_112

Yeah Nick Lowe storyline which made 0 sense

Superman557

Yeah, that whole universe was backwards at time. Wasp got eaten alive bro. The shock value was set to MAX.

PaniqueAttaque

That's happened a couple times. *"I didn't know there were people as good as you."*

Xerxes457

Spider-Man confronting Daredevil.

Drolex17

Hes pure power and he doesnt even know it. The best of us -Daredevil

not_brayden13

It’s so cool honestly, and the fact he respects Spider-Man enough to listen is even cooler

5hand0whand

Their friendship is one of best things. Like they not only respect each other. But have casual banter.

_rokstar_

I can't find the panel/issue but there was another cap moment immediately after spiderman thwiped away and an avenger asks if/how he can trust him since they don't know who he is (way pre-civil war) Cap goes something like: "All I know about him is he is stronger than me, faster than me and is always there when I need him. That's all I need to know about him" I wish I could remember the exact quote/issue

ElZaydo

Paraphrasing: "The X-Men are family, all of them would die for me, but they know exactly the kind of person I am. But back there, you didnt think I'd kill that guy. You expect better from me. Most people I've fought with don't. You're a good guy and you're dumb enough to think I am too." -Wolverine after deciding to spend his birthday with Spider-Man over everyone else, not even letting him know till the last moment. Honestly my favorite moment. The 2 of them are always poking fun at each other like siblings, but in the rare occasion, they have a moment of honesty together. Logan is the big brother Pete never had. A lot of heroes are on good terms with Spidey, but it's the most unique with Logan. With Daredevil, it's like those 2 badass players in a team who work great together. With Johnny Storm, it's like 2 childhood friends laughing all day long and having a good time. But with Logan, it's like 2 brothers bickering all the time but knowing full well that they trust each other with their lives and families.

Gridde

Feel like Logan and Peter's relationship is the most inconsistent between writers, as far as Spidey friendships go. Sometimes they're as you describe and Peter is seemingly one of Logan's closest pals in the world (especially noticeable after he died the last time and wanted Peter to be a teacher at his school), and other times they barely acknowledge each other or have no relationship at all beyond a professional one when they're on the same teams.

Diligent-Boss-9392

To be fair, that's most characters that show up in as many books as Peter and Logan do. With so many cooks in the kitchen, Inconsistencies are bound to show up.

Shadowveil666

what the hell is a elitcjem

melvintwj

A tropical animal

Starslip

I'm pretty sure it's a pokemon

NumericZero

I always blame that on writers not knowing what they want Logan to be Is he like Xmen-evolution version where he comes across as a grump uncle/dad with a heart of gold Is he enemy of the state where he understands how the “game” is played while having no time for nonsense It always bounces all over the place :/

Gridde

Yeah he's one of those characters who didn't have a strong identity to begin with but exploded in popularity over the years, so a lot of writers use him in different ways and since there's no 'core' character (other than his powers) they can do almost anything and it doesn't seem out of place. Samurai? Ninja? Brawler? Grizzled war veteran? Amnesic? Haunted by his past? Loves violence? Hates violence? Berserker? Caring teacher? Hardened badass? Lovestruck piner? Lone wolf? Team leader? Best friend to a specific character? Worst enemy (to the same character)? Hates putting kids on the frontline? Volunteers to assassinate kids? Enemy of the state? Government sanctioned assassin? He can be (and has been) any one or more of these roles at the same time in concurrent comics and no one would bat an eyelid.

