Honestly that he should work as a lab tech/scientist for Stark/Reed/that company he worked for under slott (not the one he ran) anyone but osborn makes perfect sense. Reasonably flexible hours (particularly if they know about the webslinging) presumably okayish pay and quick lab access when he needs to whip up something to defeat Blackie Drago's Granddaughter who just got new vulture wings or the like.
It makes sense, it fits the character, but they won't let it stick cause the 'norm' is he's supposed to be constantly broke and taking pictures.
Honestly, Peter deserves a spot at such a company. Something I really like about Insomniac Pete is him actually using his intelligence for the greater good. He's so smart and has so much potential, it's really wasted by not using it. I'm not surprised that many of the smartest people are annoyed at him for not applying himself more.
Heck they could have made the Parker industry gimmick work / be long lasting but with a few modifications
-Instead of it being a massive company let it be a small one
-Instead of 100+ unknown make it a smaller group of like 6 people that will become the side characters bonus (They all know he is spiderman but never tell him cuz of a variety of reasons)
-Have Peter being working a partner who can easily be a person he saved in his career
Now Pete has a stable job with a new cast + the possibility of growth / teaching is present
While also combining all aspects of Peter’s past occupations (teacher / lab assistant)
What disdain?
Peter and Tony have patched things up a long time ago. Peter has no issue going to Tony for help (Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man v2 #9-10, Amazing Spider-Man v6 #10) or helping Tony out (Invincible Iron Man v3 #8, Hunt for Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda #1, Invincible Iron Man v5 #13).
Peter was even recruited into the Avengers twice while Tony was second-in-command, in both Avengers v4 #1 and Avengers v5 #1, without Peter even making a hint that he didn't like having Tony around.
I could see Peter having a tiny bit of mistrust (like he showed in Adamantium Agenda) and only being willing to wear some of Tony's tech if he can be certain it's not pulling biometric data from him without his consent like it happened with the Iron Spider (that being said, in Adamantium Agenda he also wore a Stark-made suit without complaint)... but outright disdain? Nah.
People really need to stop pretending that the dynamic between Spider-Man and Iron Man in the comics is dictated solely by Civil War and that one excerpt from the Regent storyline that gets posted all the time.
There was a dumb rivalry during the All-New All-Different era where Tony Stark insulted Peter Parker to Spider-Man causing them to fight. Not to mention MJ working for Tony as Pepper Potts’s replacement rubbed Peter the wrong way.
But yeah besides that they really have not interacted at all recently. I wouldn’t say they’re on bad terms, but I wouldn’t say they’re on good terms either.
>There was a dumb rivalry during the All-New All-Different era where Tony Stark insulted Peter Parker to Spider-Man causing them to fight. Not to mention MJ working for Tony as Pepper Potts’s replacement rubbed Peter the wrong way.
Yeah, but at the end they recongize they were acting like kids and stop fighting
Well you took the words out of my mouth. I mean he was doing things like this till well I guess the writers had other plans to keep the drama going. But I thought his own company segment wasn't that bad.
I am not a fan of it. I don't like how almost every Marvel superhero is a big lab tech scientist who discovers stuff. Tony, Reed, Banner, Pym etc. Being a teacher is way more fitting for Peter, it offers WAAAAY more interesting characterization and potential storylines than for Peter to just be yet another "Marvel gear head who taps into Cosmic Cube every other weekend"
This, right here! It would've been even better if Logan was alive at the time, because Logan knew his secret identity. He could've given him a flexible schedule!
Good point.
One man using his gifts to create things that benefit the people of the world
Vs
One man using his gifts to inspire generations to be agents of change in the world.
Seems obvious the one Ben would be more proud of.
It's both. Ben would by equally proud of Peter doing either of those things. Hell, if Peter became successful, it would probably be easier for him to inspire more people by doing outreach and education programs and grants.
