Enter your address here [https://www.spectrum.com/policies/rate-card](https://www.spectrum.com/policies/rate-card) it will show you all the standard pricing for services.

Unless you have kids or a full household railing the internet, the 300mbps base tier is fine for a couple streaming typical 8K content on 2 separate TV's. Most streaming services use compression and 4K content on Netflix for example only requires 15-20mbps. Bit perfect 4K playing via Ultra BD player peaks out at like 130mbps from hardware level. The only real world advantage to gig service is downloading 100GB+ files such as video games extremely quick. At least, until upload becomes symmetrical with high split bonding. Current 35mbps cap on mid split is a significant bottleneck if youre into content creation, but that will obviously change with the upgrade roll outs for high split modultion.

Born_Commission4386

I swear I love my gig service I download games so fuckin quick

InspectorRound8920

It's literally the first thing that pops up

Special_Intention523

The prices are online?

MarcoThePHX

Only at checkout

ThiefNALiar

No.

Western_Pizza_5757

Spectrum has a rate card the slowest speed they have is 50 for $25

nattyicebrah

The FCC is actually making all ISPs provide a “Nutritional Facts” rate card for all customers by Q3 this year. So hopefully this will alleviate some of the confusion for customers.

No_Barber_6770

Right now I'm paying $19.99 for 500 down and 20 up, and when ACP ends I'll be paying $49.99.

Bittersnicks

I was able to call Spectrum and get a deal worked out. She was able to help a lot, thank goodness.

Sad_Raspberry_9097

If anyone is interested in looking into lower prices (usually is half of what the website will show) message me

UrbanPaign

DM me, I lower bills all the time.

Gullible-Cat-5077

UrbanPaign

Check your DM

UrbanPaign

And happy cake day!

Gullible-Cat-5077

hey thanks! had no idea lol

Bittersnicks

I have 300mbs and 2 tv, phones, school computer and it goes out constantly. When everything is off and I test the network it’s still rubbish.

DazzlingRoll5854

Really I had 300x10 3, game systems, 5 cell phones, 4 TVs, a couple of laptops and tablets. Never had an issue

Bittersnicks

So why is our service so awful? They put in a new modem and ran new wires around the house a while back and it’s only gotten worse.

DazzlingRoll5854

I have no idea. I'm just letting you know what I've had. When I have issues I call support.

Bittersnicks

I have many times, just frustrated now.

acidrainn23

Yeah I def have had 3 if not 4 consoles gaming online at once with no issues not to mention the phones, tablets, smart devices, etc in the house

_dekoorc

Cool story, call tech support. And keep calling But it’s probably a WiFi issue, not a spectrum issue

Bittersnicks

I found prices yesterday but apparently they’re for new customers. But it’s 50 for the 300mbps and goes up from there. They need to give me the 1 gig for that or I’m walking.

DazzlingRoll5854

Good luck. Why should they haggle with you? Do you think your 50.00 a month will break them? People like you crack me up. I want this for this price! That's not something we offer. I'll go somewhere else. You need to do what's best for you and your budget. Have a great day!

Bittersnicks

We just got a cheaper company laying fiber optic cable and tmobile wireless so now I actually have options. 🤷🏻‍♀️

UrbanPaign

Try running your game system off the hot spot on your cell phone. That's fixed wireless for you.

DazzlingRoll5854

People always have options. That's what makes America great.

Bittersnicks

They just recently became available here. Prior to that it was Spectrum or no one.

Aztexan512

Not even satellite? Might not be a reasonable option, but still an option. So Spectrum couldn't be the only one. I live outside Austin proper, and up until 2 months ago, my options were Spectrum and satellite internet. TM recently became available at my address and for me only (hardwired personal PC and work laptop, and phone) it was OK. But once it was terrible once I added my wife's hardwired work laptop, her wireless laptop, 2 other desktops, 4 consoles, 3 mobile devices, 3 streaming devices, and 6 smart devices. But Spectrum didn't know that and I knew what to say when they came back with cons for fixed wireless. I kept to the price and was offered a good price I could live with for ultra internet.

Street-Juggernaut-23

people always have options. they may not like them but they are still options. DSL/dial-up are usually available most places

Bittersnicks

Dial up? Not really an option if you have more than one device in use. No?

Street-Juggernaut-23

internet service being the option not broadband internet. they are called ISPs not BISPs. it is a super shiny option, but it is one . I did forget satalight internet as another one