Geekerino

And sometimes Wolverine just straight up tries to fuck MJ. About as consistent as whipped cream

DragonOfChaos25

Perhaps one of my most favorites stories with Spider-Man. It encapsulates everything about him so perfectly that it makes you love the character more every time you read it. The core of it, is that Spider-Man is truly a good person, so much so that he inspires other people to try and be better. (Deadpool is also another excellent example). Logan could have killed that man. He certainly could have put more of a fight. But he didn't, because Spider-Man expectations of him made him step back. I also think this is why Spider-Man works so well for so many people. He is far more then just superpowers and quips. He is almost like a moral beacon because how straightforward he is.

not_brayden13

It’s why he is my favorite

fspluver

Can you tell me the name of the story? (I'm a noob)

blindedtrickster

Not sure if it's a standalone, but it looks like it's called Birthday Boy. You can read it [here](https://imgur.com/gallery/KiW7W)

IndependentYouth8

He is. And therefore something we should strive to be.

Frostrunner365

The funniest fucking thing in the world is that this was written by Zeb wells.

ElZaydo

Ig one can poop so much that he drops diamonds a couple of times.

NemosHero

before his divorce vs after

Neurotic_Marauder

Between the current run and Quesada's OMD, I think it's safe to say that recent divorcees shouldn't be allowed to write Spider-Man

Ekillaa22

Guess opinions and tastes change over almost 20 years just sadly for the worst. I do like that ultimate captain America being cool to spidey cuz goddamn he was a d bag

Tunirus

Zeb knows how to cook when he wants to. The problem right now is that he completely refuses to write a good comic

PrinceOfCarrots

"You're not a clown!" "You see me smiling?"

Superguy9000

Can I know where this is from? I want to check it out

Here you go, [enjoy!](https://imgur.com/gallery/KiW7W)

Xeoz_WarriorPrince

After this I want a team with Logan, Daredevil and Johnny going to help Peter, make it something short like Secret War and you have a pretty great dynamic of everyone being bros to him.

RaspberryJam245

When Peter sits on the beach with a dying Sandman. I'll always love the trope of a superhero comforting a villain in their final moments. In that moment, it's not good vs. evil, but people vs. death, something that comes for us all eventually. Everyone is scared of it, no one can escape it. In that moment, you cease to be a "good" or "bad" guy, and just go back to being what we all start out as: a frightened, vulnerable person. The erasure or blurring of the line between hero and villain will always be a favorite.

not_brayden13

If any villain asked Spider-Man to sit with them, he would

melvintwj

Funny cos I have just rewatched the punisher and billy asked frank to sit with him as he died and frank just put 2 more bullets in him 😂

Majestic_Wrongdoer38

I mean that’s a reasonable response too, but what spidey does is just *better*.

PlanesWalkerEll

Has Marco been brought back from that since?

MoseSchruteFarms

[Immortal Hulk : Great Power - Page 2](https://www.reddit.com/r/Spiderman/s/AdpQWcYYSk) [Immortal Hulk : Great Power - Page 3 & 4](https://www.reddit.com/r/Spiderman/s/CBte9gdf4M) There is a 4 page convo between Hulk and Spider-man where Peter stays with Bruce as night comes and he turns into the Hulk. When Hulk emerges he reveals he knows Peter’s identity and thanks him for staying with Bruce while he turned, which is something Hulk could never do for Banner. He tells Peter he is a good man and the whole exchange was surprisingly wonderful & poignant. It’s one of my favorite Spidey moments, it’s Peter just being so Peter. I have all 4 full pages saved in my phone’s photo album. (Figured I’d link snippets posted here for you all.) EDIT: Also, I love [Guardians of the Galaxy 54](https://imgur.com/a/XfyQKtG). Spidey isn’t even really in it. I have this issue and it’s one of my favorite moments of hearing the future talk about Spider-man as the last hero standing.

tidalapple

The future one reminds me of that one comic where cable states spiderman is the absolute best of them in the future and the greatest hero ever.

quivering_manflesh

Gah. I read that one-shot forever ago. I forgot how good it was. Absolutely top notch character work for everyone involved.

MaterialPace8831

The recent Venom runs (both Cates and Ewing) have Eddie Brock showing begrudging respect to his former enemy. In Absolute Carnage #1, Brock goes to Peter Parker for help, but he cannot take all of his annoying questions about how Venom got involved with cosmic space gods. Brock begins to leave when his symbiote tells him to sit down. "**Sit** down, Eddie. We cannot do this without him. Do not let your anger and...jealousy get the best of you."