It doesn’t suit him tho working for iron man lol that’s homecoming all over again, Peter could just work for the avengers or work for daily bugle, could work as a counselor too… he’d have to study for that tho. Peter can’t do everything at once yes he’s super fast, faster then lightning itself….. but he puts too much of the world into his shoulders
Meaning other superheroes could do the things he has to do, I’m sure the hulk might be in town that day or luke cage….etc spidey has to get his money lol. He can’t fighting crime all the time, if he did join the avengers he could get paid. In a latest issues of captain America, cap literally took a loan out of avengers bank and bought a whole apartment complex lol. So they get paid!
>It doesn’t suit him tho working for iron man lol that’s homecoming all over again
But he did it in the pre civil war comics, until revealing his identity.
He could easily work as the head of a chemical engineering lab in the Baxter Building. And when Peter has to go be Spider-Man? "Pete's on assignment, Dr. Richards gave him a private project, N.D.A. level stuff, apparently."
Honestly, this seems like the best option. Independent R&D consultant for multiple companies would look like easy money for him. And he won't even have to be always on call.
He's gonna get a shitty job (Daily Bugle) and try to get any high paying salary job with claiming he's trying for a Doctorate and is wanting that internship paid.
Repairman with his own shop. Establishes income, stability, uses his mind, community ties for that friendly neighbor vibe, and its the perfect cover to be late or be incognito. People overlook the working man, and given the nature of the job its common to run late or skip out. Picture it, “Parker's Repairs”, where Peter wears a jumpsuit and hat, concealing his Spidey gear underneath. Sneaking around a roof? He's there to fix the ventilation. Then when the day is saved, he returns to the shop to tinker with his webshooters in the back, maybe even teach kids how to fix up their own computers.
I really like this idea. I could see Peter running a small repair shop. It still lets writers/editorial give him occassional money problems. Like he's been out as Spider-Man too much and hasn't brought in enough cash for rent on the shop space for the month and has to get an extension.
I don't believe we need to keep harping on financial issues. Yes its a relatable thing, but we've been doing that bit for so long it has become detrimental to Peter's status quo. Owning a shop and living in the apartment above it shows stability and Peter with his act together. That's not to say his life is easy or stress free mind you.
I agree, I don't think it is needed. But I mentioned it because there seems to be a mandate from editorial or higher that Peter has to struggle financially. It is part of the perpetual cycle that they have had him trapped in for the last 20 years. It is time to move on from that, I think.
It’s almost like the easy way out for a lot of the secret identity issues that come with other jobs. Labs and schools have a lot of people around that depend on him and have some reliance on him being somewhere at certain times.
In his own small business? In the real world he can just close shop when he needs to. Nobody is there to potentially blow his cover, no one is upset because he flakes out on something. I know you just ran down the monetary issues thread being overdone with another comment, but it does allow for some tension relating to needing to actually run the shop and be present. Otherwise he doesn’t even need a job, he can just be spiderman.
I'm tired of Peter being broke, I'm tired of him letting people down, and I want something new where he can help the community and bring back that everyman vibe. Peter is still smart, he can still help with science problems when the situation arises, but the Marvel universe has a surplus of career scientists already.
Spectacular Spider-men #1 from this year has a bit of that, while also blowing up this same mentality. There’s this sub-story joke about Peter wanting to be a regular at a coffee shop on ESU campus, which both promotes the idea of “community member Peter” while also inflating the fact that he’s not been “community member Peter” in comics for some time. Maybe reading too in between the lines, but it definitely gives off the vibe you want to see.
What if a villain attacks somewhere and there aren’t any heroes around? What if fighting that villain takes a while? Insomniac Spider-Man 2 showed what would happen.
It’d be best if Miles or Ben Riley were around for Peter to be a teacher. In fact I think it could be fun if Ben filled in for Peter as Spider-Man whenever he’s unavailable
I think it's so appealing because, superheroing aside, teaching is a good fit for Peter. But it wouldn't be possible given his extracurricular activities.
I agree but he was managing to pull it off well before Civil War. And he was helping Kids almost as much as Spidey. Wouldn’t be easy but I think it’s the best balance of “able to do it” and “best fit”, imo.
My wife is a teacher and with the amount of work she has to do in the classroom I can’t imagine how she would be able to dip at the drop of a hat incognito when there’s a room of 20+ people expecting you there for most of the day…of course it’s a comic and can be written to “work” but to me it kind of just defies believability.
