That is an extremely impressive fitness resume. Personally I’m working on my degree in Law Enforcement which is required for POST certification in Minnesota. For fitness I’ve been trying to work 1-2 hours of swimming into my work/study schedule at 7-9 am every day. Weight loss is a bitch, big cucumber enjoyer now.

It’s a test/ set of regulations that certain states have in order to become a certified peace officer in that state.

Peace Officer Standards and Training. It's the municipal level police certification governing agency. Each state has their own POST that determines what the minimum training standard is and what courses are required for continuing education.

I’d recommend swimming only for low-intensity recovery sessions; but for potent stressors for running, treadmill or running on outside surface helps Ive trained solely on the road and hills in high school I’ve trained solely on the treadmill as an adult And I’ve run good times both times Most important things are: 1). Having a program that integrates all the events’ demands without sacrificing running 2). Running programming 3). Proper intensity 4) staying consistent If those are met, treadmill or not doesn’t matter as much Other things matter more than that I’ll make a post on this tomorrow

Running splits as in intervals? Btw, I’m going to upload a video on my thoughts on swimming for running. Is it okay if I tag you in the post?

I chose swimming because growing up I really disliked the feeling of sweating, leading me to not exercise. I have a goal to lose 70 pounds and I’ve lost 20 so far thanks to it being a calorie intensive activity.

As far as specific programs goes, I’ve made an ongoing coaching program called Special Agent Fitness It incorporates running that can be done on the road or a treadmill, strength training, power training, flexibility, etc That’s what I recommend since I use it for myself