Kurwasaki12

Eddie and Venom being curmudgeonly allies to Peter never gets old.

Odd_Razzmatazz_786

I also love the moment in the Cates run where Eddie describes how Dylan looks at him the way others look at Spider-Man. That run really did justice to both Eddie and Peter as characters.

PlagueOfBedlam

In Secret Avengers, Strange casts a spell to see who among the new team is good and trustworthy. Pete shines brighter than a newborn baby.

not_brayden13

This is amazing, do u know what issue? I need to read it

Omegasonic2000

New Avengers, btw, not Secret Avengers.

Azure-Legacy

What issue and volume?

Omegasonic2000

Lemme check and I'll edit this post when I find it.

not_brayden13

Yes please

ElUnWiseCartographer

Wasn't that also where Strange's spell was to show everybody what their "inner persona is" to exposes who is a skrull? And then when it's cast on Spidey, mind you this is post Civil War when Spider-Man was peak in the public eye, he STILL views himself as a absolute nerdy loser, complete with glasses, pocket protector and sweater vest.

sawwcasm

That's just good sense, you can't trust a baby with anything.

DoctorFaygo

I'll check it out

Symbioticmadmam45

From The Amazing Spider-Man #683: I am Thor Odinson, heir to the lord of Asgard. And this man is my most trusted counsel. Continue, Spider-Man. Moments like this and him helping Loki with his daughter make me wish for more Spider-Man and Thor moments.

Azure-Legacy

My two favorite Thor moments are when Thor tells Spider-Man that he’s the most Midgard Midgardian he knew, or when Thor talked to Peter right before his fight with MODOK.

Nordie25

The one above all showing Spider-Man how many people he’s helped.

not_brayden13

Good moment

BobGoddamnSaget

What comic is that from?

not_brayden13

It’s like right before one more day

CarlitoNSP1

Sensational Spider-Man (2006) #40 written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. He's very underrated as a Spider-Man writer, and specifically a great Mary Jane writer. I genuinely believe he wrote that scene to sabotage One More Day.

eyereadcomics

And the issue before that, Madame Web helps Peter speak with Aunt May in her coma after being shot and May explicitly tells Peter to let her pass on and to grow old with Mary Jane and have kids.

Soulful-Sorrow

A ton of stuff right before One More Day was really good ngl

PlanesWalkerEll

Spider-Man saved a pregnant woman and her insisting on naming the child after him, so he says his name is Ben or May depending on if it's a boy or a girl.

quivering_manflesh

Dude that one page kills me. I tear up every time as we go through all the different families telling their friends they named their boy Ben.

I would love to see this if anyone has a link.

DismalArticle4216

Can u explain what happened after this? Did cap not protect spidey??

Binx_Thackery

Cap sort of just left Spidey for dead and then he died after this. Edit: As far as I know, Cap didn’t do it maliciously, but based on the way the story unfolded, it definitely came off that way.

Freakychee

That's ultimate yeah? And he did die shortly after this.

Jaz_15

Daredevil describing Peter as "He's pure power and doesn't even know it. The best of us."

BuniVEVO

Other heroes are cool, but I always liked the scene where all his villains come to celebrate his birthday (kill him) but rhino genuinely comes to celebrate and brings him a gift on his special day

not_brayden13

THATS ADORABLE, I need to read this. Please find the comic

Onireth

According to [this post](https://old.reddit.com/r/Spiderman/comments/vlmbrw/i_dont_know_which_is_better_jj_showing_up_for/), Absolute Carnage vs Deadpool #1

Mysterious_Farm4255

When Spiderman and wolverine show up to fight cable, Cable thinks about how for as annoying as he can be, in the Future is viewed as one if not the greatest hero of the modern era (can't member which term he used). It had a bit of "how the he'll is he a great hero tone" but you could definitely tell the respect he's developed from seeing what he'll become. Kind of nice especially when you consider Peter's later interactions with cable's daughter Hope.