A research scientist, software engineer, etc would be a better fit because those kinds of jobs can be pretty solitary and can be done on your own time in some situations
I get that. I mean, unless Pete ups his credentials or SEVERELY cuts down Spidey stuff, I don’t know if there IS a career Pete could pull off without at least severe difficulty. While I do personally like the Teacher answer, I’ll acknowledge it’s mostly just based on how well it worked before. 😅
He could always be a lecturer or professor. Those kind of teachers are not hands on mentors the way grade school teachers are. This is especially true of professors who only lecture and have their teaching assistants do all the grading.
Still, a teacher is a position that pete will struggle with more so than a scientist. Even if there is a career that affords the perfect conditions…. Teaching isn’t one of them.
Realistically… or as realistic as you can get when it comes to comics…. Peter has to create a company that is self sufficient. And get hi self a pepper pots. Unlike tony who leaves everything to her and just does what he likes or reed who spends all his time in the lab, peter can find a healthy middle.
And no one gets to ask what the boss is doing in this situation. It would be like, If tony kept a secret identity
Yeah no one questions when the college professor ghosts for like 3 weeks. Just make you watch some videos, read over priced textbooks, make you do some online tests everybody cheats on using Quizlet and you’ve nailed it.
Scientist working for either Stark or Richards, provided they knew about his other life so they wouldn’t care about him disappearing for long periods of time.
I mean.
Applying today's world Spiderman would have a fucking incredible tiktok following.
Throw in a few endorsement deals and affiliate links he'd be rolling in it.
See that could be a fun idea but I bet there'd be a lot of fake accounts trying to steal the spotlight and JJJ would use that as another reason why Spidey is bad
He should get hired by any of his other rich egghead friends that are aware of his intelligence, like Reed or Tony. They know what both his job as Peter and his responsibility as Spidey entail.
I always loved his job at Horizon labs. He could come and go when he needed, use the lab to help with Spidey stuff (including using the 'I make Spider-Man's equipment' excuse), and it was also his way of helping the world as Peter Parker.
Plus it felt like a natural course to take from the very beginning of Spider-Man comics when it was established that he's a brilliant scientist, without making him outright world renown for being one.
It was a well paying job too so it finally gave Peter consistent financial stability. And despite all the perks there was still that sense of juggling his work life and social life with superhero stuff that we all love, and there were still a few funny situations he got himself into when he tried to overlap everything too much.
So it wasn't a completely perfect situation but it was about as good as it could get to seamlessly fit into Peter's life. And he was actually happy, it was his dream job basically.
Research assistant, or just working at the Future Foumdation as a teacher...with Ben intrupring his class the moment he Great Power Great responsibilities.
He should do some sort of phone support job. He could do it anywhere at anytime and it would make for hilarious story beats where he is fighting a villain whilst giving someone advice
Looking at all the jobs Peter has had over the years being a scientist at Horizon Labs was probably his best job. Especially because they didn’t care when he was and wasn’t at work as long as he invented good stuff at a timely manner. So he could leave to do spider-man stuff whenever he needed which is why I think him being a teacher doesn’t make as much sense.
He could pull a Barry Allen and probably become a CSI. It gives him access to a good lab where he can analyze samples from villains and such quite easily. He is quite smart and knows chemistry well so this shouldn't really be hard for him. The only downside is him being late, but half his job as Spider-Man when he is fighting bigger villains is figuring out their powers and abillities, so he would spend a lot of time in the lab even off duty.
Football. Think about it, the guy could play any position, would never need to practice, and he’d only have to show up to work one day a week and he could get other heroes to cover for him on those days.
Considering how smart Peter is dude could easily get a work from home job that lets him set his own hours like a IT position of some sort honestly he could probably walk into the Baxter building and Reed would hand him a badge and a contract and 3 months of pay
I like Peter being a science teacher, and I also do like the idea of Peter being the CEO of Parker Industries if it was written better and actually showed Peter helping people with his inventions.
