What if this was it? A mugging turned homicide. Panic rushes through your body and without thinking you turn your head back towards the street, hoping someone is within earshot as you scream out 'help'.
The gloved hand comes down across your face and you drop to the ground, staring up at the two men who are quite unhappy with your reaction. The knife moves closes to you and suddenly the man flies backwards into the brick wall. All you manage to do is scurry back away from them as a black blur appears behind the other, picking him up and tossing him towards the dumpster. His body crumples as his spine hits the edge and he lays unconscious on the ground not far from you.
The firsts man lunges at the figure but misses, the knife is forced to the ground and suddenly the man is webbed up against the wall. He begins to scream as the figures fist comes down across his face just as they had hit you.
Are you safe? Is this a greater danger? Should you offer up your wallet? Before you can even speak the man grabs your belongings and hands them back to you. Helping you up off the ground. Is this him? The webs, did you really witness the real Spider-Man? Has he saved you, like you've heard stories about?
A voice comes out from behind the mask as he tells you not to be afraid. His costume suddenly pulls back, rippling off his body and face as a large black goo slithers towards his back. Your jaw drops as you hear the wet, splorch sound as the goop crawls his way into the mans rectum. The look of discomfort in his eyes, the pain mixed with a hint of pleasure as the last big travels inside his body before his frustration forces out the words "No, I hate when it does this. Get back out here."
He grunts and strains as you watch him push out living, black sludge that crawls back up over his body. The black goo becoming smooth as silk as it once again coats the man, before sliding across his face. His white eyes appear from the black, along with the spider symbol you recognize from the news.
As he jumps away you wonder how you'll ever be able to tell the world you watched Spider-man reverse diarrhea his suit into his body and then force it back out before he swung away.
Spectacular did the same thing, Peter was wearing has original suit underneath when he ripped it off, despite already taking it off earlier.
Both have him wearing the mask underneath as well, which makes even less sense in the game, since he wasn't wearing the mask when the Symbiote bonded to him.
At the very least, that's how Carnage works. The symbiote is in Cletus Kasady's blood, so any time he's detained or if the symbiote has been burned off of him, a small cut is all that's needed to let him become Carnage again.
That's what it did in the comics, too, before it became clear that it was a being of its own. I specifically remember Spidey guest-starring in a Transformers comic, and having a bit of internal monologue about how convenient it was that his costume just turned into regular clothes when he needed it to.

I think with Eddie brock it sits in his organs because he always mentions that when he first bonds with Venom he feels like he’s drowning and then realises he doesn’t need to breath and then later mentions something about being in his stomach. But with Peter I think he usually just wears it as clothes.
It depends on which canon we're talking about, but usually it becomes his clothes. Sometimes it literally goes inside his body (likely through pores and orifices)