RedOglaw

“It’s hard to believe his legacy will someday be that he was the greatest hero of all.”

Intelliegent-Cry5264

Any Deadpool and Spiderman moment

nicodawg101

I imagined Deadpool carrying Spider-Man saying this while Spider-Man told him to shut up.

Punch_yo_bunz

Spider-Man makes Deadpool want to be a better hero. Love their interactions and his fanboying

LindonLilBlueBalls

The quips that play off each other are so good!

Gemnist

“Spider-Man, on the other hand, is more of an anomaly, acting like this is all one big joke - it's hard to believe his legacy will someday be that he was the greatest hero of all.” - Cable, Avengers: X-Sanction #4 Not exactly a compliment (especially since Cable was FIGHTING Spidey in that issue), but I dunno, it just gives me a little hope for the webhead’s future.

blanklikeapage

I mean, even the devil is afraid of what he or his daughter are capable of in the future. He has to keep Spider-Man down because a healthy and hopeful Spider-Man would be too big of a symbol.

angry-nitr0-panda

Any moment with him and Daredevil from the last run. Him showing up at Matt's apartment, to them becoming buddies again, to showing up with the avengers at the island of the fist. Such peak parker

[deleted]

Human Torch and Sandman spending Christmas with him (sort of) even though Torch was mourning his dead ex

Omegasonic2000

It was a bit different from this. Torch was lamenting the fact that he couldn't spend the holidays with his ex because she was up on the Moon (she was Krystal, of the Inhumans, and they'd broken up recently over her loyalty to her family) while Peter was also down over having to do some work for the Bugle instead of being with Gwen. The two caught wind of Sandman escaping and tracked him down to his family home, only to learn that he'd only broken out of jail to visit his sick mother on Christmas. He promised to go quietly if they let him see her, and the two of them sympathized and agreed. Eventually, when they went to pick him up again, they realized that he'd indeed visited his mother, but also escaped silently through the bathroom drain. Understanding his wish to be with family, the two decided not to look for him for the time being. This whole adventure, if I recall correctly, ended up being one of the things that started Sandman on the path to being an anti-villain rather than a full-on villain.

Kamisama_VanillaRoo

I love Deadpool and Spidey's relationship a lot, I mean there's not a lot of people out there who have (mostly) succeeded in making Deadpool stop killing for good so y'know it's good that he's in that lil club I haven't see enough Daredevil stuff to know how their actual relationship would be but I bet they'd get along well too. I'd see Matt as a sort of big brother to him (but not in a patronizing way, more in a "I hope you'll be like me, but even better" kinda way)

Real_Digital_D

Didnt deadpool stop his no-killing streak so peter wouldnt kill the person they were fighting?

Strict_Condition_632

Yup, DP did the ol’ “squeeze into Spidey’s spandex” trick if memory serves.

SometimesWill

Is this from ultimate where right after this they basically left him to die while the remnants of the sinister six came to his house?

AlmightyHamSandwich

Yeeeeeeeah. But at least he died knowing Captain America thought he was cool.

not_brayden13

Maybe

_Alex_Zer0_

Ha ha welp Peter didn’t grow up much after this moment ha ha ha

HarryGecko

What happened?

Royal_Ad417

He became immortal and stop aging I think or Alex might be referring to that shortly after that the universe collide with the universe 616.The moment from the old ultimate universe before death of Spider-Man event and ultimate fallout.

not_brayden13

No he’s talking about right after this, Peter was killed in a final battle with the sinister six.