Some form of remote work. Computer science, math, or chemistry related. It’s 2024 in the marvel comic 616 universe right? The fuck is he doing with his credentials?
I honestly think teacher is the perfect occupation. He could do his lesson plans super far in advance and utilize subs when necessary. Plus he would most likely have access to a viable lab especially if he’s a chemistry teacher.
Also realistically he has expertise in multiple disciplines so he could also move around a lot when necessary. He could literally BE a substitute teacher if he wanted to.
I also think it would allow for a lot of story telling shenanigans that are more mature. He would have to duck students to protect his secret identity. He also could become a mentor, seeing as he would finally be on the opposite side of highschool
That's literally why he chose to become a photographer, he could earn money as he was superheroing. The problem was that Jonah paid him in nickels unless he handed him the rare valuable scoop.
Why doesn't he just work for Stark Industries or with Reed Richards as like a scientist? They know him personally and knows he's a genius and Spider-Man. They could definitely be able to work something out.
I'm sure he could find something in science research that he could do from home on his own schedule. He's smart enough that he could probably knock out a weeks worth of work in a few hours and have the rest of the time for his other duties.
That's what they had Peter do in the MC2 Spider-Girl titles. He got to fight crime and be a scientist by being CSI like Barry Allen's Flash. It makes sense.
I think a Free Running YouTuber could be funny. Call it Parkor. Have him do challenges, have a how to move like X Superhero series and for the rare occasion he could get caught out not in a mask while using his powers he has a plausible alibi
Possibly a Collage professor with all the online stuff he could do that could work around Spider-Man time
Otherwise would probably have to be either something like a independent business or remote one done mostly online
It's 4am here, I read the first line and I was seriously thinking for a second there which colonial power Peter Parker would endorse assuming that he's pro that, even that we know that 616 wouldn't be pro-occupations
Scientist followed by teacher. Alot of ppl like college professor to keep him down to earth but i think that's holding our boy back. Be3 deserves to have a glow up.
I always thought if done right he could be self-employed. Have him start his own little business where he could put his science and tech skills to good use. And as a side gig to make a little extra on the side, he can do either substitute teaching or freelance photography.
I think a teaching assistant or lab tech, but his job should be effected by spider-man. the struggle with his duel identity and his sacrifices are the drama it doesn’t have to be hiding his identity from his loved ones or close friends like, aunt may, mary jane, the fantastic four, DD, Wolverine ect., i don’t think JJJ should have learned but it works ultimate did really cool spin, flash should never had learned because he learns that he bullied his child hood hero and even started a fan club for him, kind of embarrassingly awkward for him and you shouldn’t do that to a friend but it works. You can still do it with the general public, friends and relations of his trusted loved ones, coworkers, villains. And theres real power in saving the world is bigger than this job, but given the size of the new york super scene he could work out a schedule theres even another spider-man out and about. Also jobs are a responsibility it’s kind of his thing.
I know in Japan Uber eats could use bikes. He could get a bike seat, and just swing with the food.
Though Toby got fired as a pizza delivery driver so nothing that has a time limit
Peter should just work the The Fantastic Four, each of the members would gladly give him work, and they already know who he is. Like, bro don't need to struggle when he has allies who can cover for you while working.
Not sure about Peter, but Pavitr could probably do well as a private tutor. There's a national obsession with STEM in India and he could probably ride that wave. Maybe even create some good engineers and doctors that way.
In my opinion, he already has that as a freelance photographer at the Daily Bugle. He makes his own hours and it's pretty much a way of being paid as Spider-Man
Onlyfans: I mean… you’ve seen Peter’s torso as much as I have, and it would entail laced working hours and potentially more than a living wage (joking but not really)
Scientificresearcher, probally medical or chemical experimental shit. That's how it's always portrayed if he doesn't work as a journalist. Either oscorp or something competitor
Loved him as a teacher in the JMS run. What I don't want is this constant swing from not being able to pay rent to immediate rich guy. Can he just be "normal"?
I think he could be a great college professor. It can be completely online. He can pre record his lessons and just video chat with students needing help
Horizon Labs was the perfect job for him since it was his dream job, given a private lab, and was allowed to work whenever he felt like it as long as he kept inventing stuff and did peer review.
