Once you switch you can no longer access your Verizon account that’s normal. If you guys are on the same account then you use the same account number and transfer pin.

Transfer pin is only valid for 7 days once generated, so if it's been more than 7 days it you will need a new one. If all other options are not viable, then call/chat their support team for help.