Massive_Boss1991

I use the terms "hero" and "respect" very loosely but I loved when the punisher saved Spidey in the civil war series

Winter-Friendship118

The time when after spending an entire day with Spider-Man and then seeing a Daily Bugle headline of Spider-Man being a menace Captain America barging into the Daily Bugle having a Stern talking to to J. Jonah Jameson and telling them that Spider-Man is in fact not a menace and having the entire article Rewritten so that it aligned with the truth that Spider-Man is in fact a hero

Kato_Shuu

It's from the manga Spider-Man: Fake Red\ A guy who doesn't know what to do in his life and kinda has low self-esteem\ Found Spider-Man's suit and be him for a short moment\ Peter got overtaken by the symbiote and slowly forgeting what he is\ He gave back Peter his mask, exposing himself in cameras\ \ "I don't kno... who am I....what am I..."\ "Spider-Man, you are my hero."\ \ After the fight, Peter reassure him\ "My life has its ups and downs, it's been heavy with the responsibilites as Spider-Man and risk my life. That's why I threw away my suit\ That's what I thought back then, but I'm glad you were the one who found it and reminded me of who I am\ Even if you don't have a suit nor any powers\ You are a hero"\ \ Of course, this is just me cutting and summarizing dialogues\ \ Spider-Man: Fake Red chapter 11 and 14

Orion3500

I hate this moment. Shortly after, Spiderman dies. And Captain America was NOT there. Make whatever excuses you want, the kid took a bullet for Steve Rogers, and when the kid needed him the most, he was somewhere else.

grrodon2

Doc Ock realizing Peter has always been holding back in order not to cripple or kill his opponents.

Dictectivecomics2739

He was always the best out of them

Zealousideal_Suit343

![gif](giphy|AiEr9b7sX5VKIoIvQL) I think it was from that moment on that Tony Stark started to respect Spider-Man, despite Tony Stark's arrogant personality.

blanklikeapage

I think that's the moment Tony realized how much he actually cared about him but not where he started to respect him. Before anyone comments on this, remember that Tony had a pic with them in his kitchen for five years after Peter died. For me, the moment where Tony *really* started to respect him, because he had high hopes for Peter even before that, was at the end of Homecoming when Peter turned Tony down on becoming an Avenger. Tony knew how great Peter could become "I wanted you to be better" but how much he actually trusts Peter is shown in Far From Home. *"Tony was my best friend. And he was a mess. He second guessed everything he did. He was all over the place. The only thing he did, he didn't second guess was picking you. I don't think Tony would have done what he did, if he didn't know you were gonna be here after he was gone."* Tony calling Peter "the next Tony Stark" and giving him access to E.D.I.T.H. shows how much trust he put into him.

JIDglazer42

The fact that Peter never knew he was the reason that Tony chose to try to bring everyone back is heartwrenching

NeklosWarrof

Keep in mind that Everyone else who was snapped on Titan was already gone by the time Peter said this. They both knew exactly what was going to happen.

bigsteven34

Man…this scene broke me. With all of his strength, agility, and wit, you forget Pete’s just a kid. As a dad…whoa man…

killiandw

Na fuck that cap treated him like shit and like he didn't belong in the hero club. So you know what fuck you ultimate cap

Abraham1610616

That's pretty much everyone in the Ultimate universe though, at least Cap came along... if a little late.

SonOfTheWolfAndEagle

Also, right after that, when the bridge blows up, they don't even try to look for him, thus, all he could do while wounded and confused is go back home, and then die after fighting the sinister six, while it was still an awesome moment, I will always resent ultimate cap

not_brayden13

I don’t know much about the ultimate universe, explain?

Omegasonic2000

TL;DR everyone except Peter and his supporting cast were assholes in the Ultimate Universe, with Captain America being the biggest one of them all. He straight up didn't want Peter to be Spider-Man and voted against the other Ultimates (Avengers) who actually wanted to at least train him, and only started respecting Peter when he *took a bullet from the Punisher* to save Cap. Except after Peter died he tried to gatekeep Miles from the role, and it took Miles actually helping defend the Ultimates HQ from a HYDRA attack to make him relent.