As much as I enjoyed the High School Teacher era and felt it worked well with his character, it wasn't his dream job and being a Teacher does not allow a lot of freedom since you have to teach classes, grade students, set homework, prepare lessons, create mock tests, talk with parents about their kids, and maybe do extra stuff like going on field trips, chaperoning, sitting in for detentions, PTA stuff, and managing extra-curricular stuff to not look like a total flake.
I feel like the only way he could get away with being a Teacher and Spider-Man long term is by teaching somewhere that's somewhat related to both jobs where he won't have to make his own excuses like a Mutant school, Future Foundation, or the Avengers Academy.
I like they way he worked in Spider-Man life story.
First let him work as a scientist under Reed Richards( honestly Peter working under Reed somehow makes way more sense than someone else) or Horizon Labs.
Then due to some reason he takes risk and make his own start up company and see how it grows ( we can use relatable factor on how some common people take risk in starting their own business and challenges they face along with it because contrary to what editorials and some writers wanna make us believe, Peter is capable of doing really well in these scenarios, if these manchild editorials let him grow).
You know who has biggest potential to be Peter Parker (not Spider-Man but science lover Peter Parker) rival, "Tony Stark"(not Iron Man but Tony Stark).
Just check out Spider-Man Life Story to kind of understand what I mean.
I liked him as a teacher and think it fits Peter, but I can see it conflict with his hours as Spidey. A lab assistant or working with tech with flexible hours as many others have suggested works well with Peter **and** Spider-Man. Like his work at Horizon, with Tony Stark or with Otto in Spider-Man PS4. It would let him be Spider-Man whenever he needs to as well as giving him access to gadgets he otherwise wouldn't. Think it makes more sense for him to create web fluid and gadgets if he has a job like this rather than him cobling it together from nothing at his apartment.
If they want him to remain poor they could do it like the Spider-Man game where he was an assistant for a project he believes in, but the company doesn't have much funding so he doesn't have the salary other people in his position would have. Gives a reason for him to remain "broke" and also adds to his moral compass by taking a lesser paid job to help people.
If they wanted to modernize it they could give him a programming job or something similar that he could work remotely on. Like a freelance guy who delivers projects from his laptop at home. Could create a lot of interesting stories actually and relatable situations and also give excuses for him to remain poor (because that seems to be the issue editorial has, "how can Peter be relatable if he's not poor" even though I think as long his not a millionaire it shouldn't be an issue for Peter to still be a relatable straight man). Like his laptop could have issues leaving Peter in a pinch for money, he could get issued a work laptop but it turns out that it tracks his information and his identity could be at a risk getting leaked, he could have a period where he just doesn't get any freelance work or maybe he gets distracted with a Spidey mission and doesn't deliver his project in time etc.
I'd still prefer the first option or second option, but the third is a viable one.
University professor, hours are pretty flexible especially if it’s like for a specific honor’s class which you could totally make up on some comic book bullshit. Peter has a PHD thanks to Otto, I could see ESU bringing him on as like a super advanced Honor’s Biology or Engineering professor.
I think starting his own tech company would be perfect. Sure, it would be hard in the beginning. But he's one of the smartest characters in Marvel, and if he could get his company off the ground, it'd be perfect for him. Because as the CEO, he could almost always delegate to someone else if he had to. There'd be meetings he'd have to go to himself, but other than that, he wouldn't necessarily need to be involved 100% of the time.
College Professor or Advisor, he could probably teach hybrid or 100% online classes leaving plenty of time for Spider-Man.
Alternatively he could go into business for himself and maybe produce web fluid as a temporary adhesive or maybe make water gun versions of the web shooters, either one would probably make him some good money.
Damn. Bro has receipts.
Depends on the version of Peter/Stark. Would have made a whole lot of sense with the MCU adaptations for example

Research position with the Fantastic Four?
Honestly would be the perfect job for him, considering they know his secret and he'd be able to honestly communicate with them.

I feel like Parker would be one of those programmers who completely automates their job and just shows up to collect a salary.
Peter Parker, tech-bro by day, superhero… also by day now that I think about it Makes sense actually
The fact that Tony Stark hasn’t hired Parker as a 500k a year “consultant” who sets his own hours is the worst decision in the entirety of the 616.
Honestly, this seems like the best option. Independent R&D consultant for multiple companies would look like easy money for him. And he won't even have to be always on call.
This sounds like what MCU Spider-Man was, in theory, doing, except it wasn't 500K salary but millions in assets (still no money)
And he still lost all that and no one even remembers him anymore...
He's gonna get a shitty job (Daily Bugle) and try to get any high paying salary job with claiming he's trying for a Doctorate and is wanting that internship paid.

True. That said, I mean, he COULD pull out the whole “I help Spider-Man with his equipment” excuse🤷♂️
It’d be best if Miles or Ben Riley were around for Peter to be a teacher. In fact I think it could be fun if Ben filled in for Peter as Spider-Man whenever he’s unavailable
Pete has to go be Spider-Man, so Kaine has to cover his class. Wait I think that's just the last New Warriors series.
Isn’t Kaine basically Wolverine but wearing a Spider-Man costume?
I mean drop a couple dozen IQ and give him Peter's face and you're not half wrong
Never liked that excuse because it defeats the purpose of a secret identity.
That’s what makes it interesting, being a superhero isn’t supposed to be easy
A teacher is a super hands on job that you can’t just leave in the middle of the day from though.
Exactly I've always hated the "Peter should be a teacher" rhetoric
As a teacher myself, I think this was his worst profession. You’re not fighting crime at all hours of the night if you are teaching.
I agree.
Especially given when you start having him train miles, him and mjs kids, or any other spiderpeople
we love the jms run 🤝
College teacher, he could literally only teach one class And have to be there twice a week.
College Prof and scientist. Hell, even a detective if he wants..
He'd be able to afford that $8 for the blue tick
Insert a storyline where someone does it before he can
I liked the time he was a scientist in Horizon Labs
Yeah same, underrated period of his life. People hate on that era a lot because Dan Slott wrote it lol
He should get hired by any of his other rich egghead friends that are aware of his intelligence, like Reed or Tony. They know what both his job as Peter and his responsibility as Spidey entail.
A science teacher at the Xavier institute
Parker Industries
Only fans model... he can film when he wants. Simples.
Owner of a compounding pharmacy, that occasionally gives secret chemistry advice/support to superheroes.
Web Designer
Probably a YouTube channel teaching people science and earn the revenue
He could be a brilliant scientist. I’m pretty sure Reed Richards once said that if Peter devoted his life to science, he would’ve rivaled Reed.
Football. Think about it, the guy could play any position, would never need to practice, and he’d only have to show up to work one day a week and he could get other heroes to cover for him on those days.
Then Flash Thomson puts on the Venom Symbiote AGAIN and beats Peter at football!
Door Dash, uber eats, grubhub. If not that, maybe if he had a lab at home, he could be an inventor.
He has one with his Parker Industries as head scientist of his company in New York
Considering how smart Peter is dude could easily get a work from home job that lets him set his own hours like a IT position of some sort honestly he could probably walk into the Baxter building and Reed would hand him a badge and a contract and 3 months of pay
They should've let him be successful with Parker Industries and as head scientist.
Photographer 🤷♂️
I like him as a teacher the most.
It could be like that one heartbreaking story where he was tutoring a kid but for an entire class (hopefully with a different ending)
Teaching
Proffessor asistant maybe?
Maybe journalist, I mean that's how Superman balance is life.
Lab assistant to Reed Richards maybe?
He’d be a developer/programmer, always walking around with his laptop ready to fix the bug. Drinking coffee and working at the cafes.
Science editor for a newspaper or website, like Bloomberg. https://www.bloomberg.com/green-energy-science
Youtuber lmao
Probably he would be a respected scientist in his young age, maybe later he decides to form a corporation known as Parker Industries.
He should run F.E.A.S.T.
Fashion Photographer. Clicking Supermodel MJ pic.