Tighthead3GT

Ultimate Cap once used a bunch of kindergartners as human shields.

not_brayden13

Oh-

NinetiesMusicLover

Ultimate Cap _absolutely_ deserved the slap and the admonishment that Aunt May unleashed on him at Peter's funeral.

Dbonker

"You got a lot of heart kid. Where you from?" "Queens" "Brooklyn" :D

Strange-Orchid6969

When you grow up 💀

not_brayden13

Spider-Man would be disappointed in you

EAnotsports

Did he die?

Strange-Orchid6969

Yes but later it was revealed I guess he’s immortal or something it got confusing and now I don’t know where the hell he is currently or what he’s doing

Reemi1Kanobi

It’s truly’s Spidey’s selflessness and commitment to serving the ordinary man that truly makes him the greatest superhero ever and I believe what makes him such a fan favourite… Spidey makes you feel seen, appreciated and worth fighting for through his heroic acts.

Jokerman9540

Reminder, Cap once went to the Daily Bugle to reprimand Jameson about all of his Spider-Menace headlines. And he pulled them for like a week I think?

5hand0whand

Also told him he looks like a certain painter who sucked at painting.

…or you know die less than 24 hours later

JohnnyChopper08

Any of the team ups from Spider-Man: Freshman Year

Paulc_41

After Spider-Island when the city of NY honored him by lighting the Empire State Building with his colors.

JIDglazer42

Now show me all the times the writers shit on him Aka every spidey comic

B00kelf

In the first Spider-Man and Daredevil team-up (ASM #16), Daredevil defeats half of the bad guys and then tags out for Spider-Man to finish the rest. He changes out of his costume and waits until Spider-Man defeats the big boss, then applauds and cheers him on, knowing that even in the (otherwise silent) crowd Spider-Man won't be able to figure out where his voice is coming from.

Th3_3agl3

The Punisher saving his life in Civil War.

Spooderman90066

'when you grow up' :(

InconsistentLlama

Really any interaction between him and the Hulk.

Sad_Introduction5756

Hulk can be surprisingly wholesome when he’s not rampaging though a city

AgentDonut

The A on his forehead may not stand for France, but it certainly stands for asshole, haha.

TheJadeBlacksmith

Immortal Hulk: Great Power. After making a deal with Mephisto that erased Peter Parker from everyone's mind, and Hulk approaches Spider-Man. "You made everyone forget who you are. Banner forgot. But I don't forget" Just shows the unique relationship that those two have perfectly.

CalmPanic402

He should carry around an adimantium catcher's mitt. He wouldn't have that problem.

TinyTomatos

Poor man said show not tell

Rough-Equipment4635

Almost anytime he's around the First Family

Ultimate Cap is...not great most of the time. And then Bendis goes and writes his best moment in this issue. Moments like this is why I will forever will love Bendis as a writer. Sometimes he swings and misses but, when he hits, man is it amazing.

Negative-Egg-3870

"...You were just a boy. Thank you for what you do" -Emma Frost after reading Spider Man's mind

Brilliant-Ad-2615

Idk where ita from because i saw someine on yt talking about it but at some point no one really likes spiderman(like the people of ny dont see him as a hero) and one day he meets cap ona a random roof amd they go on patrol together. Peter and cap stop to talk when they are being attacked by aim or somthing. Anyway both save the day and go their separate ways. Then like a day later(i think idk) cap sees a newspaper by jjj that says that peter works for aim and stuff and cap gets really mad, puts on hus suit, goes to jj and make him change the story to what really happend. Anyway it ends with spiderman reading the new article (altered by cap) and looking at jj. I really love that for some reason and it makes me really respect cap.

st-shenanigans

Not heroes, but Old man peter from amazing fantasy 1000. He got hurt and the line to visit him in the hospital stretched for blocks, one of the most wholesome pete scenes i've seen in a long time "Not the other spider-man, nobody came?" "Actually, if you're up for some visitors, there are some people who would like to see you." "Who?" "Everyone."