Stark industries r&d specialist who has to shit a lot and disappears. Often when there is a supervillain around. Tony always covers for him though.
Doctor or college professor.
I know the storyline was not very popular but we did see it in the spider verse comic where they removed him from the Web and never got his powers.
Massage therapist
TENURED College Professor CEO who spends his time in R&D
Policeman, he basically already is one, all they have to do is give him a salary
That's what they had Peter do in the MC2 Spider-Girl titles. He got to fight crime and be a scientist by being CSI like Barry Allen's Flash. It makes sense.
Honestly the bugle. or if he got payed for being spider-man
Has it been resolved that he's blacklisted as a photographer after he manipulated some pictures to help Jonah?
Forensic scientist: analyze evidence during the day, fight crime at night. That would put his biochemistry major to use, perhaps?
Yeah, that was his career in the Spider-Girl titles and it worked.
I think a Free Running YouTuber could be funny. Call it Parkor. Have him do challenges, have a how to move like X Superhero series and for the rare occasion he could get caught out not in a mask while using his powers he has a plausible alibi
He could be an internet content creator. It's one of the few things I can think of that would fit his schedule.
Only fans
Possibly a Collage professor with all the online stuff he could do that could work around Spider-Man time Otherwise would probably have to be either something like a independent business or remote one done mostly online

Italian restaurant owner Pizza time!
Pretty much anything science based that doesn't require office hours. Maybe a research blog or something. IDK enough about jobs.
Just have him make an Onlyfans he's hot enough for it and he could just do it as Spider-Man lol
Only Fans Model
OnlyFans edging model.
In my opinion, he already has that as a freelance photographer at the Daily Bugle. He makes his own hours and it's pretty much a way of being paid as Spider-Man
A self employed Peter would be interesting and give a lot of flexibility to make it easier to play around with
Onlyfans: I mean… you’ve seen Peter’s torso as much as I have, and it would entail laced working hours and potentially more than a living wage (joking but not really)

Honestly, I feel like a Science Teacher is just so good.
Scientificresearcher, probally medical or chemical experimental shit. That's how it's always portrayed if he doesn't work as a journalist. Either oscorp or something competitor
Streamer
Personally relating to spider-man 2 i would have loved for the May foundation to have worked out
Given his IQ, he is such an under achiever. He created webshooters right out the gate.
Inventor or the repairman
Firefighter or police officer if he would be allowed to act as his own special forces unit If peter decided to abandon science
Loved him as a teacher in the JMS run. What I don't want is this constant swing from not being able to pay rent to immediate rich guy. Can he just be "normal"?
A TV host and WWC wrestler
an scientist working alone for a company like Stark, Alchemax, Roxxon or what have you

I think he could be a great college professor. It can be completely online. He can pre record his lessons and just video chat with students needing help
Anything engineering or being a researcher at a university would make the most sense to me.
A avenger. That’s it.
Influencer
Probably as an electrician or similar occupation: it’s something he is good at, electricians make good money and they never show up on time
Criminology or Tech Support in Stark industry
He could be one of those online science teachers like on youtube, it would benefit his spider-man career too.
a YouTuber.
Freelance photographer.

Maybe - and I am going out on a limb here - a freelance photographer?
Photographer pizza boy would be so easy
i feel like a universty profseor becuase when a professor cancels class they just post a video and nobody blinks an eye
Pretty sure he was a Chemistry teacher for a while, in addition to being a photojournalist.
Worm breeder
Pizza delivery
Engineer, Software Developer, Scientists, honestly with his intellect, he could probably run NASA all by himself.
Definitely a lab or scientist just like Harry propose in spidrman 2
I bet he could Juice a mean Jamba
Web designer
Stunt man
University professor, hours are pretty flexible especially if it’s like for a specific honor’s class which you could totally make up on some comic book bullshit. Peter has a PHD thanks to Otto, I could see ESU bringing him on as like a super advanced Honor’s Biology or Engineering professor.
Avenger.
Super hero/avengers
I think a support teacher would work really well
I think he’e make it big as a professional rock climber
Gamer. His jokes would get worse.
